We took the Netflix Vs HULU debate and put it on the air this morning, and we even added in Roku because no one really knows how a Roku works. We asked if you prefer Netflix being a season behind on shows but without commercials OR if you prefer HULU with the current episodes of shows but with commercials. Where do you fall? Also on the show we talked a lot about the pros and cons of driverless cars, we looked at some of the upcoming ArtPrize installations (yeah, it's already that time of year), and we played "Where's Kevin Wednesdays?!?" All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
Today Curtis and Steve did a pants swap on the show. Yesterday we all decided to play dress up so we got assigned outfits to wear today. Connie was a cowgirl, Curtis went for the 2018 hot summer look of windbreaker pants and a button up, and Steve was given "preppy". So when Steve showed up wearing a shirt that went better with Curtis' pants than his own shirt, a swap had to happen. After Curtis announced his pants were growing a swamp, Steve said how about a shirt swap. That was denied and Steve put on the swamp pants... Also on the show we talked about why Grease 2 was trending on Twitter, Curtis listed the most popular genres of music in America, and Connie announced her brand new segment: Where's Kevin Wednesdays! All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
Today Steve announced that him and his wife will be having a baby girl in December! Steve and his wife have thrown around a few girl names, but haven't settled on anything yet. We were hoping you could help them out with some suggestions! Also on the show we talked about the latest departure from the Bachelorette, Curtis asks us if we would eat some of the weirdest donuts in the world, and Connie finally gets a PayPal account! All of that, Curtis Whatever, and much more on today's show!
Connie found a Buzzfeed poll (Yup, Connie found it, not Curtis, the Buzzfeed aficionado) that listed the most overrated things in the world and we disagreed with a lot of them. Love, definitely not overrated. Bacon, WTH!? NOT OVERRATED. Curtis agreed with a lot of them, but Buzzfeed is kinda his fav. Also on the show we talked about pulling your kids in wagons behind your car, we listed some fashion mistakes for the summer, and Steve tries to explain weather on the sun. All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
It's Beer Friday and you can definitely hear the consequences of it the second half of the show. We have our annual GR on Tap festival this weekend and to get everyone pumped up we sampled some of the beers on air. It got a little outta control after the beer was sampled, but it was fun. Also on the show we talked about the age people stop clubbing at, we updated everyone on The Bachelorette, and Curtis turned out not to be the clumsiest person on the station! All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
Today we played a little game that could be quite helpful for people who are new to storing condiments. We played "Fridge or Cabinet!?", where we listed off condiments and where they needed to be stored. You have to listen to this or else you may be eating spoiled mayo! Also on the show we talked about how Kid Rock might be running for US Senate in 2018, our AC broke again in the studio and Steve got reprimanded again for setting up an emergency repair, and we learned the difference between a Wisconsin Bratwurst and a Michigan Bratwurst. All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
Steve has a brand new catch phrase! With the help of Curtis mispronouncing "snack", Steve now will be calling for "Shhhhnnnnack Time!" We got tons of texts saying how hilarious this was, so for the time being he will be repeating that phrase. Sorry, Liz, but you were the only one to text in that it was annoying... Also on the show we learn the origin of Hummers (the automobile, you sicko), Curtis has a hard time saying "I love you", and we play "Lifetime or Adult Movie!?" All of that, Curtis' Whatever and much more on today's show!
Occasionally we like to get kinda deep on the show, and today was one of those days. We asked everyone what they think was their purpose on this earth. Connie said to spread happiness, Curtis wasn't sure so Connie assigned "being funny" to him, and Steve opted for raising his yet-to-be-born child. What do you think your's is? Also on the show Connie gave our intern Kim a messy bun that she wasn't a fan of, Curtis lists his top 16 favorite ice cream flavors and we check out some Amazon Prime deals. All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
Connie had a bit of a mishap this morning... She accidently ripped her pants while squatting down to plug in her headphones! She had wore freshly dried pants out of the dryer this morning so they were extra tight, and when she got to work... RIIIIIP! Curtis was there to help though, and told Connie to just avoid wide turns and no one will see anything. Huh? Also on the show we talked about how Steve finally got his power back after the storm, Curtis got to sleep in for once over the weekend, and it's time for Christmas in July on Hallmark Channel! All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
In case you slept through the storm last night, we had a big storm last night. The storm left over 150,000 people without power, including Steve. So to help combat the effects of the power outages, we gave you tips on what to do with your frozen and refrigerated food. Also on the show Steve did his Steve's Stories on the history of fireworks, Connie learned about Hallmark's new Christmas lineup (because Christmas in July?), and Curtis tells gambling stories that will make you want to scream. All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
Today was truly a day to behold. We got to talking about how we were unable to reach our fundraising goal for the Humane Society of West Michigan today when Curtis semi-volunteered to take Connie's place for the faceful of mayo. So we took a show vote and it was official, 2 votes to 1, that Curtis would get mayo in the face. If you didn't see the video, you need to. Also on the show we found out if we have a normal morning routine, the Cat, Emma and Haley from the Rockford High School Marching Band joined us to talk about walking in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, and we learned that Michigan is the 6th best state to enjoy your summers. All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
With it being the day after The 4th of July, you should expect more fireworks to be going off in your neighborhood tonight, love it or hate it. Today we talked a lot about these amateur fireworks, the legal aspects, how late people set them off and everything else you can think about fireworks. Also on the show we talked about what we do to escape reality, we learned what we like to put on our salad at the salad bar, and we asked if people know how to use a manual can opener. All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
It's the day before the 4th of July and we are here totally not phoning it in while most listeners are on vacation! Seriously though, we love shows like this, we figure we can be a little more loose with what we talk about when less people are listening. Like for example we played a lot of music that Tom, our boss, would HATE! Also on the show we recapped the Amway Family Fireworks, we debated on whether mayo based coleslaw is better than vinegar based coleslaw, and Curtis asks if it's creepy if people tell you that you look hot in your Facebook photos. All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
Steve's Stories: Pulled Pork Sliders Recipe From 'Fair Foods: The Most Popular and Offbeat Recipes from America's State and County Fairs'
If you didn't listen to the show today, you are in for a treat! This podcast is toe-tally amazing! What's with the toe puns, you ask? Well, we had the pleasure of talking to Jerry today, the man who had his toe eaten by his dog. Now before you go and start scolding his dog, Kiko, you need to know that Kiko probably saved Jerry's life by dining on his digit. Also on the show Steve showed off an awesome Pulled Pork Slider recipe he got from a Fair Foods Cookbook for his Steve's Stories, we learned that when you see people with a wedgie from their jeans it's actually on purpose (sometimes), and we get pumped up for tomorrow night's fireworks display at the Amway Family Fireworks! All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
About 7 years ago, Jerry fell asleep on and woke up to his dog, Kiko, finishing up snacking on his toe. Jerry had an infection that wasn't healing and the dog, out of natural instinct, took care of the problem.
So, Jerry woke up and his big toe was missing and his dog's face was all bloody. Turns out that Jerry had diabetes and didn't know it. That is the reason why his injury to his toe had not been healing. Jerry doesn't like doctors, despite being married to a nurse, and refused to get his toe checked out until that fateful day that Kiko made his move.
It turns out that Kiko saved Jerry's foot, and perhaps even his life. If the infection continued without being treated, who knows what would have happened.
Too many Buzzfeed quizzes today! First Curtis found a quiz that would figure out what type of pool party person you were based on your floaty preference. Then Steve got to talking about how he feels like a Disney Princess after getting a hammock and a bird feeder, so Curtis found ANOTHER quiz that told us which Disney Princesses we were. Also on the show we talked about the big fireworks show downtown this Saturday, we learned that 10% of Americans drink over 70 adult beverages a week, and we found out that Curtis secretly loves America's Got Talent. All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
Curtis found a study this morning that we are still trying to figure out the point of. We are pretty sure it tested dog people vs cat people and looked at their happiness, intelligence, and how funny they are. Turns out that cat people are smarter and dog people are funnier. Then he mentioned something about cats doing drugs or something, we aren't sure... Also on the show we talked about napping at work and why it's a good thing, Steve talked about how his pets have been acting different ever since his wife got pregnant, and Curtis' daughter breaks his lawnmower! All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
Steve made a huge announcement this morning... Him and his wife, Brittainy, are having a baby! Woo hoo! He wrote a blog about it so you can check it out here. Also on the show we talked all about our vacations. Curtis went camping with the family, Connie stayed at home and had her mom and aunt visit, and Steve painted a lot of his toy soldiers and still worked on his vacation! Also on the show we had to deal with NO AC all morning! Even though it was cold outside, it was in the 80s in our studio today. YUCK! And finally, Curtis rocked out his Whatever segment and much more on today's show!
It's our vacation! Wooooo hooooo! But don't worry, you'll get to hear some of our best stuff all next week with a week long Connie & Curtis Best-Of-Palooza! We always get a little goofy the day before vacation, and today was no exception! We had a packed show that included things like how to spell the word "dewy", stories about parking cars, and watching other people work! Exciting, right? Ha! Also on the show Steve did the his Steve's Stories on Father's Day, we had the inventor of Yolf on the show, and Curtis gives some fathering tips! All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
Who runs the home more often, women or men? That was a question we asked today and most people seemed to say that it's the women who run the home. It's different for everybody, but more listeners said that it is women. How about your home? Also on the show Curtis attempts to braid Steve's hair, we talked about the Griffins' Calder Cup victory parade this Friday, and we find out how short shorts have to be in order to be considered too short. All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
Griffins win the Calder Cup! Griffins win the Calder Cup! Today we got to talk to one of our sister stations in Utica, NY about how those losers in Syracuse couldn't beat our Griffins! Apparently our friends in Utica also hate the Crunch because it is one of their rivals. Also on the show we talked about the coolest places to visit in each state, Steve told a story of his first crush, and Curtis talked about how he lost a girlfriend over Party of Five. All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
The belch heard around West Michigan was released at about 9:40 this morning while Connie and Curtis had Nick Swardson on the phone. Nick called in to talk about his upcoming stand-up show with Adam Sandler, Rob Schneider, and David Spade at Soaring Eagle Casino. Nick was telling a story about how he was drunk in Grand Rapids while filming the movie 30 Minutes or Less when he just lets out an epic burp. When confronted about it he said "Yeah, I know, deal with it." Also on the show we learned some awesome lawn care hacks from a listener, we called the police to ask if it's legal to camp on a random person's lawn (it's not), and Curtis tries to lure Steve into his kiddy pool. All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
We had Nick Swardson on the show today to talk about his upcoming show at Soaring Eagle Casino with Adam Sandler and crew.
Curtis alerted us to a very pressing issue that he and his neighbors have been dealing with. Roaming packs of 5-year-olds are causing quite the stir in the late hours of the evening in Curtis' subdivision. According to Curtis, you will see tons of small children out at night around 1am... Huh? Also on the show Connie gave her husband a new nickname and he is not impressed, Curtis' daughters make him judge their dancing competition, and we gave away our first pair of tickets to the Katy Perry show! All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
How awesome of a show name would “Bigfoot and the Dogman in the Morning”™ be? Really awesome! That’s how awesome! We were talking about Bigfoot today when a listener called in to tell us about a Michigan legend. The Legend of the Dogman! Also on the show we dissect the Katy Perry, Taylor Swift feud, Steve does his Steve’s Stories on The Grand Rapids Griffins, and we ask the question “at what age do be start to enjoy bird watching?” All of that, Curtis’ Whatever, and much more on today’s show!
Do you take photos of your friends when they aren't looking? Not like innocent pictures when you are all together at a party, but more like "I saw you across the street the other day so I took a bunch of photos of you." Connie, Steve and the listeners all agree that the "I saw you across the street" photo should be called the creeper photo. Also on the show we talk about Super Soakers, we learn how you can be an actor in Fantastic Beasts 2, and we take a fire safety quiz. All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show.
This morning, Curtis had a chance to reminisce about his favorite movie of all time... Weekend at Bernies II. Hmmmmm, that is an odd favorite movie to have, but OK. Also on the show we asked the audience how much they could spend on themselves without their significant other getting angry, Connie and Curtis talked a lot about their camping habits, and Curtis gave us the top 10 fashion do's and 5 fashion don'ts for summer 2017. All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
Curtis found a list of the best songs of 2017 from the Billboard Top 40 this morning and we had a little bit of a discussion about it. After several minutes of joking around and randomly changing the subject, we went to commercial. That's when a listener texted in to say that we never mentioned the #1 best song from 2017... Whoops! Forgetting what we were actually talking about is pretty typical for us though. Also on the show we welcomed our brand new intern Kim from Ferris State University, we discussed what would happen if we were caught "banging" at work, and we learned that people actually use fitbits for longer than a few months. All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
One of our favorite interns of all time has come back to the show for the summer! Connor is freshly graduated from Lowell High School and is here all summer long before he makes his way to Ball State University to begin his degree in broadcasting! Glad to have you back. Also on the shoe we give pregnancy tips for women getting ready for hot summer, we analyze an incredible photo of a man mowing his lawn during a tornado, and John Mellencamp tells everyone that is happy that they have something wrong with them. What? All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
It's garage sale season and we got all of the tips you need to make the big bucks. Don't worry, these aren't Curtis' "I made $14 at my last garage sale" tips. These are tips from Consumers Report. Also on the show we get into the story of Connie's transition from long hair to short, we try to get Connie's husband Dan to buy some beer accessories, and we announced our brand new Channel 95-7 App! All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
Several weeks ago Curtis mentioned that he had smelled a strong scent of burnt toast while driving on the Beltline near 28th Street. We could not for the life of us figure out what was causing it until today! That's when two listeners called in with their guesses and we think that they may have nailed it! Also on the show we talk about whether or not we believe in numerology, we spoke to two amazing guys about their quest to prove that America isn’t as negative as the media portrays, and Connie wins a bet and gets to buy some new sunglasses! All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
This morning on the show we had the pleasure of talking to two adventurers who are traveling across the country to prove that America isn’t as negative as the media portrays. Andrew is currently road tripping around all 50 states with his New Zealander friend, Josh, and his dog, Piper.
Spandex is not a right, it's a privilege. That is a quote from one listener's mother this morning when we were talking about whether or not you get uncomfortable seeing people in spandex. What is your thought on the subject? Also on the show we talked about Curtis' crazy neighborhood parties, we took a hilarious Buzzfeed quiz, and we learned the hardest word to spell for Michiganders. All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
When you play yard games with a group of people, do you find that the owners of the game are usually better at it then everyone else? Curtis and his neighbors had a yard game palooza over the weekend and each family would dominate at the game they brought. So one listener suggested that you find a game that everyone is bad at for a tiebreaker. Great idea! Also on the show Curtis wonders why their are so many Russians at the waterpark, we talked about people getting angry about a girls only screening of Wonder Woman, and Curtis dresses up like a camp counselor. All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
If you missed it live today, you might want to check out the video on our Facebook page. Curtis drank and #1 meal from McDonalds. Steve blended together some french fries, a Big Mac, and a vanilla milkshake for Curtis to enjoy during Steve's Stories. It looked like sausage gravy and tasted like salty Thousand Island Dressing! Gross! Also on the show we talked about Connie's new Bob Seger Dress, we asked each other if we would be willing to sell our cars and Uber everywhere, and Curtis tells a story about how he once saved a stray cat! All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
Today was the day after our Adult Skip Day at the Whitecaps. Some of us felt fine today, others a little tired, and some even a tad bit hungover. No matter how we felt though, we absolutely LOVED hanging out with our listeners at the game yesterday! So Fun! Also on the show we talked about the remake of Dirty Dancing, Curtis teaches his daughter how to mow the lawn, and we learned that skydiving is insanely terrifying. All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
Somehow we got on to the topics of vests today and it TOOK OVER THE SHOW! What? Yeah, Curtis listed off all of the different types of vests and we started playing pretend dress up! Now Steve is planning a "Which vest should I wear?" quiz for tomorrow too. Oh joy! Also on the show we talked about the new season of The Bachelorette, we found out a waitress got fired for sleeping with Orlando Bloom, and we told everyone some really bad financial advice. All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
It's officially "Graduation Party Season!" Curtis noticed this over the weekend when neighbors all over his subdivision were hosting open houses. One listener called in to talk about her graduation party experience and it sounded like her mom was trying to steal the show! Also on the show Curtis showed everyone how dirty his feet were, Connie's cat discovered how tasty dental floss is, and Connie and Curtis did a bunch of gardening this weekend! All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
Today on Steve's Stories, he talked all about Honey Bees. You will be astonished at how important these little critters are to the modern world!
We sure did open up a can of worms this morning while trying to figure out why Curtis was smelling toast as he drove by Calvin College the other day. Connie and Steve had no idea what he was talking about, but then our listeners came to the rescue with their suggestions! Turns out they were all pretty wrong and we still don't know why. Also on the show we found out that Wesco has the best donuts in the world, we pondered whether or not dunce caps could be used in schools anymore, and Connie tells a story about getting a lap dance from some greasy chip-n-dales. All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
This morning Steve made a very interesting traffic report. He reported that their was a killer ostrich on the loose. We aren't quite sure what happened to the ostrich, but we do know that it was reported on by several news stations but no one got a photo. So keep your eyes out for a large land bird. Also on the show we creeped all over Taylor Swift's Instagram page, we learned all about flag etiquette just in time for Memorial Day, and we learned of a festival in Japan that rivals Tulip Time in Holland! All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!

