REVELATION CHAPTER 8

8:1-Silence fills heaven for a half hour upon opening the seventh seal. (The quiet before the storm) The scroll is now completely open.

8:2- Seven Archangels standing before God with Seven Trumpets. Ready to pronounce judgement upon the Earth.

8:3-5-The aroma coming from the incense mixed with the prayers of the saints will elicit a response from God when an angel takes the Golden Censer filled with fire and hurls it to earth.

8:7-12- The first four trumpets will: burn a third of the earth, turn a third of the seas to blood, pollute a third of all drinkable water (the meteor called Wormwood- a bitter intoxicating, and poisonous herb.), and diminish a third of the light from heavenly bodies. (sun, moon, and stars)

8:13- After the first four trumpets have sounded an eagle will fly through the air proclaiming three woes upon the earth. These woes correspond to the last three trumpet blasts

Revelation Chapter 7: The 144,000/Tribulation Saints

7:1-3: Angel marks the 144,000 with a seal on their foreheads

7:4-8: The 144,000 will be Jews that receive Christ as savior during the first six seal judgements. 144,000 will represent the Twelve Tribes of Israel. 12,000 x 12=144,000

The Tribe of Joseph and Levi will replace the tribes of Ephraim and Dan because of their idolatry. God will protect the 144,000 during the remainder of the Tribulation no one will be able to harm them.

7:9: Tribulation Saints: People will come to know Christ as savior during the Tribulation and will be martyred for their faith. They will die and come before Jesus.

7:10-11: A great worship service takes place in heaven celebrating the faithfulness of Jesus to his people and for being the author of our salvation.

7:12-17: God promises that the Tribulation Saints will never have to endure the hardships that they suffered on earth and God promises to wipe their tears away.
