Welcome Friends and thank you for connecting with us for another wonderful episode of CWC! Today, Donna had the chance to talk with Posey Hill.Three-time Arkansas Country Music Awards Nominee (2018, 2022, 2024), Posey Hill is a regional touring Alt-country/Americana group from Central Arkansas. Doug Burnett grew up in Arkansas in the late 70’s-80’s, playing in bands that covered rock, top 40, country and bluegrass before becoming a dad to Kristian, Erin and Megan. The girls grew up listening to him write music on his old ’54 Gibson so it was only a natural progression that they would follow suit. Starting out as a bluegrass band, Posey Hill has played places like Silver Dollar City in Missouri, Rockygrass in Colorado, Leander Bluegrass Festival in Texas and countless venues around Arkansas. Exploring their original music led them to a broader scope of sound, pulling from the rock, country and blues Doug raised the girls on. A valuable part of their musical upbringing was their exposure to some of the best female singer/songwriter influences: Linda Ronstadt, Bonnie Raitt, Stevie Nicks, Emmylou Harris, Dolly Parton, and more. They are currently inspired by Americana/Alt-country/Red Dirt acts such as Tyler Childers, Turnpike Troubadours, The High Women, Red Clay Strays and more.In 2021, the group went to The Doghouse Studios in Nashville, TN to begin recording their first all-original album. Released in August 2023, No Clear Place to Fall received global recognition from important critics such as UK’s Alan Cackett and Saving Country Music’s Trigger; making SCM’s Essential Albums of 2023 list. Their singles “Keeping Tyler”, “I’m Too Old for This” and “Send Him My Love” have received airplay all around Arkansas and various national internet radio stations and streaming playlists.Their live shows mix a variety of originals, old country, 70’s rock, folk, Bluegrass and R&B appealing to a wide audienceFor more on Posey Hill check out https://poseyhillmusic.com/

Welcome Friends and thank you for connecting with us for another wonderful episode of CWC! Join us as we chat with our good friend Demi Michelle!
Demi Bio:
Demi Michelle is an award-winning pop and country songwriter from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. From a young age, she has surrounded herself with music, playing piano, singing her favorite songs, and going to as many concerts as possible. While in college, she discovered her passion for songwriting and decided to turn her experiences into lyrics. The thought of writing a new song is always in her mind, and she can’t resist typing lyrics into her phone and recording melody ideas when she’s inspired. Her songs hold an authenticity that shows who she is, staying true to herself as a songwriter.
Demi kicked off her songwriting journey in 2019 with her debut single, “Into Focus.” After following this release with several singles, she delivered her debut album, Dear Diary, on October 15, 2021. This eleven-track album, which includes Demi’s popular single, “Will I Ever,” truly gives listeners a glimpse into Demi’s heart and story. The songs capture honesty and vulnerability, much like diary entries do. Demi wrote this album for herself to explore her thoughts, feelings, and insecurities. Through writing Dear Diary, she has gone on a journey of self-discovery.
On January 28, 2022, Demi was invited onto her hometown station, 100.7 STAR Pittsburgh, to be the first artist on the morning show’s new segment, Bubba Show Live and Local Music Spotlight. Along with an interview, “Will I Ever” aired during the show, making it Demi’s first play on top 40 radio.
One of Demi’s songwriting dreams came true on March 25. It’s her goal to be a songwriter for other artists, and she landed her first songwriting cut with the release of a gorgeous and emotional piano ballad, “Never Add Up,” by UK-based artist, Lindsey Farrow. Demi both co-wrote the song and recorded piano for it. The release of “Never Add Up” was a huge moment for Demi because her first cut is something she has worked so hard to achieve.

