That's how I would describe Indiana-based author Frank Bill's book, Donnybrook.
This year, the film adaptation starring Frank Grillo and directed by Tim Sutton hit theaters. A gritty tale about a bare-knuckle fight tournament providing a dreamy salvation for lost, depraved souls living on the fringe of society,
Bill discusses his novel and how it turned into a movie. Characters from page to screen.

He co-wrote the 2015 drama, Man Down, starring Shia Labeouf and penned the screenplay for the upcoming Frank Grillo Netflix Original film, Point Blank.
Oh, there's also something called a remake of The Raid, which Simon is also writing.

Did you pay 100 dollars for that flop on Saturday? While not a bad fight, it was ill advised as one of the fighters didn't come in 100 percent.
If Pacquiao was hurt, he should have postponed the fight. For example, Canelo Alvarez got hurt in December and didn't fight. He didn't say let's keep training and do a fight. He waited. Pac lost the trust of fans when he chose to fight.
Forget the Rematch.
Boxing takes a huge hit because that was the last good fight. NBC is showing free fights. Canelo's fight is for free. What's next.