He will be with us for the remainder of the summer and then he will be graduating this December! Also on the show we learned that this is the Summer of Connie because of all the concerts she has planned, Curtis considers purchasing a pair of "Romphims", and we got an update from the Humane Society on our Sinko-De-Mayo fundraiser! All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
The statement "don't eat your pets" might seem pretty clear to most people, but sometimes you have a farm animal as a pet and they end up on the dinner table. We talked about this topic today and Steve shared a story of his friend's pet cow "Snickers". Also on the show we asked if your spouse dresses up sexy for you, we announced the Movies in the Park lineup for 2017, and Connie decides that she wants to be a mama duck. All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
On Friday of last week Connie was talking about how she wants a Michigan shaped Adirondack Chair but they were too expensive. Well we found out from some listeners how to get them relatively cheap, but now Connie's hubby Dan doesn't want any because he says their is no room by the pool. What to do!? We had listeners call in to suggest some loopholes on how Connie can get her chair! Also on the show we talked about the 5th/3rd River Bank Run, we talked all about our Mother's Day weekends, and we took a quiz that attempted to guess our haircuts. All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
Steve made a very humorous error with one of his blogs this morning. He was reporting on the semi-truck accident near Holland yesterday that resulted in 77,000 pounds of hot DOGS to be spilled out onto the highway. Well, he wrote dongs instead of dogs. You'll enjoy our conversation about this error. Also on the show we talked a lot about adirondack chairs, Connie's mom gets involved in her love life, and Steve gives us the history of esports. All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
We were an absolute mess today! Connie's shoe buckle was messing with her chair, Curtis' v-neck t-shirt wasn't deep enough and Steve was wearing too many sweaters. Luckily we aren't seen by that many people this early in the morning so we were able to get through it A-OK. Also on the show, Curtis spits on Connie for like the 100th time, we heard one happy and one sad story about prom, and we found out that Steve likes putting things in his mouth. What things? Just things, he says. All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
Today Steve let slip that his wife does not like the scarf Connie got him. Steve started to say she didn't like it, stopped talking and realized that his wife was technically insulting a gift Connie gave him... But it was too late! He committed a "Freudian Scarf Slip!" Also on the show we wrapped up the submission period for the NKOTB Lip Sync Contest, we found out Curtis' daughter starts drivers training this summer, and we found out that the amount of money the "Cash me outside" girl makes is sickening... All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
Many things Curtis said today made Steve furrow his brow. First Curtis said he could never own a stationary bike or a treadmill because he doesn't have anything to wear. Huh? Then he talks about how he likes to drink the ham water. What!? Also on the show we found out that the end of the world would be a very happy time, American Idol returns to TV, and we have trouble doing Curtis' daughters homework. All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
It's that time of year when soccer is wrapping up for Curtis' daughters just in time for the family to get ready for summer soccer. After a game on Friday night, Curtis, his daughters, and the team were looking for a place to eat dinner when they came across a buffet... Well, turns out the buffet was minutes away from closing when they arrived and in the middle of the meal the waiter said "we closed 40 minutes ago..." Do you think that is rude or appropriate? Also on the show we talked about our NKOTB contest to win FRONT ROW TICKETS, we took a Buzzfeed quiz about our love life, and we learned that sitting in the hot tub could be as good as exercising! All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
Heyo, it's Cinco de Mayo! Or as Curtis might have you believe, "Sinko-de-Mayo!" That's because we convinced Connie to take a bet today that involves her sticking her face in a sink full of mayo! We made a Go Fund Me page and are asking people to donate money to get Connie to get mayo faced! We set our goal at $5,000 and all of the money is going to the Humane Society of West Michigan! Also on the show Steve shared a touching story about how he gave the last 2 slices of toast to his wife last night, we learned all about morel mushrooms, and Curtis learned some tips on how to earn more money at his garage sale! All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!

