I always wondered why James says: For he who said, “Do not commit adultery,” also said, “Do not murder.” If you do not commit adultery but do murder, you have become a transgressor of the law... I mean why use adultery and murder together? why did he choose these two sins to make his point?

I take Jesus's words seriously when he says whoever keeps my words will never see death. in fact, there are examples in the Bible of people who walked so closely with God that they just became one with him and disappeared from the earth without dying, Enoch is one of them or Elijah who was ascended to Heaven almost in a way that Jesus did.