Welcome Friends and thank you for connecting with us for another wonderful episode of CWC!
As the kid who has always had the drive and passion for music, from listening to NPR to singing many solos in the school choir, Sam Ferrara has made music a significant part of her life. Beginning with her voice and piano, she quickly realized she had a knack for instruments and learned the clarinet, alto saxophone, and her favorite, bass clarinet - just to name a few. Finding her stride in high school and college, these pieces of her story helped develop her into the musician she is today.
Sam is all about impacting and inspiring others. During a low point in her life, a stranger told her to “go and take her life back” and that was just the boost she needed to go after her dreams. Sam hit the ground running, releasing her songs “Whiskey Memory” and “Get Out of My Town (featuring Amanda McCarthy)” in 2022. The sassy and powerful lyrics of those songs encourage her audience to be not only open with how they feel, but to also stand up for themselves. Sam also hopes that her stories will help her audience to understand her personal journey, too.
A few memorable career highlights for Sam include performing at venues such as Madison Square Garden, Barclay Center, off-Broadway at Symphony Space and The Hobby Center for the Performing Arts in Houston, TX. In addition, Sam also traveled to Europe to perform shows in 2010 and 2012 and has performed at legendary venues like The Cutting Room in New York City, The Bluebird Cafe and The Listening Room in Nashville, TN. She has opened for artists such as Kalie Shorr, Honey Country and Lauren Davidson and she looks forward to growing that list.
Her debut album “Piece of Me” was released on July 28, 2023 and is a culmination of the pieces of her journey throughout the last 8 years. Sam feels that the delivery of "Piece of Me" will be the moment where she can finally be seen for who she truly is. This is only the beginning of Sam’s story and the best is yet to come!

Welcome Friends and thank you for connecting with us for another wonderful episode of CWC! Join me as I catch up with my favorite Outlaw Queen of Finland Mikaela Finne!
Truth be told, Finne was born and spent her childhood on the coast of Finland in Vaasa, and now hails from Stockholm, Sweden. Finne actually found as much inspiration in heavy metal as she did the country genre during her youth, the rebellious spirit she found in both prompting her to pursue her musical passion. Like her contemporaries Sarah Shook and Lydia Loveless, Finne’s emotive vibrato is its own instrument, adding an undeniable passion to her songs and making lines like “I’ve lost count, how many times you’ve broken my heart“ even more impactful. “The country music comes from my dad,” she explains, recalling his love for Dolly Parton and Creedence. “The word ‘outlaw’, for me, [means] you do something that you love regardless of what anybody else thinks about what you’re doing. … When I was a teenager, the music and the heavy metal that I listened to were totally outlaw.”

Welcome Friends and thank you for connecting with us for another wonderful episode of CWC! In Today's episode we catch up with our good friend Paige King Johnson and talk about new music, life, and exciting things happening in 2024. Meet Paige: In a quiet North Carolina town 22 miles south of Raleigh, as a young 9-year-old girl, Paige King Johnson spent her days imitating the styles of Loretta, Patsy, Waylon, and Merle. Having a grandpa as her biggest fan also meant receiving the gift of her first guitar – a baby Taylor - and enrolling in lessons. After her grandpa passed, the bright-eyed dreamer carried on his memory by taking her newfound discovery to local fairs, festivals, and any other stage she was allowed to stand on. As she grew older, Johnson added “opening act” to her resume, supporting chart topping artists like Kane Brown, Oliver Anthony, Joe Nichols, Gabby Barrett, Diamond Rio, Scotty McCreery, Kylie Morgan, Neal McCoy and more. And with high school graduation came the realization that this was more than a hobby. The Angier native traded in horse pastures for the bright lights of Music City in 2015. Upon starting school at Belmont University for Music Business, Johnson honed in on the magic that had heavily influenced her as a child: the art of storytelling thru songwriting. Welcome Friends and thank you for connecting with us for an amazing episode of CWC! In today's episode, Paula and Donna meet up with the talented Carley Callaghan of Silverspark!
Silverspark Bio:
After a chance meeting in London, songwriters Carley Callaghan and Matt Phillips began their story. Within 6 months of meeting, they had quit their day jobs to take a leap of faith and build a career in music. Sacrificing many of life's comforts, they honed their craft performing covers at weddings and events to pay the bills and wrote their first song together backstage at a show. Those early songs, Carley’s soulful voice and Matt’s captivating guitar playing meant they quickly grew a loyal fan base and played at iconic circuit venues such as The Musician, The Jericho Tavern, and the O2 Academy. Radio support from regional BBC stations, and College Radio in the US, further cemented them as a band to watch. Just as momentum was building, SilverSpark faced some unexpected twists in the road, including COVID-19, which left them on hiatus.....until now.
For Carley and Matt, the fire burns strong, and with a desire to get back to their roots as a duo. With their love of real instrumentation and evocative storytelling, the authenticity of country music has always been in their blood. Growing up, Matt was listening to REM, The Eagles, and The Rolling Stones, whilst Carley was singing Patsy Cline songs and had Shania Twain, Faith Hill and LeAnn Rimes on repeat. It's this rich melting pot of influences, including some of the greatest storytellers of all time, that inspire SilverSpark to take the listener on a journey. Whether it’s one of heartbreak or redemption, hope or defiance, throughout their lyrics as in their daily lives, they always wear their hearts on their sleeves.
'The Last Time' is the first single in this new chapter; a powerful anthem for anyone who has seen the warning signs in a relationship and knows they need to escape before it's too late.

