Jesus, leadership & a bit about myself. My name's Samuele Caruso and I'm 23. In this Podcast I'll be sharing both unbelievable and funny stories from travelling around 19 nations in 4 years as a missionary. I also want to share with you how I deal with and overcome different issues in my life. I want to be transparent by sharing some of my struggles and embarrassing moments. My greatest desire is to challenge you to break the ice and step into your God given purpose. So, lean back and enjoy!
For those of you who haven't been following us over the past few months, on the 16th of September Jane and I moved from Milan to London. We've been married for one year and nine months, and we left our home, car, jobs, friends, and family behind to come here. Why? Because we felt God calling us to take this step of faith.

On the 16th of September, my wife Jane and I moved to London. We left everything behind - our house, car, and belongings to follow where we felt God calling us to go.

It’s okay to hang out with people who are different from you. It’s okay not to click with everyone in your disciple group — learn to love them anyway. It’s okay to have a bad day, or even a "no" day.
But it’s not okay to try to follow Jesus while avoiding His people. The Church is not optional. It’s God’s design.

The disciples didn’t choose each other — they chose Jesus. But following Jesus meant being in relationship with Peter, Matthew, John, and the rest.
Imagine telling Jesus: “I want to follow you — but not with them. Just me and you, okay?”
But it doesn’t work that way. You can’t be in relationship with Jesus and reject His bride.
This podcast is a call back to that truth: the Church is not optional. It’s non-negotiable.

The church was born through the Holy Spirit, the church cannot live without Him.
“If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!” Luke 11:13
It's not about having had an experience once with the Holy Spirit, but about being filled continually.
“And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit.” Ephesians 5:18

Noah built an ark believing it would save his family's life. It's too late to start building when it has started raining. We will never have miracle stories to share if we don't position ourselves in a place of faith. Don't wait for the miracle to come, and then move. MOVE, STEP OUT and the miracle will come!
God is the definition of Love and He created sex.
However the Bible is clear that we must live in holiness and purity and flee from lustful desires until marriage.
Even though it is difficult I want to tell you that it is POSSIBLE! Yes, it's possible to live in holiness in 2024.
I believe we should both allow God's grace to teach us how to say no to ungodliness & set good practical boundaries to avoid finding ourselves in tempting situations. Here are 4 tips that have helped me & my fiancée Jane. Enjoy!

The church was born with the Holy Spirit, we cannot survive without Him.
Did you know there's a distinction between instrusive and lustful thoughts? How do we take every thought captive and make it obedient to Christ, in a practical way? Are you a victim of your thoughts or are you dominating them?  "We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ." 2 Chorinthians 10:5  "The kingdom of God suffers violence and the violent take it by force!” Matthew 11:12

By faith Noah built an ark; by faith Abraham was ready to sacrifice Isaac; by faith the prostitute Rahab welcomed the spies.
Is your faith active? The Bible says demons believe in God and they tremble. We are not called to simply believe there is a God in Heaven. We are called to have a personal relationship with God and to live a life of faith.
As you step out in faith, trust that God's provision will follow you.
"By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God's command so that what is SEEN was not made out of what was VISIBLE".
Genesis 1
- The earth was formless and empty
- Darkness was over the surface of the deep
And what was in the midst of darkness?
God's spirit! It was waiting for God to speak out in FAITH! God said "let there be light" - and there was light!
Are you living a life of faith? What are you waiting for?
Why do you believe in Jesus? Why do you pray? fast? tithe?
- When your friends will ask you these questions what will you say? My mum told me to? or my Pastor said it's important?
We need to have deep convictions based on God's Word. Ask Him to give you the Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation as you read the Bible and make sure you build your life on the Rock. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. People are looking for christians that live out what they believe in and have a strong conviction in what God says in His Word.
God's will for us is good, pleasing and perfect. He wants to direct us and show us the way of life so that we can live in a satisfying and fulfilling way. Will it always be easy and comfortable? How can we know God's will for our life? Are you in God's will right now? - In the right place, at the right time with the right people?
"Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is, His good, pleasing and perfect will" Romans 12:2
We have been saved to save, blessed to bless! Keep proclaiming the praises of Him who called you out of darkness. The harvest is ready!!!
"But you are a Chosen people, a Royal Priesthood, a Holy Nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light." 1 peter 2:9
"A different route that is shorter than the one usually taken". God rejects Saul as King in 1 Samuel 15 because he didn't obey 100%. Shortcuts will cut your blessing. God desires obedience more than sacrifice, what does it mean?
My life radically changed when I received the Baptism in the Holy Spirit. How? Can you also receive it? Lean back and enjoy.
Jesus said "Nevertheless, I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you. But if I go, I will send him to you."