Also on the show we found out that you should never buy things for your spouse because chances are they won't like it, Steve revealed that he doesn't want his AC on until it's 90 degrees, and Russ stops by to give us tickets to a Tigers game that is rained out! All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
This morning we ruined dryer sheets for all vegans. It turns out that many dryer sheets are coated with animal fats to help the scent come out during the dryer cycle on your laundry. Steve also spent some time reading a list of other products that might contain animal parts. Also on the show we ask the question "are donuts breakfast food?", we sang happy birthday to Steve's wife, and we learned an interesting fact about baby boomers. All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!

All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!

Also on the show we talked about disabled pets, Steve gives Curtis his HBO password, and we coin the nickname "butt pudding". All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!

Also on the show we talked about how a grape becomes a raisin, we learned that Taylor Swift might have a secret message in one of her songs, and Curtis told us the correct way to let your hair dry. All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
Today Steve got a little over sharey on the radio. First he shared a story about how he accidentally injured a bunch of baby rabbits, then he told a very awkward story about getting denied by a waitress when he creepily asked her out. OK, Steve we didn't need to know that stuff! Also on the show we had Holly visit to tell us about BISSELL Pet Foundation's Empty The Shelter adoption event, we learned why old people like to us a P.O. Box at the Post Office, and Curtis quizzes us on a list of celebrities' real names. All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!

Also on the show we talked about the year anniversary of Prince's death, Curtis talks about him volunteering at his daughter's high school, and Todd Chance joined us to talk about his next Daddy Daughter Time event next week! Today's show can best be summed up by listener Matt's text to us at the end of the show. All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!

That's partly because Steve's wife is stronger than he is. Also on the show we talked about that crazy glass floor pool on the top of a highrise, we learned that Steve can't eat spaghetti like a normal adult, and we all watched a giraffe give birth. All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
There was a story in the news today about a community Easter Egg Hunt being cancelled. The event was cancelled because parents pretty much ruined it for the kids by being too pushy and stealing eggs from children. We thought that was kinda crazy, but then Curtis told a similar story where his 2-year-old daughter got talked down to for taking an egg that her baby was crawling towards. That conversation quickly lead to us talking about whether or not it's okay to scold other people's children. Also on the show we talked a lot about finding hair in your food, we found out that Curtis might be pregnant, and we tried to find Curtis' oldest daughter a summer job! Also on the show we talked about how Curtis still acts like a teenager, Connie reminisces about the summer she worked at a putt-putt course, and Steve admits that cartoon movies sometimes make him cry. All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!

If you haven't noticed, we get pretty brutal when someone mispronounces a word during the show. We never really let it go, and will continually joke around about the mispronunciation. Also on the show we learn a little bit about the game "ROBLOX", we talk pretty in depth about our favorite perfume and cologne scents, and Curtis tries to pick a white nose hair. All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
Both Connie and Steve have flown recently, so when we brought up the fact that TSA agents are getting a little more "personal" with their pat downs, they each had their own take on the new policy. All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
We were talking about assisted living residents today and got a call from a listener about volunteering. It turns out that most nursing homes and assisted living homes rely pretty heavily on their volunteer staff to improve the quality of life for their residents. The homes have nursing staffs, but often times those people won't have enough time in their day to give everyone at the home the attention they need, so volunteers are the perfect way to give extra attention to each resident. Also on the show we talked about a hilarious viral video from John Ball Zoo, Curtis' daughters spent the weekend rearranging their rooms, and we learned of 6 myths that need to be busted about relationships. All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!

Also on the show we talked about Connie's new haircut and everyone's reaction to it, we also discussed whether or not karma exists, and Curtis acts out what being stuck on a roof would be like. All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
Today we talked about how both Curtis and Steve were on local versions of Dancing with the Stars. Curtis did his contest in Wisconsin and took home 1st place and Steve did his right here in Grand Rapids and took home 4th place. To be fair though, Curtis only had 2 other competitors, Steve had over a dozen... Also on the show we talk about the real Dancing with the Stars, we all picked out a song that makes you cry when you hear it, and Curtis gives a rundown of his daughter's allowances. All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
We are back, and better than ever! Or at least that is always Connie's hope that we will improve as a show when we return from a vacation. Sadly, this has never been the case. We are still the same old show, but that's still pretty good, right? On the show today we talked about an elderly Michigan couple accidently being flown to New York instead of Grand Rapids (they were actually supposed to be on Connie's flight home from Florida), we heard about Curtis' trip to Michigan's oldest bar, and we learned the most popular dog breads over the last 50 years. All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!

Also on the show we talked about Connie's housesitter, we discussed clipping your toenails in heavy detail, and we looked into the rules of prom. All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
Today we learned that in high school it's only cool if you use one strap on your backpack, but in college two is the way to go. Connie and Curtis had never heard of this phenomenon before, but Steve was very adamant that this was a thing and listeners of all ages came to his rescue by saying that they all experienced the same thing growing up. Have you heard of the one/two strap backpack debate? Also on the show we mispronounce Chorizo a bunch, we learned the average age that kids start to swear, and Curtis tells us 8 places that are great for a solo vacation. All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!

A Scrum Master. Turns out it is more or less a project manager, but it supposedly pays really well. Well, that was until a Scrum Master called into the show and said she made about half that much... Whoops! Also on the show Steve dives into cyber security, we talk about paying it forward, and we get another update on the Bachelor! All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
Today we found out many things about many topics because we had a lot of questions. First we talked a lot about the damage caused by the winds and wondered when power was going to be restored. Then we wondered who had Reuben Bites for sale in Grand Rapids and then, just like magic, Reuben Bites showed up in our studio from Tom the bartender at the Pickle Back Bar! And finally we wondered if anyone still used pagers. Turns out most people in the healthcare industry still have them. Also on the show we talked about the U of M plane crash, we mentioned one of Curtis' favorite cowboy movies, and Russ stopped by to say hello. All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!

