To be awarded level 3 classroom teacher status in Western Australia you must complete a reflective review session at the second stage of your assessment. I set up this site to provide some examples of the presentations that myself and two other colleagues have practised. These audio files are quiet large and would be best listened to if downloaded to your machine rather than listened to via the podcast site's player. I look forward to some feedback about the usefulness of the files. Richard.
This is a video which is part of my application for the Apple Distinguished Educator Australia/New Zealand class of 2009.
This is my second practise at this presentation.... the day before I'm to officially give it! Running through the presentation and receiving feedback is an invaluably useful part of the process.
Feedback for my rehearsal of my reflective review presentation that I gave the day before the official presentation. Steve and Bette were providing the feedback (they too are going through the process).
Bette's rehearsal for her reflective review presentation conducted on the day before her official presentation.
An audio file of my practise guided discussion, that forms the second part of my reflective review session. I conducted this session the day before I took part in the formal stage 2 presentation. Bette and Steve, also taking part in the process to achieve level 3 classroom teacher status, were the other participants in this discussion.
This is an audio file of the presentation that Steve gave in a practise session the day before the actual reflective review.
Feedback given to Steve's for his rehearsal of his presentation session conducted the day before he gave his actual presentaion, (Richard and Bette, two other aplicants that are to present the next day as well, are providing the feedback).

Level 3 classroom teacher applications involve a lot of work by applicants. If successful in stage 1 applicants will need to partake in a reflective review session before achieving level 3 status. I intend to record my session and post it here (along with others, if willing) in order that future applicants will have an insight into the process.
