The Mediocre Photographers Ben and Jack attempt to debunk the world of fine art photography from their living rooms, setting challenges for each other along the way

This week, Ben and Jack discuss their photo conversations, as well as Olympus closing their camera branch, Vogue Magazine’s cover of Simone Biles taken by Annie Leibowitz as well as Vanity Fair’s cover of Viola Davis by Dario Calmese. This week’s photo conversation was ‘Isolation’ - Jack’s photo consisted of a self-portrait with abstract overtones and a dark narrative. Ben tried and failed to capture something similar and instead went back to look at the first photo he took during the lockdown and found it fitted the narrative quite well. The next photo conversation word is FAITHFUL. Do feel free to get involved by submitting your work with the #amediocreconversation on Instagram for the chance to be featured on the show.