Connie has been wearing perfume for her entire adult life, but never has she experienced a perfume day like today. While getting read this morning, Connie sprayed her perfume right as she took a huge breath and inhaled the entire cloud of perfume. After a few minutes of choking, she felt the effects all morning. Steve's wife, Brittainy, came back from her week in Florida on Friday of last week and they both were so excited to be reunited! But the happiness didn't last forever because they lost each other at Meijer the following day for over 30 minutes! Also on the show we talked about our toast preferences, Steve figures out what acid wash jeans are, and we have a bathroom attendant feed us his nuts. All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
If you haven't heard, there's 500,000 gallons of wastewater getting dumped into the Grand River in Grand Haven each day. A sewage line broke about 2 weeks ago and the city is frantically trying to get it fixed. Also on the show we talk about the Oscars, we find out the science behind flirting, and we found out what types of drinks people like to put ice in. Kobe is the sweetest dog when people are around, but as soon as he has the house to himself he is a hellion! This guy ate the majority of a 5 lbs. bag of cat food in one sitting. As with most of our shows, Curtis will pose a question to Connie and Steve and ask for their response. There is a good chance that these questions he asks are interesting or funny, but occasionally you'll get ones that no one wants to answer. Not because they are too personal or something, but because they are just kinda dumb. Today's question was "Do you put your glasses face up or face down in the cupboard?" Not a horrible question, but when you talk about it for 10 minutes... Well, that's not really necessary. Sometimes I suck half the sucker, then bite the other half, Curtis! Also on the show Steve told us the history of St. Valentine's Day, we talk a little bit about co-workers we've dated, and Curtis cannot wait to see 50 Shades Darker. It's Tiara Tuesday on a Friday! Today Connie, Curtis and Steve all wore their tiara's to the office and encouraged everyone else in West Michigan to do the same! So if you woke up, put on a tiara, and went to work, you still have time to post a pic of yourself on our Facebook page! Also on the show we discussed how we take showers, Curtis talked about his beef stew fail, and Steve did Steve's Stories on how Football came to surpass Baseball as our National Pastime! All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
Interview with Jerome from the Masen James Bakery about their appearance at Dessert Wars 2017!
Interview with Jim from the Wealthy Street Bakery about their appearance at Dessert Wars 2017!
Today's show can be summed up by only a single word. That word is "oblivious". I won't bore you as to why that is the title of today's show, because as you listen it will become painfully obvious. Also on the show we talked about how Buzzfeed is attacking T Swift with an opinion piece, we had our very first Dessert Wars contestant on the show, and we argue about whether or not it's OK to take home a doggy bag from a buffet. All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
After a long hiatus, Steve has finally done it! He made another quiz! This quiz will ask you questions about the big game, your friends, and food and will determine which big game snack you should bring to the party. Connie and Curtis took the quiz and they got deviled eggs and buffalo wings, respectively. Take the quiz for yourself and let us know what you got! Also on the show we asked the question "If you could only have 1 TV channel forever, which would it be?", we learned how to properly cook eggs, and we found out that you should dust your house plants. All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
It has been a little over a year since the first time it happened, but it happened again. I swear that Curtis just gets that craving every January... Steve kissed Curtis again. The first time he did it, he had a little bit of hesitation, but this time around he just went right for it. Both times Steve kissed Curtis he commented on just how soft his cheeks were. They are terrific! Also on the show we talked a lot about the snow getting ready to fall tonight, we learned about 10 different things you should not put down your garbage disposal, and Connie wants to go to Paris! All of that, Curtis Whatever, and much more on today's show.
Connie found an article that claims that being nude is good for your mental health. We talked about a positive body image and learned that Steve used to wear a shirt in the pool because he was embarrassed about being too skinny and Connie remembers friends doing the same thing but because they thought they were too big. So we learned that the more often you are nude, the more accepting you become of your body image! Also on the show, Steve told us the history of Grand Rapids, Curtis bought some new shoes, and we checked out the brand new Taylor Swift video! All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
Not sure why I made this, but it's pretty fun IMO. It's a combination of Curtis sniffing his nose, Steve making bird noises, Homer Simpson imitating ocean noises, and then actual ocean sounds. Why? BECAUSE! That's WHY! - Steve
Today Connie revealed a struggle that her and Curtis have to deal with everyday at work. What time do we leave? Curtis is ready to go the second that the show ends, but Connie knows that our job is a J-O-B! So that includes doing other work outside of the morning show as well. Listen to their arguments and their solution in today's show. Also on the show we found out that you can hear the ocean if you put your ear up to Curtis' nose, we tried to figure out who made a mess of our microwave, and Curtis baked a cake. All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
Why is it that people get a little randy while visiting their parents? Connie and Steve both talked about when they visit their parents with their SOs, they get a little randy. Nothing ever happens, but they sure want it too! Maybe it's because it's viewed as taboo? Also on the show we talked about the pros and cons of sucking toes, we found the funniest marquee in Grand Rapids and Curtis finds out which One Direction singer he would be. All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
We waited until just before 8am to start talking about the Bachelor today, but it seemed like once Curtis opened that box up we just couldn't shut up about it. Maybe it had something to do with the fact that last night Nick too the Bachelor girls to his hometown in Wisconsin, which happened to be the very same town that Curtis' wife grew up in...? That is probably it. Also on the show we talked about how much fat is in a portion of prime rib, we found out the surface temperatures of every non-gaseous planet in the solar system, and we announced the 2017 Oscar Nominees! All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
Today Connie got completely grossed out and Curtis will definitely not be eating anything prepared in Steve's kitchen for a while. We got on the topic of hair in our food today and discussed about how if it's your own hair or hair from someone in your family, it's not THAT bad. At least not as bad as a random's hair. But then Steve started to talk about animal hair in his food and that's when things got a little gross... Also on the show we talked about how Curtis picked up a hot baby sitter at the bar, Connie and Steve recap Friday's Presidential Inauguration Ceremony, and Curtis did a little moping about the Packers losing on Sunday. All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
Today is a very unique day. It is a day that will witness the peaceful transfer of power as Barack Obama leaves The Office of The Presidency and Donald Trump enters it. To commemorate this event, Steve did a very special Steve's Stories that focused on some of the most notable Presidential Inaugurations in United States history. Also on the show we talked a lot about the NFL playoffs (Go Pack Go!), we found the most perfect mac n cheese recipe of all time for Connie, and we heard some hilarious stories from listeners about their airbnb mishaps! All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
So we have this magic little button in the studio that is known as the "Dump Button". This little magic button lets us get rid of anything bad that was said on the air. So when you listen to us, you are actually listening to an 8 second delay. That's so if we say something bad (or a caller does) we can press the button and it will remove the delay and the last 8 seconds won't go out over the air. Today we used that button... Lucky for you, the part that was dumped, is still in the Podcast! Can you find it? Also on the show we talked about Dessert Wars coming up in a few weeks, we asked what our dream jobs are, and Curtis creeped out a bunch of people at the library. All of that, Curtis' whatever, and much more on today's show.
No matter who you are, you have to love a mothering mommy. That's the type of mom that is so motherly that her mothering tendencies often spill over to other people's children. Connie was talking about her mom today and revealed that she is one of those mothers and her friends absolutely love having a second mommy! Also on the show we dove deep into the secret behind cashing checks at liquor stores, we checked in with Connie's cooking when Steve gives a review of the leftover pot roast he gave her, and we all decided that we were going to get Burger King for lunch. All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
Connie freaked everyone out this morning by announcing that people can steal your fingerprints from photos you post online. So that awesome picture of you downtown giving the peace sign can be used against you to frame you for murder! Well, it probably won't be that bad, but the fact that people can steal your fingerprints from photos is still pretty scary! Also on the show we had Russ stop by and talk about driver's training, Connie found an amazing video of a shirtless man cooking some bacon, and Curtis takes a sleep preference quiz on Buzzfeed. All of that, Curtis' Whatever and much more on today's show!
What's the best way to kick off the week? If you answered a pajama party, then you are correct! Curtis told us about a pajama party Katy Perry threw over the weekend for her boyfriend, Orlando Bloom. Katy Perry had special onsies made with a big picture of Orlando on them for people to wear. We all agree that pajamas parties are amazing and people need to do them more often. Also on the show we talked a lot about the NFL playoffs because Curtis LOVES the Packers, we also discovered that The Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus is calling it quits, and we debated the most popular pizza topping. All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
Have you ever wondered what the pink and white flavors of jelly bean were? Well, we jumped into the debate and found out that white is usually pineapple and that pink is actually strawberry even though many people still think it is some sort of cotton candy type flavor. Also on the show we talked about how a man from the UP fell and broke his neck only to have his dog keep him warm for over 20 hours while he waited to be rescued, we learned that a lot of our listeners look into their neighbors houses, and we discovered that most people don't move their furniture when they vacuum. All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
Forget calling it a snow day, let's call it an ice day! This morning was dominated by talking about how crappy the roads were and how everything was covered in a sheet of ice! Heck, even a fire truck flipped on it's side this morning by breaking too hard while responding to an accident! Also on the show we learned all about the etiquette of eating (or in Curtis' case, drinking) soup, we found out how to save a ton of money each year by simply only buying what you absolutely need, and we gave away another 4-pack of tickets to see the Globetrotters! All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
