A difficult week for spurs with 2 losses a draw and 1 win. However, 1 loss was far more significant as Spurs and the wider Spurs community felt the loss of Gian Piero Ventrone the most. The heartbeat of the dressing room, the Italian fitness coach was the energy in the dressing room and a father like figure to most.Spur's were able to win for him against Brighton thanks to a change of system. So Spurs have failed in talks with a third manager with Italian links. It’s a mess and the world knows. Andrew and Kwab’na breakdown the goings on at Hotspur Way while trying to make sense of it all. Spurs have had no games but still seem to be taking losses. It looks like Paratici is coming but Conte isn’t. So what does that mean for the future of Spurs? Spurs beat Wolves and despite the name, they were toothless. Top 4 is mathematically possible but improbable. We look at Kane’s future. Comparisons with Leicester. Are we still a big club? Spurs lost to Leeds and it was pathetic. With every passing game the future becomes more important. Andrew and Kwab’na laugh through the pain of the performance, players and personality of Spurs. Spurs have an outside chance of finishing in the top 4. That means winning all remaining games and hoping others falter. Spurs dropped points from a winning position. Kane and Ndombele looked good while our defence did not. After a much improved performance against West Brom, the ShelfSide Podcast looked at the squad and how it compares with others in a similar position. We have two games to break down and being professionals Andrew and Kwab’na cover Fulham and Sheffield Utd. However, we all know it’s just Ndombele’s world and we are just living in it.
