In today's luncheon message, Donnie speaks about how in the way of God there's a Required Payment. Our good works alone cannot get us to heaven and in right standing with God.......Jesus had to be our payment for our sins, a sacrifice we could not make on our own. To him be the glory forever! How will you live your life in knowledge of what Jesus did for you and me? Enjoy the message!
Today at the luncheon, we welcome special guest Tiffany Johnson who has an amazing testimony to share. God protected her, keeping her alive after a shark attack, and she is now turning the situation around to encourage and speak to us today about the power and faithfulness of our God! Each of us can be intimidated with sharing our testimony or witnessing to other people about Jesus. Continuing in our "I Surrender" message series, Donnie preaches a word out of Jeremiah 18 today about the potter and the clay. We are created in God's image, but are we moldable? Sin steps in and disturbs the molding process God has on our lives, we should turn and let God have his way and shape our lives into the beautiful pots he wants us to be. Enjoy the message.
Donnie starts a new series titled "I Surrender" and speaks a message entitled Which chair are you sitting in? He uses 3 examples, the 1st being the chair of the non-believing world, the 2nd being the chair of the luke warm Christian, and the 3rd being the chair of the mature follower in Christ. As we have come to Christ, we have all been in one of those chairs at one time or another, but where are you now? And who are you bringing along with you? Enjoy the message!
As Donnie is away on a much deserved vacation, guest speaker Joey Deese brings his god-son to sing the national anthem for the luncheon, and then he speaks a message out of Romans 7 challenging us to not forsake our Freedom in Christ. Austin Darling leads the fellowship luncheon in worship today and guest speaker Pastor Brian Duncan from Fusion City church speaks to the luncheon today a message entitled "The Deceptive Heart." The world tells you just follow your heart, but is that what God wants us to do? Jeremiah 17 tells us the heart is deceitful above all things, so who can we trust? Brian reminds us today our heart should be in tune with God's heart so we may live an effective life for the glory of God! Enjoy the message.
Wrapping up our Parable series, Donnie speaks a message on the book of Jude entitled Contend for the Faith. Many in this world are going their own way, so be careful what you hear. In today's message, Donnie continues the parable series out of Luke 7 with the Parable of the Money Lender. This parable is a demonstration of Christ's forgiveness of our sin debt we could not repay, but do we acknowledge what Christ has done for us? Do we forgive as he also forgave us? Out of Luke 14, Donnie speaks on the parable of being the Least Seat at the Table. This is a challenging message to be humble and be ok with a lowly spot or position. We all desire a place of honor, but God said the First will be last and the last will be First. We must have faith! Enjoy the message!

We can be good in the eyes of man, doing the right thing and being a good person in our deeds.......but what does God think of us? Today is a short message/devotion over all of those getting baptized in the pond at the fellowship luncheon! The Lord calls those who have chose Jesus as Lord and savior of their life to follow the Lord in believers baptism, not as part of their salvation, but as a outward picture of what's already been done on the inside!
Once again we have worship and recording artist Mack Brock leading worship at the Fellowship Luncheon today! It was an incredible time of worship, praising our God for the victories in our life, and calling on his promises to lead us forward! Enjoy and be uplifted!!

Where does Fear come from? God hears us so we are not alone in our fears, and he calls us to carry on in our Fears. Why? Because Jesus is our peace, stay focused on his voice always!

We welcome special guest Kamaran Yaraei who is from Iran. Kamaran was a Shiite Muslim and became a follower of Christ in America. He now leads a ministry to Iran leading people to Christ. Today Donnie continues on week 2 of our Theology of work series with Calling and Vocation. We as believers all have a calling. We all as believers have a trade or profession that allows us to provide. Yet, is your Calling and your Vocation the same thing? If you are tired or unsatisfied with your work, this is for you!
In today's message, Donnie kicks off a new series on Work and how God would want us to carry ourselves! Specifically today he spoke about Competition and work, can you be competitive at your work place or sport and still be Godly? When is it too competitive? Our warfare is not always flesh and blood, it is spiritual as well! Donnie is back at the helm leading us into the new series the Armor of God! It is quite obvious the devil is out to steal, kill, and destroy, just look at our current situations around us! But God calls us to put on the armor of God daily to stand up against his attacks, and today's message reminds us that our fight is very spiritual, not necessarily physical. We pray this blesses and encourages you in your walk with Christ!
Today we have Sam DesRocher, an employee of HMS and member of the faith committee, share his testimony at the luncheon today while Donnie is still out. Powerful reminders today that while the things God calls us to may seem small at first, the impact on people's lives can be substantial if you simply say yes to God's calling in your life! We overcome by the blood of the lamb and the word of our testimony!
Today David Kapps fills in for Donnie who is out with Covid but recovering well. He brings a message entitled Hope. Hope is something we can all use right now in our world dealing with disease or different hardships the lists go on.......but in this crazy world we can always find a secure home of Hope in Jesus Christ our Lord. Trust in him as your savior and you will always have reason to hope!
As we start a brand new year, Donnie comes to us with an encouraging message of Staying Alive in 2022. Obviously we want you to be physically alive! But Donnie goes through the scriptures to be encouraging on how to be spiritually alive as well, so we can be a light to those around us!
The final luncheon of 2021, special guest Gerald Malloy leads us in worship and Donnie gives a quick message entitled Jesus, God with Us! During this Christmas season we have a lot to be thankful for, but let us not forget the real reason for the season, Jesus coming to earth, being born of a virgin, living a sinless life, and dying on a cross for our sin debt! Thanks be to God!

He opens up the scripture to key points on how Gods word forecasts a savior to be born and to give his life for us! As we enter into the Christmas season, Donnie takes us through 1 John and other places in the scriptures to highlight a bunch of characteristics we as believers can either stand to lose or cannot stand to lose. God calls us be in the world but not of the world, not an easy task at times......But we have an eternal home we look forward to and God calls us to lead others towards his saving power through Jesus our Lord! After such an amazing season at HMS and slowly starting to bring 2021 to a close, Donnie speaks to us from the scriptures about being thankful for God our Father, Jesus our Savior, and the holy Spirit which guides us who are Christ followers. After our series on Sin, Donnie leads us in a one off message on Why we Should Serve God. When Jesus has delivered us from our sin and is our Lord and Savior, we should be so compelled to not sit on all the talents God has given us......rather use them to serve the kingdom and help minister to those around us who need to know Jesus!
This is the final week on our series on Sin, a topic most often not talked about in the church today that needs to be! Donnie takes us through the scriptures to show us that through Jesus Christ as Lord and savior of our lives, we are delivered from the sin debt we cannot pay! We should then take the good news we've received and tell it to others around us! Stay tuned next week as we are likely to have a special guest worship leader Mack Brock!
Today Donnie dives in deeper to God's redemptive plan for Sin, all of which none of us deserves! He opens the scripture to demonstrate how Jesus gave his life so that we will choose his sacrifice as atonement for our sins once and for all! But the redemption should also produce a heart change, a challenge to go and sin no more, just like when Jesus meets the woman caught in adultury.