We found out that the West Michigan Whitecaps are hiring mascots for the 2017 season, so we figured Curtis would be a good fit. Well, he actually had mascot experience, so he shared that story with us. And then we had a listener call in to tell her story of working as a mascot for the Whitecaps over 15 years ago! Also on the show we found out about a cat that got stuck in a garage door, we learned all about hot sauce, and we got put in our place by a listener. All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
Who really sends thank you notes anymore? If it isn't a wedding or some other big occasion, do people even send them after they get a gift. Curtis brought the question up on today's show and it seems like most people just completely skip the thank you note process. How about you? Do you send them? Also on the show we talked about getting used to smells, we learned that our friends, The Accidentals, got a record deal, and we discussed things that women do that men wish they could do to. All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
Is it just me or does today's show seem like it's loaded with euphemisms? During the beginning of the show we got onto an odd conversation and Steve was extremely confused and frantically trying to google what Connie and Curtis were talking about. Also on the show we talked about chipped teeth (and then Curtis accidently punched himself in the face), Steve gave us a quiz, and we learned why you shouldn't ski with a backpack. All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
If you haven't had a housecall that resulted in the service working using your restroom and then feeding you a Danish, you need to find a company that does one! We got on one of the weirdest conversations we've heard on the show today and it involved cheese and blueberry filled Danish... Also on the show Steve talked about being nervous around his bosses, we learned of an amazing little island in Virginia that is hard to pronounce and filled with wild horses, and we found out that a bunch of big box stores are closing in Michigan! All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
Connie almost killed her husband, Dan! She almost got him with the ole "back seat meat" attack... You know the one, where you leave some ground beef in your back seat for over 24 hours and then you cook it anyway? Yeah, gross. Also on the show Curtis talks about a leg pain that he has, we found out exactly how long it takes for eggs to go bad, and Curtis found a box of old baseball cards. All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
We are finally back from what seemed like an eternity of a vacation! Today was a big show because we had to cover everything that happened for the last two weeks in our own lives as well as in the news. Sadly, we had more celebrity deaths before The New Year, we discussed all of our New Year's Resolutions, and we talked all about Mariah Carey's New Year's Eve debacle. Also on the show we asked the question "which celebrity would you want to move in next door?", we got right back to jinxing one another, and we talked all about the Lions and the Western Michigan Broncos. All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
Curtis found a list of 10 ways a woman can appear classier than she actually is. Connie aced the list and shows everyone that she is the classiest person on the show. Connie then asked Curtis if they had a list of 10 ways a man can appear classier than he actually is. They did and both Curtis and Steve failed miserably. Also on the show we talk all about the frigid weather, Connie gets her brand new boots, and we learn about some restrictions about what types of costumes people can wear to the new Star Wars movie. All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
We tried to figure out how many pull ups our show could do between Connie, Curtis, Steve, and Intern Bethany. We settled on maybe being able to do a 1/2 of a pull up. Steve said he can do a single pull up if he was allowed to jump. So there is that... Also on the show we found out our Elf Names, we talked about happy Christmas stories from Meijer, and we found out that Steve's wife made it safely to work because he forgot to put his phone on silent. All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
Curtis asked a question today that almost had everyone stumped. He asked, "If you could have a chef, maid, or driver who would work for you, for free, which would you choose?" Things got a little bit weird when Curtis said that the maid would have to live with you, so Connie and Steve went off the deep end a little bit with their answers. Also on the show we talked about Curtis' Family Feud board game from the 1980's, Connie told stories about playing doctor with her older brother while he was in medical school, and we found out that Steve is a momma's boy. All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
We had an amazing surprise this morning! Our newest intern, Hanna, brought in gifts for everyone on the show! The gifts included: homemade red velvet cookies, a handwritten letter, candies, and booze! She already knows us all to well! Also on the show we talked a little bit more about our upcoming office potluck on Friday, Steve took a Buzzfeed quiz to determine if he'd still be married in 2017, and Curtis got Christmased by his Secret Santa! All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
Today's Steve's Stories was in honor of World Techno Day! He talked all about the origins of techno (which happened in Detroit in the early 80's) and we got to hear the very fist Steve's Stories ever, way back from his college days in 2002.
Connie mentioned yesterday that she was going to start doing a "State of the Relationship Address" with her husband, Dan. It's not really an address, it's more of a conversation, but it's purpose is to air any grievances that the two are having in their relationship and to work it out before it becomes a problem. Good idea, Connie! Also on the show Steve tells the history of Detroit Techno music, Curtis reveals that he remembers seeing his parents nude when he was a child, and Wendy Wheeler stopped by to talk about Connie & Curtis Christmas Kids! All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
Steve's Very First Steve's Stories From College: History by Curtis Gross - REMAX United
Today, like most days, Curtis makes fun of Steve, this time about his blogs for 2016. Also, on the show, we discussed all of the lake effect snow, we found out all of the rules for the national spelling bee, and we discovered intern Bethany was a rugby star in college. In addition, we received our highest bid for one of the most popular toys, Hatchimal. And as always, Curtis' Whatever and much more on today's show.
Curtis and Steve both had a pretty bad case of the mush-mouth this morning. So much so, that Curtis was exclaiming that he had mouth broth. Not sure what he was actually trying to say, but whatever it was, picturing him making mouth broth was in fact much funnier. Also on the show we talked about the huge amount of lake effect snow we will be getting over the next few days, we found out that Curtis waters down his hot chocolate, and we announced some headliners for LaughFest 2017! All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
Today we kicked off our 3-day long Hatchimal Charity Auction! Meijer hunted down an elusive Hatchimal egg and we are auctioning it away on the show to raise money for Kid's Food Basket! The high bid so far (as of noon on Dec 6) is $197.50! Pretty clever bid, if you ask us! Also on the show we had Wendy Wheeler come by from the Kent County DHS to talk to us about Connie & Curtis Christmas Kids, Connie and Steve got really excited about the upcoming lake effect snow, and we decided that if you are going to pee in a store, you need to do it in isle #1! Get it? Pee in isle #1... HAHAHAHA (Steve's joke). All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
Curtis was talking about the power outages that happened last evening because of the snow and Steve exclaimed that his power was still out. Steve has never been to Curtis' house and as far as Curtis knows, Steve doesn't know where he lives. That's when Steve starts to explain that he has been taking notes when Curtis talks about his house and he is pretty sure he has narrowed it down to a specific sub-division... Creepy! Also on the show Curtis asks whether or not Y-Turns are illegal, Connie professes her love for cheese plates, and we talk all about the awesome snowfall! All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
Curtis L-O-V-E-S Christmas, but he won't admit it! Today on the show Connie did a little observing and sleuthing and noticed that Curtis has been talking about Christmas and Christmas related things all week! Even more so than Connie, and we all know how much she loves the holiday! Also on the show we asked if Curtis thought he could survive out in the wilderness by himself, Steve explains the science behind FOMO in Steve's Stories, and we define what "Puzzle Victory Intercourse" is... Well, Curtis explains what he think that might be. All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
Today we had a very long discussion about the most popular baby names from 2016. That discussion turned into asking our listeners to call in with their unusual baby names. And we had a lot of people call in with some very cool and very unique names for themselves and their children! Also on the show we checked out a time-lapse map of Grand Rapids that showed 30 years of development, we found out that their is a toilet plunger for every occasion, and we discovered that people who wear their left headphone on their right ear, and vice versa, are just plain wrong! All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
Christmas lights are a thing of joy and wonder during the holiday season. As people visit family for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and all the rest, they get to enjoy those beautiful lights on homes all December long. Well, unless you are in Curtis' house. It has been a non-stop fight about Christmas lights all season long and we talk A LOT about it on today's show! Also on the show we get Steve's 90-Day Snowfall Forecast, we listed off some things that our spouse's don't do perfectly, and Curtis justifies wearing sandals in the winter. All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
Curtis found a study that claimed that people had greater cognitive ability after having ice cream for breakfast. But after reading a little bit closer, we discovered that the study actually just enforced the idea that people are smarter after eating anything for breakfast. So, you can have ice cream for breakfast, but you'll be no better off than someone who ate a muffin (except you got ice cream.) Also on the show we had Wendy on to talk about C&C Christmas Kids, Steve gave a list of 15 things that make you appear smarter than you actually are, and Curtis killed a fake spider for Connie. All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
Curtis got to talking about skinny jeans on today's show and Steve about blew a gasket! He HATES skinny jeans! Now, that doesn't mean he will call you out for wearing them, but he cannot stand wearing them himself. They are far too tight, making it very difficult to perform a lunge. Steve even went on to ask if people with poor circulation wear them as "medicated pants." Also on the show we talked all about our Thanksgiving vacations, we recapped the Gilmore Girls episodes (#FinalFourWords), and Connie filled up her DVR with Hallmark Christmas Movies. All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
It was a wild and wacky "Drinksgiving" on today's show! (We found a few alternate names for Thanksgiving Eve and we liked that the best.) We had the annual Gobble Off and the winner had quite the gobble (including a rather dark backstory to go along with it) and we talked a lot about Thanksgiving and Black Friday! Also on the show Steve did a special edition of Steve's Stories by giving us the history of Black Friday, Connie gave us tips on how to eat as much as possible on Thanksgiving, and Curtis listed the cities in the United States that got the most snow (a lot of them were in Michigan!) All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
On the Eve of Thanksgiving we have a tradition. The Connie & Curtis Gobble Off! Enjoy our three contestants as they try to Gobble their heads off for some great prizes!

