Long time no see. We had a break but now we're back and this time with one of the probably longest podcast episodes I've uploaded so far even though I've played a 3 hour set at Tanzhaus West 2 months ago. This time I have a very versatile assembled set with some of my favorite songs since the start of this year. Of course, I had a couple of gigs during that time, but due to private circumstances, I had to put the podcast a bit on the side. This live set is recorded from the Kesselhaus stage at Schlachthof in my hometown Wiesbaden. We had our own Showcase there during the CORON-Arts Festival with the great @studioennea Family. It was an absolute blast to play together with my brother @alivemaex and party all night with all my friends and stranger who enjoyed the music as much as I did and I hope you'll do as well. For the end of this strange year, I want to gift you guys my latest live set which is also the last live set I played this year. This time I made the opening on the first event of our new series called MIXEDBASSARTS from STUDIOENNEA at the Roof 175. We had a huge and phenomenal lineup around Alivemaex, Kristina, and me. We had Hellkuless, Alina Viktoria, and Synta share the decks with us. It was an absolute blast and I had so much fun partying together with the old crew, my friends, and new people as well. Even if you dontsearchit you can find it here. I'm super proud to welcome @dontsearchit to the Loops of Life family. He's finally delivering a superb vinyl set to our podcast and I can't describe how happy I am to have him here. He's established in the electronic music and techno scene in Marburg and has an enviable vibe in my opinion. He's producing and playing extremely nice techno which fits perfectly into my type of music. That's why I wanted a set from him for this podcast for so long and now, finally, it's here. Since we’re back in the routine, I can proudly present you guys Tammo. He’s the other half of the event series Odyssey together with Nic Palpate who we had last time. He has a great melodic and deep techno sound which is also driven by deep house and even harder techno elements. I like his music and attitude a lot and he’s definitely a great party Hoster. The fact that he also started his new alter Ego called Der Profi just Shows his big heart for music in general and his energy he’s putting into the scene by hosting one of the greatest parties in the area around and within Gießen.

This time we have a special and yet familiar guest which I’m happy to have back after our great comeback. @nic-palpate, who was hosting the Gießkannensoundsystem events together with Chriso, is now also one of the heads of Odyssey which is the most aspiring event series in the area around Gießen. They started their new event series this year and this set of him is live from one of their first parties. @nic-palpate and his friends are mostly responsible for the party life in Gießen and without them, the nightlife wouldn’t be the same during these times. Nic is working hard which is why I love him so much. Listening to his music is always a pleasure and everything he’s involved in is growing fast, so make sure to leave a like and enjoy this one and a half-hour set of him.

We’re back on track fellas! After a long pause during these crazy times since COVID, we’re back with probably one of my most favourite sets I’ve recorded so far.  Beside the fact that this one is recorded live for the first time in the Loops of Life history, I’ve recorded this one on the very special Odyssey & Friends party at the MuK in Gießen which was hosted by the fastest growing music collective in the area around. Hey, guys hope you’re doing fine so far. This time I have one hour of a two-hour B2B live set which I’ve recorded together with Philip Hay at the Circleshow in Frankfurt (a.M). Every time I can play together with Philip I have the pleasure to play a lot of house tracks and I really enjoyed that. Somehow it’s always a special vibe in our sets when I play together with Philip and this is one of the reasons why he is one of my favorite house and deep house DJs based in Wiesbaden. Even though I’m not playing house music much often, it’s still one of my favorite genres besides techno. Big thanks to Oliver Jost who is hosting the Circleshow in Frankfurt and is giving young people who are interested in electronic music a platform to perform, experiment, and get in touch with electronic music! The weather is getting better and better and so is my mood. The people who know me very well also know that I’m not this 'only techno' type of person beside the Dj decks. I really love hip-hop music, singer and songwriter stuff or old rock music. I’m also in love with drum and bass or instrumental band. Three years ago and after 60 Episodes I discovered so much new and awesome music and spotted many new outstanding artists which I like a lot. Today I’m really really proud to show you a one-hour set of @gizmoandmac, a really ambitious and aspiring Techno duo from Germany with releases on The YellowHeads’ Label Reloaded Records. They’re truly two pioneers of the genre mix which I love the most in the scene. Deep, hard and melodic Techno! My homie Nic Palpate from the Gießkannesoundsystem is back with a big b2b special together with Domenico Francesco. They both recorded this two hour session live at the Scarabée club in gießen where I’ve performed a few times as well together with Chriso and Nic himself. This is definitely one of the biggest Deep House sets for your afterhour sessions which I enjoy having on this podcast for a while now. Last but not least the man of the hour who had the honor to close the first ENNEA event by @alivemaex. The crowd was still dancing and moving their feet. @lukas-dos-passos came straight from his gig at the Loft Club in Ludwigshafen and arrived at 4 am at the Roof 175 Club in Mainz to play his closing there. It was a great mix of fast old-school Techno bangers and some 90’s Berlin Berghain Techno. Unfortunately the record stopped after an hour but the crowd didn’t. We partied until 9 am in the morning and I hope you all had fun with us and can’t wait until the next ENNEA event in February next year. After a short break, we are back with a special episode this time. This is our 50th episode of the Loops of Life podcast and we have the pleasure to celebrate this one with the outstanding rising star Bennet from Karlsruhe. He already shared stages with the well-known artists Pappenheimer and Kerstin Eden. After my awesome experience of the GKSS open air last week where I've played the opening, which I unfortunately didn't record, I had the pleasure to play on the Hai im Weiher festival. This was the second edition of this three-day festival in my hometown which is privately organized by a couple of friends of mine. I had the pleasure to play two hours during the prime time on a Saturday. Incredible people, incredible location and definitely worth a visit!