Today, Paula and I had the opportunity to catch up with the infamous international singer and songwriter, Lorenza Wildcard and talk about her latest release, "Wasting My Time." Lorenza is an exceptional singer and songwriter to fell into this area of the industry by chance. We've all heard the over night star monicor, and in this instants its true. Lorenza's beginning journey is definitely unlike the majority of singer/songwriters. She wrote a song, "You and I," played it for friends over social channels and a producer heard it. As Lorenza says, "the rest is history," Since 2021, she has worked to continue to write and release the best songs while unapologetically being herself.

Welcome Friends! Thank you for joining us for a new episode of Crazy Women Country! In Today's Episode, I had the opportunity to meet with the talented twin sister duo of Jaye Madison! The Nashville-based, Texas-born twins, Jordan Skinner and Madison Skinner, are sisters and songwriters, a duality that nourishes an already intrinsic yin and yang that binds the duo both in music and in life. Originally from Lumberton, TX, a hop, skip, and a jump away from Janis Joplin’s hometown of Port Arthur, their environment heavily influenced their sound. “Southern is a way of life, and we lived it surrounded by country, folk, and blues music from Elvis, Willie Nelson, Etta James, and The Judds,” says Jordan, “but we also have a love of classic rock, spending hours dancing in the living room to The Eagles, Heart, Chicago, Janis Joplin, Fleetwood Mac, and every 70s and 80s hit you can imagine.” They grew up singing, studying, and honing their vocal skills and performing in community theater, dreaming of a career in music one day, but they were, as the duo recalls, “songwriter late bloomers” who didn’t even write their first song until they headed to Nashville after they were accepted into the Commercial Voice program at Belmont University. “When we got there, we quickly realized we’d have to sharpen our writing skills immensely if we wanted to do this for real,” says Jordan. Living in Nashville has propelled them forward in achieving their dream. Being surrounded by such talent forced them to either step up or give up and they weren’t about to give up. “When you’re in Nashville you’re a songwriter and musician first,” says Madison. “No one asks you what your day job is even though everyone has one...and probably two others. There’s a charming steeliness to the artists in town who have had to not only fight for opportunities but their individuality as writers and performers. It challenges you. It humbles you. It makes you face your ego.” You can hear all these musical influences and the experience of living in Nashville on Jaye Madison’s upcoming trilogy of EP releases that make up MIRЯOR, which, as a whole concept, is their debut album. They recorded it at Revolver Recordings in Los Angeles with Grammy-Award-winning producer Mikal Blue (OneRepublic, Colbie Caillat, Jason Mraz), Co-producer Dean Dinning and Josh Daubin of Toad the Wet Sprocket, Michael Ward (Guitar) of The Wallflowers, and songwriter Dalton Cyr (Piano and Guitar). The totality of the EPs follows Jaye Madison on their real-life journey of self-discovery and self-reflection as they navigates life in their 20’s. “Jordan’s writing leans more towards the light side, mine leans towards the dark,” says Madison. “So together those sounds create soulful introspection that feels like a painting of realistic womanhood. Joy, sadness, anger - we cover it all.” They combine their favorite parts of folk, country, and classic rock into their own sound and create the perfect mixture of all the music they grew up with. “We write what we know, and what we know is who we are,” says Jordan. For more on Jaye Madison https://jayemadison.com/

Welcome Friends! Thank you for joining us for a new episode of Crazy Women Country!
On Today's episode of Crazy Women Country, I had the opportunity to meet up with the talented and beautiful Amanda Kate Ferris. Amanda Kate Ferris grew up equally inspired by her small-town upbringing and her mother, Kathy Wright, an artist and entertainer herself. As one of the original “Dean Martin Golddiggers” on the 1960’s TV show, 18-year-old Kathy often collaborated with The Rat Pack's crooners, embracing the era's glamour. The apple didn’t fall far from the tree, and young Amanda was singing as early as two years old. Inspired by her mother’s tales of performing on the stage and screen, she developed her own voice in the church. Amanda added songwriting to her repertoire at age 14, looking again to follow in her mother’s footsteps as a full-time musician and artist. During her mother’s long sets at Honky Tonks between California, New Mexico, and Texas, Amanda fell in love with the music of The Judds, Trisha Yearwood, Faith Hill, Leanne Womack, and Brooks & Dunn, all of which heavily influenced her current sound.