Also on the show Connie talked about her weekend in South Bend, Indiana, Curtis went over a list of things you can and can't bring on a plane this holiday season, and we all took turns picking our noses on camera! All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
It's Friday, so you know that means it's time for Steve's Stories! Today's story involved the science behind full moons and people going crazy. Turns out their isn't any scientific evidence that supports that theory! Also on the show we talked about how you can turn a Cheeto into a torch, Danielle called in and described what she thought we looked like before she ever saw a picture, and Curtis gives us a mock 2020 election and asks us who we would vote for. All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
The Lions have a fight song! Bet you didn't know that! Or did you? Connie and Curtis had no idea they had a fight song, but Steve played it for them and they loved it! Also on the show we did a lot of talking about turkeys, we asked if men were less manly than they were a few generations ago, and Curtis complained about the Salvation Army Bell Ringers. All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
MeeeeeWOW goes the cat! We talked A LOT about dogs and cats today. Also on the show we found out that Curtis doesn't know how to turn his headlights on, Steve gets all sorts of aggravated after Connie and Curtis gave away tickets for New Kids On The Block and asked for the 95th CALLER... TWICE, and we did a little talking about celebrities and their drug use. All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
Steve went on a tirade this morning about his ankle cut socks. His wife, Brittainy, was nice enough to notice that he needed new socks, and bought him some. But! Steve didn't like the socks she bought, he claimed that ankle cut socks are for the summer and that he needs crew cut socks for all other seasons. Where do you stand on "Sockgate?" Do you wear ankle cut in the winter? Also on the show Curtis burned his uvula, Connie put up her Christmas tree, and no one saw the supermoon! All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
Much debate erupted on the show today over whether or not the "Supermoon" was really that super... Steve claims that it looked pretty super to him, but Connie and Curtis thought that it was barely bigger at all! Luckily, a listener had Steve's back and called in to say that the earlier you see the moon in the evening, the bigger it is. Peak looking time is right as the moon is cresting over the horizon. Also on the show Russ made his triumphant return from his week long vacation for a very interesting "Russerview", Connie and Steve shared some stories about accidents their pets have been having recently, and Curtis told us that a brand new Kardashian baby already has a Twitter account. All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
Hanging out in bed all day is pretty amazing and everyone should give it a try if they can! Steve was talking about how him and his wife had the laziest day ever last Sunday and we asked listeners if they've ever done the same. Turns out that most people have! Also on the show we take another look at how Steve's "Old Timey" vote is going (more people like it than don't!), Steve's Stories focused on the history of Veteran's Day, and we contemplated whether or not a Christmas diet was worth it. All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
Curtis dropped his 15 point plan on how to make yourself happy this morning. Well, he actually just stole a list of "15 Things You Should Give Up To Be Happy" and claimed that he lived by these rules. Either way, some of these ideas are pretty cool! Also on the show we debate as to whether or not Steve should continue to say "Did someone say 'Old Timey!?'", we learned how you can have strong forearms like Popeye, and we talked about the dangers of distracted walking and driving. All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
About half of the country is celebrating while the other half is struggling to accept the reality that Donald J. Trump will be the 45th President of the United States. The election was definitely top of mind this morning and we talked quite a bit about it during the show. However, we didn't ONLY talk about the election... We also found a great recipe for jellyfish, we got all the best hair washing tips from a professional stylist, and Steve tells us all the difference between a permutation and a combination (combination locks are actually permutation locks). All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
Today we were on the road! Well, we were actually conveniently located next to the road at the Meijer C-Stop in Cascade. In addition to talking about all of the great things at the brand new gas station we also talked about how to cook a turkey, Curtis gave us a list of countries you can flee to after the election, and two adorable little girls had a chance to say hello on the radio! All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
What would you do if you were at the airport and someone whispered to you "Don't get on that plane!"? Would you just think it was a bad joke, or would you take the tipster seriously? We asked that question on today's show and listeners gave their insight as to what they would do. Also on the show we did some chatting about the election tomorrow, we found the absolute worst song from a political ad, and we hyped up our live show tomorrow from the Meijer C-Store in Cascade! All of that, Curtis Whatever, and much more on today's show!

