God doesn't tell us that our fleshly desires will just vanish once we're saved, but by the power of the Holy Spirit He helps us overcome those desires to truly walk out the abundant life He has planned for us!

When we look at other people’s lives on social media, they look perfect, because they are putting their best image, their filtered image, forward. Even the funny "ugly ones" are filtered to look amazing. And we see this and then compare our behind-the-scenes with other people’s highlight reels. We feel like losers, because we see the best of their best, and we know the worst of our worst. God wants you to know that you are AWESOME!
1 Peter 3: 10For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile: Speaking evil is saying about you what God is not saying about.
I confess, "the wicked flee when no one is pursuing, but the righteous are bold as a lion” Pr.28:1; I possess lion-hearted boldness in spiritual warfare. Guilt is the parent of fear.
Our conscience creates the pursuer that ought to be there even when he is not there. Adam and Eve now have a bad conscience. And a bad conscience makes breezes into burglars and shadows into ghosts and police into adversaries and parents into police and God into an enemy—even when they are not. Who are the lion-hearted righteous ones?
The righteous are the ones who trust in the Lord. The ones who have faith and bank their hope on the mercy and power and wisdom of God.
Proverbs 18: 21 Words kill, words give life; they’re either poison or fruit—you choose. Have the right “Body Language”.
Learning a new language takes time unless its a matter of life and death to you.
How desperate are you to have the right “Body language”?
God wants you to know His plans but if you don’t understand His language – You wont know where you are going.
R U ready for the promises of God? Expansion is something we can all seek. We want to increase our effectiveness and expand our future. We may pray for more opportunity to take new ground. God wants to give us increase. Yet like every good parent he wants the growth you gain to be the growth you keep. He wants his kids to grow in strength not just height. He wants our lives to increase not just in opportunity, but more importantly in maturity.
Whenever growth and expansion comes it will create a stretch in our lives. It will stretch our attitudes, discipline, mindset and willingness. The stretch of expansion also exposes what is often hidden within us. Ambition, pride, hurt, wrong motives, insecurity, jealously are all revealed in the intensity of increase.
The apostle Paul told Timothy, growth is coming so you need to get ready and build your life, deal with your inner world. Jesus told his disciples before you go out you need to look within, He challenged their priorities, rebuked their unbelief and questioned, at times, their motives.
When Noah was told a flood was coming he had to first build an arc. We, like Noah, need to know how to build for the future. We need a life that can handle the coming rain. We need to build now what will help secure our future later. It’s hard to build when you’re not even sure what’s coming. But it’s better to build a life now for increase than get to a place where the increase sinks you.
So where can you get in shape before the stretch?
Don’t wait until the door opens to get your shoes. Don’t wait for your moment before you deal with your motive. Work it out now, work out the negativity, envy, doubt.
Don’t allow the expansion to expose you, but rather let its pending arrival propel your preparation…
The power to share Christ boldly.
Power; the Spirit’s power wherever you are weak, He is strong.
We looked at the power to have hope in a hopeless world.
The power the Holy Spirit gives us to know the fullness of God. No other way to know Him. How do we live the Spirit-filled life? What does it look like, and what does it mean to be filled with the Spirit?
Galatians Chapter 5:16-17; here’s what Paul said, “So I say, live by the Spirit,” (Live by the Spirit, or be filled with the Spirit, or walk by the Spirit, or keep in step with the Spirit, or be led by the Spirit.) He said, “So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature.”
You won’t be continuing to live in sin if you live by the Spirit.
What are some of the spiritual gifts? Romans12: 6-8, “In his grace, God has given us (believers) different gifts for doing certain things well.” He says this first of all, “If God has given you the ability to prophesy, speak out with as much faith as God has given you.”
(Ephesians 4:30 Message) Don’t grieve God. Don’t break his heart. His Holy Spirit, moving and breathing in you, is the most intimate part of your life, making you fit for himself. Don’t take such a gift for granted.
Spiritual gifts are mentioned the first time in Scripture in Romans Chapter 1.
Romans 1: 11, Paul said; “I long to see you so that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to make you strong, that is, that you and I may be mutually encouraged by each other’s faith.”
Spiritual gifts are not something weird or freaky.
1 Corinthians 14:1; “Follow the way of love and eagerly desire spiritual gifts.”