In today's episode, I had the amazing opportunity to catch up with beautiful Kelly Williams. We both shared a later in life drive back to a calling of songwriting and music.
Bio: Atlanta based singer-songwriter, Kelly Williams, rediscovered a piece of herself she'd packed away decades ago with her childhood guitar when she began taking lessons at the age of 40. Between carpool, laundry, and errands, Kelly began to write songs at her kitchen table.
With each song, Kelly attempts to express the emotional truth of her experiences, sometimes through the simplest, most mundane moments of daily life. Kelly believes it's never too late to pursue something you love. One of her songwriting teachers, Mary Gauthier, said, "...to ignore your heart's desire is to ignore your creator’s instructions." The nagging desire to create has always been inside Kelly, and she has finally chosen to follow her creator’s instructions to make music, hoping to inspire and move people with her melodies and words.

Founder of My Date to Create: MY DATE TO CREATE is a weekly, scheduled meeting over Zoom where you ensure that you work on your writing, songwriting or creative project for one hour.
Co-Founder: of Sync Music For A Change: We're a couple of musician activists (Justina Shandler & Elaine Ryan) who met in a course on songwriting for music licensing and became close friends and co-writers. We started noticing that some of the most progressive people we saw on social media were music supervisors. Why not harness that for good? We decided to see if music supervisors would share their time and expertise around music licensing in exchange for us musicians helping moving progressive causes forward.

Hello Friends! Join Donna and Paula as they chat with Lexi Jordan!
Be sure to check out the interview on YouTube
September 2016, was the first time Lexi Jordan (Alexa Zarozny) stepped onto a stage. From signing CD's with an Expo marker at ten years old to performing at the Big E by the age of seventeen, Jordan's love for the stage and country music have only continued to grow.
Growing up, Jordan always had a strong connection with music. Not just the catchy melodies, but the meaning behind the lyrics as well. She grew up listening to country music and became mesmerized by the stories told through the genre. She continued to discover those stories to help her cope through difficult times.
Through her early teenage years, Jordan consistently struggled with stage fright, whether it be a school presentation or performing in front of the family. In September 2016, after years of performance and vocal training, Jordan was presented with the opportunity to perform at the historical Faneuil Hall in Boston, Massachusetts. She accepted the opportunity and allowed the moment, stage, and music to take her out of the reality she had known and place her into something larger.
By her junior year of high school, Jordan released her debut single "Highway" on all popular streaming outlets. Within a year of the release, she had been featured on three of the biggest country radio stations in New England. To date, Jordan has performed at Indian Ranch, "New England's Home of Country Music", and The Big E, the sixth-largest fair in the nation. She has also received five Worcester Music Award Nominations and accepted the award for Female Vocalist of the Year by the New England Country Music Organization.
Jordan's goal is consistently inspiring children and adults to follow their dreams no matter how big or crazy they may seem. She reminds herself every day that “you miss 100% of the shots you don’t take” and "a dream is only a dream until you put it to work".
Currently, Jordan balances her studies of digital marketing at Bryant University in Rhode Island with her music career and expansion of knowledge within the industry. She recently accepted the position of Digital Marketing and Sales Coordinator for Cloud 9 Development in Nashville, Tennessee. Jordan plans to make the move to Nashville within the next couple of years and begin pursuing her music career full time.