Also on the show we talked about full-service gas stations, we learned about Steve's "hippy" period during college, and Connie announced that this week is the peak time to look at the fall foliage! Us Michiganders are among the luckiest in the country when viewing the fall colors. So beautiful! All of that, Curtis' Whatever, Steve's Stories, and much more on today's show!
If you have stinky feet and need some life hacks for the day, definitely check out today's C&C TV. Connie starts off telling us how she sprays rubbing alcohol on her shoes so that they don't smell. We then go into talking about essential oils, and learn that some oils are edible. There is also breaking news today, Curtis actually agreed with Connie! Also, is rock candy just tar? All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
Curtis told a very sad story today about his family's Christmas traditions. He told us that everyone in his family buys their own gifts earlier in the year and then Katie takes them away from everyone and wraps them up. The family doesn't get to see/have their gifts (that they bought for themselves!) until Christmas morning. Really? What the heck!? Also on the show we went through a list of things that stress you out, we talked to Jeff Musial the animal guy that will be at Kidabaloo, and we look back in time at the many different faces of our office building. All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
First off, if you haven't watched today's C&C TV, you need to check that out as a reference for what I will be mentioning here... Connie and Curtis started throwing stuff at each other in the middle of the show today. Spiders and screws were flying around the studio and no one seemed to care. Other than that, we also talked about some normal stuff today, I swear... On the show we found out what most people are not willing to say to their friends, we recapped all of our trick-or-treat experiences from last night, and we let you know the scoop about checking in at Standing Rock on Facebook. All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
Double, double toil and trouble; Fire burn, and caldron bubble. It's Halloween and we had quite the spooky show today! Curtis dressed up as Wolverine, Steve went as Ron Jeremy (actually he was Tom Selleck, but everyone thought he just looked creepy) and Connie went as a Connie! Also on the show we found out that most "close door" buttons in elevators are fake, we recapped the Michigan Vs Michigan State game, and we learned about the yummy world of Buzz Balls! All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
Curtis got a case of mush mouth today when he was trying to spit out the phrase "Baby oil legs". We were talking about the viral photo that shows a woman's legs that are covered in paint. At a quick glance it looks like the paint is actually light being reflected and that her legs are just really shiny! Not the case... Also on the show we talked about Arby's new Venison sandwich, we answered people's texts all morning, and Connie found out that she can watch an ABBA concert on her new phone in virtual reality! All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!

