The title of the song could be a reflection on why this expression, "more of the same", usually doesn't have a positive connotation. It goes from "more of the same bullshit" to "eeh, more of the same i guess".
Monotone, metronome, and monotony could have their meanings farther apart; the peace of mind in the slow repetition of themes, revolving around the same principles and truth.

That or, y'know, the title is that because it follows the same basic, perhaps somewhat boring, formula of my other songs.