Hello Friends! Join Donna and Paula as they chat with Katie McGhie!
Be sure to check out the interview on YouTube
Katie released her first studio album, an anthem-driven, girl power, pop album, in 2011. She became a regular in the LA music scene performing at iconic venues on the Sunset Strip including The Hotel Cafe, The House of Blues and the Roxy. Katie has since gone back to her roots and is now producing Country/Folk music as a nod to the music she was raised on, influenced by the likes of Dolly Parton, John Denver, The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band and Johnny Cash.
In 2012, Katie and Air Supply front man, Graham Russell, formed a duo known as Of Eden after being introduced by a mutual friend. The pair released their first album in 2013 (Feel) and toured the U.S. stopping in major cities like Nashville, New York, Boston, Chicago and LA. Katie also returned to her musical theatre roots and co-composed a new musical adaptation of Treasure Island with Graham. The show ran off-Broadway in the summer of 2015 to rave reviews and is now currently in the early stages of production in Russia and Germany. Of Eden released their sophomore album, Astral Love, earlier this year and it is now available on all streaming platforms.
Katie has been writing for and collaborating with other artists and songwriters, continuing to work across all genres and has been featured on chart topping tracks in the U.S. and internationally. She won Best Original Song at the 8th Annual Indie Series Awards for her single 'I Can’t Make You Love Me' featured in the award-winning web series #Adulting.
Like many artists during the pandemic, Katie has been playing livestream concerts and continues to write new music she plans to release in 2021.

She’s thirsty for love and magic, for joy and sunshine. She’s thirsty for compassion and authenticity. And more than anything, she’s thirsty for anything that sets her soul on fire. Kirstie Kraus carries her thirst in her songwriting, in her live shows, and in her everyday connection with other kindred spirits. Nowhere is her appetite more quenched than on a stage in front of her fans, appropriately named “Thirsties”. Her confidence naturally shines under the bright lights, taking concert goers on a well-defined path of self-discovery and bliss. Her writing infuses her own transparent journey with others’ experiences to create sustainable lyrics and catchy melodies. The result is a perfect blend of country, funk, blues, and rock because with Kirstie, there are no boundaries. There’s only the process of “letting go” and letting the song tell you what it wants to be.

Hello Friends! Join Donna and Paula as they chat with Dani Jack!
Be sure to check out the interview on YouTube
“Dani Jack has one of those voices that makes you sit up in your chair and take notice.” After seeing Dani perform on Broadway in downtown Nashville, Ann Walczak of Edible Nashville shared the sentiment that is often voiced after hearing the bold sound coming from “the cute brunette in a leather jacket.” Dani’s first taste of the stage came when she was cast as The Little Drummer Boy at just four years old. Since then Dani’s singing and performing abilities have taken her to various venues around the world, from Los Angeles to Nashville and all the way to Haiti and China.
After moving to Nashville in 2016, Dani immersed herself in the collaborative community that was now her home. When she had a collection of songs she truly believed in, cowritten with some of the best the city had to offer, Jack launched a Kickstarter to fund her debut EP. Fresh off the release of her debut single "Fallin' For It" in June 2018, which was released exclusively on WSMV TODAY in Nashville, Dani introduced to fans her highly anticipated debut EP, Grace, produced by Luke Forehand (Travis Tritt, Blackbird Studios). Music blog Out from the Pine Box described the EP as “a balance between feisty and fun lyrics with seamless segues to the more sentimental and slow songs. The remaining songs on the EP explore the emotional pain that comes with a relationship coming to an end, learning to love again, and building yourself back up after falling down.” Variety Beat's Jencita Vargas says, "Her vocals shine through in each track and offer so much variety. It’s not just the same sound set to different music, but each track is truly a different experience."

The best singers draw from experience. And that’s true for young as well as well-seasoned artists.
Though still in their mid teens, sisters Kelli and Kayla Iutzwig, a.k.a. Wild Fire, prove this point at show after show, in song after song. Their self-titled, debut EP Wild Fire confirms that their future is bright. Their sophomore EP Been There., released in April, 2019, confirms that this future is now, with a soundtrack that’s infectious, fun and impossible to resist.
More than that, they are already conveying their stories through music in ways that inspire with audiences their age and beyond. Singly and in harmony, they channel the optimism of youth, sprinkle in the spice of early insight into life’s lessons, super-charge it with jolt of pop and the sass of country.
No wonder Linda Wilson, President of the Texas Country Music Association, describes them as “one of the best up-and-coming young artist duos out there.” And following their live appearance on “Great Day Houston” in March 2019, KHOU-TV proclaimed, “Wild Fire are setting the music world ablaze.”
This fire was kindled in Houston, where their parents spotted Kelli’s and Kayla’s talent when they were barely old enough to sing along to Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, Sam Hunt, FGL and other radio favorites. When each girl was 6 years old she began studying with celebrated vocal coach Pamela Moore. Both also learned to play guitar, with Kelli doubling on drums. They took to songwriting quickly and naturally and learned how to transfer their energy and creativity to numerous live theater and dance productions.