I'm so fucking happy about what happened last Friday. I turned 23 and decided to spend this evening with all my friends at the AK44 Club in Giessen. Chris & Nic Palpate from Gießkannesoundsystem hosted this awesome event and they invited me to play on the main stage. All my friends came around and danced and partied with me the whole night. The club was completely packed and every single person brought such good energy. The vibes were incredible and personally, I could not have spent my birthday in a better way than this. I haven't been this excited since the start of the Loops of Life Podcast. This is not our first international artist on the podcast but for me personally he is definitely one of the most remarkable artists in his genre. I actually got in touch with his music while partying in Amsterdam and I've never experienced such a style in mixing elements of chilled party vibed music with house elements. Hello guys! I hope all of you have already recovered from the longest Monday after New Year's Eve... the January. Today I'll give you my last pre-recorded Set I have because these are my last two weeks in one of the most beautiful cities Europe has probably to offer: Amsterdam. I really fell in love with this city because all the people here are like from a different kind of universe. I've never felt so warmly welcomed and cozy as I feel in this city. A friend of mine once said that Amsterdam is like one big living room and I can totally relate to this. So I hope you'll enjoy this older set of mine until I'll be back in Germany at the beginning of February. Another year full of music and inspiration is coming to an end. Because that I’m still working in Amsterdam for an internship and have nothing with me to record a fresh set I chose another very melancholic mix of mine to share with you called "Vollrausch". This is one of the very first sets I’ve ever recorded and now it’s nearly 5 years old. Many of my friends in Germany with whom I spent a lot of time during this period of my life are still saying that this is one of the best sets I’ve ever recorded. I can’t admit that because a few transitions in this set are a very inexperienced. Anyway, this set reminds me of a great time of my life in which I started to discover the electronic music for me. And either it is not the best-mixed set or the heaviest techno track selection it is still genuine and this is one of the most important reasons for making music or creating art… you want to make yourself happy. This time I just present you the first hour of my two-hour Set which I’ve played at an Open-Air in Oberursel nearby Frankfurt that was organized by a friend of mine. It was quite early for me as usual and I didn’t know to expect. It was really hot and there were many different types of people, adults, teens and also kids. I decided to play a bit more Deep House stuff to don’t scare off the people out with some Techno bass. It was pretty fun in the end because at least the kids enjoyed the music as well and danced and laughed a lot. So I hope you enjoy this deep Live-Set for some of your summer Chill-Session outside.

Maybe some of you had already noticed that the local Techno scene of Karlsruhe is getting stronger and stronger and Felix Hug is another example for this. Today Felix presents you some really nice Techno tunes in his Loops of Life Podcast and gives the mix a fresh touch with his own kind of mixing technique. I think we probably gonna have to keep an eye on Karlsruhe and his Techno scene and definitely gonna support our local music scenes in any case. So I hope you gonna enjoy this one as much as I did.  Btw: I’m going to work in Amsterdam for about 6 months. This means that I might not upload Sets in the typical period of time. Today's episode is actually a bit different from the ones I've recorded yet. This one-hour recording is a snippet from my two-hour closing set which I played live at the summer open-air at "Unter den Eichen". After half of my playtime, the police interrupted the event and we had to turn down the volume so much that I had to switch from House and Techno to some classic Deep House to don't f*** the bass out of the music system. So it was a bit muddled this evening but at the end, it was fun as always. I hope the genre-cut in the middle of the set don't upset you guys.

During the Easter weekend I played together with two great DJ’s and friends of mine at the Scarabée Club in Gießen. After my 2 hour Set, I’ve played until 3 am Chriso & Nic played a huge closing Set as always. I had a lot of fun not standing behind the desk and dance until the end of their playtime instead. Today I can proudly present you a set of a big upcoming DJ and producer called @ralph_kings. Rafael Reyes Beltrán aka @ralph_kings was born in Fraga 1986. During his adolescence he was DJing in the pubs in the area of Fraga, Alcarras and other villages in the area making his first sessions and productions in the field of hard techno, evolving progressively, to techno-house, and finally ending in minimalism, he made his debut in Florida 135, at 20 years old. Hope you’re doing fine. After relocating from Frankfurt to Wiesbaden I’m very glad that I can present you the second Set of one of my favorite local deep and tech house Dj’s from my hometown Chriso.