Also on the show, our intern, Matt, disclosed something some people might consider "unusual" about his relationship, Curtis also stuck ice cubes in his armpits, and we gave you some tips on how to survive the heat this week. All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more!
One listener told us that today's show sounded like a Friday show because we constantly found ourselves off the rails and outta control. You know what we call that type of show here at Channel 95-7? A good show! It all started with a nice little story about eating cheese on a paper plate in the pool and then it headed down the road to the great T Swift debate, and finally we wrapped it all back around to Pokemon GO. Also on the show, we listed off all of the berry festivals here in Michigan, we found out that Steve might be participating in a "spelling beer", and we took a step back from our mics and gave you a taste of some old timey radio! All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
Oh Mondays... How we loathe thee. It's Monday and it's time to start a hot and humid week. Today on the show we talked about the windy weather we had over the weekend, we dove deep into the Taylor Swift, Kanye, and Kim K feud, and we found out that monkeys sometimes ride dogs in races. All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on the show!
Michigan corn on the cob season has begun! Even though the official sweet corn harvest dates for Michigan are probably not until next month, we have inside information that roadside stands in Hudsonville are already selling Michigan corn! Other than corn we talked about how to appropriately apply lotion to your family members, we discovered that their are tiedye peppers for sale at Meijer, and Curtis says he has a long weekend of day drinking ahead of him. All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
Today we asked a very important question. Are you #TeamTaylor or are you #TeamCalvin? I think we all know Steve's answer, but how about you? Also on the show we talked about possible running mates for Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton, we learned that Curtis is almost too old to party in Ibiza, and we discovered that Curtis' Mom doesn't cook Bush's Baked Beans! What the heck! Who eats cold beans? We also can't seem to escape the Pokemon GO craze as it gets brought up several times during the show today. All of that awesome stuff, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on the show!
Today on the show we were a little all over the place. Steve started off the show on a bad note by playing the wrong show introduction... Whoops! That's the second time he has done this since he got the job. Also on the show we talked a lot about the new Walhburgers restaurant opening in Detroit in a few weeks, we listed off some of the most popular wedding songs for couples' first dances, and we talked about Pokemon GO again! That game seems to be the most popular thing in the world right about now. All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on the show!
For some reason, Steve seemed to be the butt of a lot of jokes today. First we found out he has trouble undoing bras, then we got some chuckles out of fake teeth, and of course we mentioned he was a mamma's boy. Steve doesn't mind though, he pretty much stated that all those things are true! Also on the show we talked to Cathy from the BISSELL Pet Foundation about their secret purchases of puppies from the Barking Boutique in the Woodland Mall. In addition to all the aforementioned greatness, we also found out what flavors are in a Bomb Pop, we discovered some tips when ordering pizza delivery, and we learned how to correctly make the bed. All of that, Curtis' Whatever and much more on the show!
Today we realized that this was the first Monday we've had to work in close to a month. So, take the average person's dislike of Monday's and multiply that by 20. That's us today! On the show today Curtis lost his password for his company email, we listed some of the things men will say to women that make them mad, and we found out that today is free Slurpee day at 7/11! All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on the show!
Today we gave a much needed Chris Tucker update. What has Chris Tucker been up to lately? The answer is pretty much nothing other than being a standup comedian. However, their are rumors that Rush Hour 4 is set to start filming soon. Also on the show, Trudy from the Humane Society called in to weigh in on the new puppy boutique in the Woodland Mall, we check out the 10 worst songs that hit number 1 on the charts, and we find out that Michigan is home to two of the rudest cities in America. Curtis also had the chance to download the new Pokemon Go game on his phone and catch a Bulbasaur right here in the studio! All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
Today on the show we had SO MANY requests to hear Steve's rabies story that we had to air it again. Also on the show we found out that Cotton Candy Grapes are a thing, we heard about a lonely guy who stole a mannequin from a Hustler store just so he could take it home to cuddle, and we discovered that Connie used to launder money for her old radio station! (Not actually, at least we think not actually...) Curtis recapped his trip to the beach and told us that he went swimming even though it was a red flag day! All of that, Curtis' Whatever, and much more on today's show!
