The Rock Church is an untraditional, casual God-centered gathering focused on intense worship and solid, Biblical teaching. We meet Sundays at 10am at 6638 St Joe Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46835.

Once a year The Rock reserves a special week devoted to showcasing the student ministry and it's leadership. The goal of this service is to share with parents, friends, and family of the church's youth what a "youth group" service looks like.
As the highest authority in a Christian's life, the Bible speaks on many subjects and sexuality is no exception. As we examine the Scriptures and search for answers regarding our own sexuality and how God deals with sexual sin, we arrive at two concluding statements: 1) Sexuality is designed by God as a way to know God more fully; 2) Knowing God is designed by God as a way of guarding and guiding our sexuality.
"But he said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.' " (2 Corinthians 12:9, ESV)

His love is whole and unconditional for every one of His children, and to compare ourselves to others—or how He chooses to love others or show His grace in their life—actually belittles His love for us. In Jesus' message to the church of Ephesus in Revelation 2, he commends them for their hard work, their diligence, and their accomplishments. But he admonishes them for this: that they have lost their "first love," that they were just going through the motions of their faith, instead of seeking a special relationship with their Savior. As we continue in chapter 17 of Acts, Paul and Silas leave Luke behind and journey on to Thessalonica. Paul preaches in the synagog, but the message of Jesus upsets many of the Jewish authorities and one of the Jesus-followers is taken into custody.

Ezekiel 33:1-9
After a few major changes took place in the church, Pastor Roger felt the Holy Spirit's urging to explain publicly and openly to the congregation as much of the true story and motives behind those decisions as needed to understand the situation.
It is the responsibility of the shepherd of the church to guard the hearts and lives of the flock. This means being completely transparent and avoiding the possibility of scandal.
Sometimes our heavenly Father disciplines us through His Word, and sometimes we don't want to hear or accept what He knows is best for us. But we must be humble, allow ourselves to be humbled by Him, and follow the Holy Spirit at all costs.
With a sense of importance, Paul finishes his letter to the Galatians by encouraging them to refuse the yoke of slavery to the flesh and to the law. This is supported in the previous chapters as he urges “For you were called to freedom, brothers…” (5:13) and, “But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh...” (5:16) Do not allow yourself to desire any boasting in the flesh, instead seek to only to boast in the work of Christ.

Concerning Spiritual Gifts 1 Corinthians 12:1-11
Many leaders who believe and teach in the total immersion and baptizing power of the Holy Spirit will even tell you that Tongues is one of the gifts of the Spirit and that it is not necessarily for everyone.
The Enemy wants us to believe the lie that we cannot have or do not deserve this power that comes from the Holy Spirit.

Sherri's Story
Born into a tight, religious home, Sherri was taught all the ways that a Christian should live, but not about a relationship with Christ. As a young girl, she was the victim of a violent sexual crime that imprinted a burden on her heart. And she carried that burden with her for her entire life.
Through three marriages, an abortion, an abusive husband, drugs and more, Sherri searched for that freedom that only Jesus could bring.
