I go over the final essay and say goodbye.
NOTE: every word (or half-word) above is a link to a song on youtube because I'm all about hiding easter eggs in things. :)
From Brad Pitt to Kim Jong Un and everything in between.
28 minutes of more rambling, with tons of "uh" and "um" thrown in.
I'll post the assignment tonight, but make sure you watch Brad Pitt playing Dr. Fauchi on SNL.
Going stir crazy. Made a quick 9 minute podcast with this week's assignment hidden in it to force people to listen (hopefully).
:)
I talk about various sources and give some examples. The talk really ends at 20 minutes, but around 21 minutes, I get distracted and ramble on for another 9 minutes until the actual program stopped recording (I didn't notice for about 4 minutes after that--as I was continuing down a tangent, where I just read a Wall Street Journal headline that Trump wants HIS signature on the stimulus checks (a great political advertising and self-promotion move), and I was pointing out that while the WSJ is trustworthy, they got the info from an anonymous source. What it will take for this to be believable is for a few other good sites with insider sources (e.g., NYT, WaPo, Axios, etc.) to confirm it with more than one source (anonymous or not). BUT that whole section never got recorded. :(
Anyway. Listen to the first 21 minutes. :) After that, you can continue to hear me ramble or not. :)