Carolyn's Side of the Story...
I grew up on a dairy farm in Sicamous, BC with my Austrian father, my English mother and my Canadian brother. My father, an accomplished violinist, taught me how to play the piano when I was very young. He liked nothing better than to play duets with me for any visitors that happened by. Paying no heed to the musical tastes of the times or our guests, my father would perform for his hostages, launching into a favourite Dvorak or Chopin, poking me in the back with his bow if I appeared forgetful, shy or unenthused. Mortified, I longed for giant flames to eat the piano and my father.
I have since developed a more light-hearted relationship with music. My first band was The Vinaigrettes. We started as an all-girl foursome from Victoria and played together, in spite of a dizzying number of line-up changes, for seven years. We toured our pop - surf - punk - art - country - rock asses across Canada several times, but then, after a few years, Brigette, the smart one of the group, consulted an atlas and we started venturing South when we realized that Los Angeles was closer to Victoria than Edmonton - and the swimming was better! The Vinaigrettes recorded six albums, achieving a modest amount of obscurity, and broke up in 1998 due to "nervous indifference" and "creative exhaustion," vowing to "sue the industry for abandonment," and leaving dozens of fans mildly disappointed.
Exhausted and emotionally crushed by the failure of my first band and the ensuing two year bender, I attempted to find solace in the rehearsal spaces of other bands such as: Hat Head, The Fixin's, The Show Business Giants, The Metronome Cowboys, The Corn Sisters (a duo with label-mate Miss Neko Case), Monster Tweety, and Klugman. But eventually, while hiding under the bed at one of our neverending house parties, I decided to use my own name when I played. So far it's been a good idea - I'm not married to any one style of music, I can play solo or with a band depending on the money or my mood, and it's almost impossible for me to break up with myself. Those curious about my "sound" will just have to listen to the record I guess. If you are a newspaper sort who doesn't know what to say, I've never had a problem with the words "lovely and talented." Thank-you and goodnight.

Nashville's newest darling, Caitlin Quisenberry, is full speed ahead as she quickly moves up the ranks of country music. Undoubtedly, Quisenberry is blessed with one of the most exciting and fresh voices in country music today. She may be new to the Nashville music scene, but Quisenberry is no stranger to the public eye. She has been singing and performing for more than a decade. At 14 years old, she worked with Grammy-winning producer Robert Cutarella on a four-song EP. The following year, she auditioned for American Idol, where she nabbed a Golden Ticket and was pushed through to Hollywood. In 2013, the vocalist was crowned Miss Colorado Outstanding Teen after singing to a sold-out audience at Denver's Ellie Caulkins Opera House. Quisenberry then decided to attend Pepperdine University, where she graduated with a degree in Philosophy, an emphasis in Vocal Performance, and a certificate in Conflict Management and Dispute Resolution from Pepperdine Law School.
While attending the University, Quisenberry pursued a career in acting. Her time spent in Hollywood landed her leading roles in national commercials including Kelloggs Frosted Flakes and Doritos, along with her most notable role in the ABC TV sitcom, "Blackish". Although she loved acting, singing was always her true passion. Quisenberry was given the opportunity in her Sophomore year of college to study abroad in Lausanne, Switzerland with renowned opera singer Karine Mkrtchyan. Quisenberry believes her classical background is what has given her an advantage in the sea of incredibly talented singers. Upon graduating, Quisenberry was chosen by her Pepperdine vocal coach to sing lead vocals for the Harbor Unplugged bluegrass concert. As she sang with a Nashville based band, Quisenberry knew that country was the direction she wanted to take her music! Alongside legendary artists, her music has been spotlighted in print, online publications, and major Spotify playlists including New Music Nashville, Nashville Stripped, CMT, Whisky Riff's New Friday Playlist, The Nash News, Country Belles Radio, 97.9 Kiss Country, KLZ 100.7 FM, Women of Country, Raised on It, Country Note, Westword, ThinkTankNashville, NewBreak, Off The Row Magazine, Pro Country, The Country Note, Denver Westword, SpotOnColorado.com, Voyager, Medium.com and more.
Currently, the red-headed vocalist is enjoying success with "Blue", "S.O.S.", "Let Love Die" and "Imogene". Quisenberry continues to write music and has just released her newest single, "Get Loud With Me".