Here's a short interview with Meesh Fomenko. He was born in Moldova and is the third of seven children. He was born into poverty and severe Communist persecution. Memories of his family being oppressed for being christian, flood his heritage, with experiences such as church meetings in the forests to stay away from authorities, house bugged by the government to prevent the spreading of their faith, and massive fines to his father for driving around ministers who spread the Gospel.
He is leading BEMOVED and wants to REACH people around the world with the message of Jesus, RAISE believers to understand their identity & begin to operate in authority and RELEASE influencers to shape and transform culture.

I'm not an expert on the topic but I have understood that to feel anxious is not a SIN but a SIGNAL. We aren't called to live in a constant state of worry, fear, anxiety. Jesus said "I give you my peace". So how can we live peacefully? What should we do when we feel anxious? Is it normal to feel anxious at times? Hope this episode will help you and inspire you.
Maybe you don't feel rested after the summer. I used to picture myself lying on a beautiful beach under the sun drinking Ice tea when I thought about the word "REST". What does it mean to rest? How should we rest? Where do we find true rest? Is it to sleep a lot or eat good food? Here are some of my reflections
What's in your heart?Â
"Remember how the Lord your God led you all the way in the wilderness these forty years, to humble and test you in order to know what was in your heart, whether or not you would keep his commands."
Humility. It is commonly used as a form of sarcasm more than by referring to its actual meaning. In church settings, it is frequently mentioned as it is understood to be the root of every virtue even if in a very superficial way.
1. It is a universal spiritual law.
- It is a decision not an emotion.Â
"For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted".Â
In the last episode "Talk is cheap" we spoke about the life we are called to live. Signs & wonders, miracles and the supernatural are supposed to be part of the believer's life. However, what's the main purpose of our life? Does God merely want to use us or does he truly love us? How can you be sure of His love towards you?
1 corinthians 4:20 says "For the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power". Do you just say you are a christian or do you live like one? Are you merely believing Jesus could do miracles or do you believe you can also pray for the sick and they will be healed? Is the Bible just a book or a manual teaching us how to live life? We aren't just called to read the Bible but to live what's written in it!
HOLINESS! Oh yes, I know that as you read this word you probably felt uncomfortable and started thinking “oh no, I’m not holy…” If God calls us to be holy it means it is possible! Well, then If it is possible, how can we (young people) live up to such a high standard? Â
Hearing God's voice whisper the name "Kevin", receiving a word of knowledge for a greek young man and praying for the sick while walking around with crutches. I believe in the supernatural!
Faith is spelled RISK. Without faith it is impossible to please God. What is faith? Are you living a life of faith?
I have a deep passion and desire to see people change. The gospel has the power to change people's lives.
Jesus healed the mother in law of Peter from fever (Matthew 8:14), a woman with an issue of blood for 12 years (Matthew 8:20), a man with leprosy (Matthew 8:1), A man crippled for 38 years (John 5) and Lazarus who was dead for 4 days (John 11:1–44).
Is there anything impossible for Him?
There is grace given. 2 peter 1:2-4 says that His power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness. We have all we need to live life. We just need to learn to tap into His grace!!
Have you ever felt like giving up? Think about Moses 40 years in the desert after killing an Egyptian. How about Jesus? We read in John 12:27-28 Jesus saying "Now my soul is troubled, and what shall I say? Father, save Me from this hour? But for this purpose I came to this hour. Father, glorify Your name." The greatest heroes of faith faced situations where they wanted to give up. Let us be people that persevere and never give up!
In 1 Samuel 15 God says "Obedience is better than sacrifice". In this episode I share 5 lessons I've learned from this passage. Let us be an obedient generation, desiring to do His will and not our own. Lean back and be encouraged!
