The stories of victory throughout the Bible are an encouragement to us as believers who live in a fallen, sinful world. Many times we face opposition, giants of a kind, and we often look forward to how God will deliver us from these difficult times; however, something we must realize is that once once a giant is conquered, there's often another right behind it. The sobering reality is that our lives are full of trials and obstacles, but we shouldn't be discouraged by this. It's another opportunity for God to deliver and provide.
Independence is a beautiful gift, especially considering the blessing it is to live in a free country. At times in our lives we can become independent from God, but He wants us (plus, we need to be, and in reality we are) to be dependent upon Him. While independence is good in certain contexts, it's never ideal in our walk with God. We need Him. Join us today for the latest from Pastor Jeff McKee as we look at the need to be In Dependence.
We can rest in the reality that we are saved and God calls us friend; however, we should also remember that we worship the Sovereign. God is our friend, but He is Lord and Master, and we should approach Him with reverence. Pastor Jeff challenges us in this episode to not get too comfortable with God!
Forgiveness is something we each have experienced in Christ—what an amazing gift it is! Even so, at times we find it difficult to forgive others. Pastor Jeff challenges us with the reality that Jesus teaches: forgive others in the likeness that Jesus has forgiven us—and then forgive again.
God wants more than the ceremonial exercise of religion to be our experience as believers—He is more interested in our being than in our doing. Join Pastor Jeff in this week's episode of the PrayFull Podcast!

“Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred. And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. [...]
It’s time for a gut check! Now, maybe more than ever, and there’s a particular passage in the Bible that emphasizes this quite graphically. In Exodus the 12th chapter, we learn about the first Passover instituted by God Himself. The Lord is very detailed in His instruction of how this was to be carried out, [...]
There is one primary thing we must have to be the victorious Christian God desires for us to be. That one thing? The Abiding Presence of the Holy Spirit. God, through His Spirit, has introduced us to Christ, convicted us of sin, and guided us into truth. He illuminates God’s Word and anoints His servants [...]
It’s amazing to me how many Christians live so far below God’s ideal for them. He has given so much and we experience so little. He desires so much more for us! Paul’s prayer for every Christian (of course it’s the Holy Ghost who is the author) is that we might be filled with ALL [...]
Feeling overwhelmed with the circumstances of life? Maybe you used to trust God, but too much has happened . . . everything has gone wrong. Now you find yourself doubting if God is still there. If anyone had a reason to question God’s faithfulness, Joseph did. Joseph faced many trying circumstances . . . [...]
Jesus said to His disciples in Matthew 16:24: If any man will come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. What does it mean to come after someone? To come after someone means you are no longer the priority. You are yielding all control to the one in [...]
