Drawing from Matthew 6:7-8, I explore how our prayers often reveal the areas where our faith falters. These moments of disbelief can lead us down paths where we try to take matters into our own hands—much like Abraham did when he created an Ishmael, trying to force an answer to his prayers.

Specifically, we are talking about mono-ethnic and polyethnic churches and seeing which one has the correct biblical standing. We talk about how it makes sense why there is mono-ethnic churches in countries that are mono-ethnic by nature. But since the work is becoming more globalized and for countries such as the United States which has been polyethnic since its foundation. We believe this is a vital topic to have a deep talk on. This week we have the follow up to Josiahs story. He shares how his life changed since that encounter with an old mentor who said his life wasn't in the right place. Josiah expresses the process of moving back to Florida. Similarly, to how the prodigal son was coming home from the pig sty. Josiah was entering back into the fathers arms and getting back on the straight and narrow. He talks about his experiences during the return to house of prayer in Sarasota. Furthermore, Josiahs life gets blessed but the Lord taught him that's everything is about Serving at Jesus feet. We then transition to a deep talk about worship.

This week we have Josiah share his testimony of how he grew up in a missionary family that experienced great moves of the Lord. Being a kid he remembers going into remote villages with his missionary parents and sharing the gospel. Furthermore, he shares the dangers that happened during those trips. Josiah also talks about how the surrounding of bad company in his teen years lead him astray from the Lord. His testimony is some what of a mixture of a modern twist of king David and the prodigal son.

This week we have a new friend of ours Chris Vercelli. Who is a man on fire for God and revival in the Sarasota County. Chris has been doing a prayer and worship circle at the siesta key beach for 150 weeks straight so far. Where people have been encountering the Lord and getting baptized into a life with Jesus. However, as you will hear it was not always like this in Chris's life. Initially, he didn't see a need for God in his childhood and teen years. He shares how he fought cancer, specifically leukemia. Furthermore, the car accident he was in that can only be described as a miracle, is something everyone should hear.

In this episode, we talk about walking in faith. We will use the father of faith (Abraham) as an example. Abraham lived his life walking in faith and that kind of obedient behavior should be implemented in every believer's life in the 21st Century. Afterward, we discuss how one of the things that Jesus prayed about, which was about heaven’s will being manifested on earth i.e., “thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.” Furthermore, Vasily shares some testimonials about walking in faith. We’ll finish by discussing one of the most dangerous actions during a faith walk I.e., calling something impure that God has made clean (Acts 10:15). In this episode of The Path of A Believer, we have invited our host's wife Sara to come and join us. Sara in 2019 was going through a lot of changes that had some negative effects on her life. Through the change that Vasiliy went through Sara started to be attacked by the devil from all sides. Sara battled depression, anxiety, hatred, and fear. Sara shares how God entered in and made a home in her, changed her life, cast out all fear, and proclaimed life over her. Welcome back to The Path of A Believer Season 2. With this new season, we are looking further into the gospel and to proclaim the name of Jesus in a different light. Our focus on this season is to have deep talks between Vasiliy and Daniel as well as have testimonial episodes in between with our guests. In this episode, we discuss the importance of spending quality time with God. To start this new year we wanted to really focus on this topic since this is the basis of all of our relationship with Christ our Lord. Spending time with God builds a foundation in your life that allows for the Holy Spirit to trust and work through you, in you, and around you. Our goal with this episode is to first show how we spend time with God and then to empower you to spend quality time with God on your own time.