For More on Kailey https://www.kaileynicole.com
Kailey Nicole was shaped by the country music always playing in the house. Patsy Cline, Elvis Presley, and Johnny Cash all made an indelible impression on Nicole and their “honesty and ‘trailblazing’ attitude toward their craft” helped shape her own musical spirit. “Back in the day, my grandmother looked and sounded like Connie Frances,” Nicole described. “In order to pay her way through nursing school, she would perform as Connie throughout Kentucky. She picked me up every day after school when I was young, so she has had a big influence on my music and me.”
Kailey Nicole got her professional start singing and acting in the theatre when she was just nine years old. She’s worked in film, TV, voice-over, and commercials, which has helped set the stage for her recording career. Above all, Kailey has always enjoyed playing the guitar and writing music. She made her first mark on the music scene in 2015 when she was 16 years old, with her first EP, Nashville Stick-Up (Fervor Records). The EP and accompanying video for the title track was well received by critics and marked Nicole as someone who sang like an old soul at a young age.
With the Nashville Stick-up under her belt, Nicole decided to take time off from performing to study music at the University of Southern California. Now graduated, she has reemerged with the release of her bold new eponymous titled EP. The new collection of songs was produced by musician Niles Thomas (Roxystar), the EP was mastered and engineered by six-time Grammy winner Bonzai Caruso (Madonna, Stephen Marley).

Sonia Linares, a Composer/Singer and Song-Writer based in Tarragona, Spain. I have been writing and composing Music for over 20 years, with independent Live Music projects: Et-Co (Contemporary World Fusion), Jazzul (Author, Nu Jazz) and with Liverpool Spanish Fusion Band, BARRIOVIEJO - Manchester International Festival, Southport Jazz Festival, BBC Radio Manchester. (U.K).
Curiously artistic, I love mixing genres in my vocal delivery and in the creation of the Music.
As an artist, I welcome the opportunity to work with other creative minded artists, developing new music, including production music, theme tracks for films and Contemporary Video-Art etc.
My latest musical adventure is "Spirit Fruit", my debut EP as a solo artist. This work is a opportunity to convey my emotional inner worlds tainted in sensitive lyrics with a turn of Indie Folk. My idea has always been that of submerging listeners into worlds of emotion and reflective wonder. The album is written in a rich, poetic ground, where story-telling grows almost innerly, blossoming in a metaphoric music space, filled with turning contrasts.
To me, conceiving it, felt like being in little scenes, moving emotion into personal spaces where imagination could become that metaphoric safe space, like a film we could live in, while the Music is playing.
The album was produced by David Chueca at Marlee Records and released independently in October 2020.
As an Artist I am always willing to create and learn more about making great Music that mirrors emotional worlds and imaginative lands with its languages.

In a quiet North Carolina town 22 miles south of Raleigh, as a young 9-year-old girl, Paige King Johnson spent her summers under the crepe myrtles imitating the styles of Loretta, Patsy, Waylon, and Merle. As she grew older, Johnson added “opening act” to her resume, supporting chart topping artists like Scotty McCreery, Neal McCoy, Luke Pell, and James Otto. And with high school graduation came the realization that this was more than a hobby. The Angier native traded in horse pastures and back roads for the bright lights of Music City in 2015. Upon starting school at Belmont University for Music Business, Johnson honed in on the magic that had heavily influenced her as a child: the art of storytelling thru songwriting.
“I started finding my own voice thru writing, becoming more confident, and owning the fact that my personal feelings and experiences were worth talking about, singing about, and putting on paper,” Johnson reflects.

Hello Friends! Join Donna and Paula as they chat with Stephanie Ryann!
Be sure to check out the interview on YouTube
Stephanie Ryann is a singer and songwriter whose music bridges the gap between country, folk and pop. Often compared to the likes of Miranda Lambert and Maren Morris, her “storytelling” writing style and unique sound sets her apart from other country artists on the scene. Ryann’s upcoming single, “I Should”, releases on October 9th 2020 and features the most personal and honest lyrics Ryann has written and recorded to date. The lyrics showcase society’s version of “success”, that of which Ryann has no intention of following.
While COVID-19 shut down most of the music industry, Ryann took the opportunity to hone her songwriting skills and teach herself guitar, which lead to the creation of her COVID-inspired single, “Nights Like These” (co-written by Ryann and Scott Kurt and produced by Brent Rader in Nashville, TN). “Nights Like These” is currently Ryann’s most streamed song to date on Spotify. Ryann’s music has been featured on numerous music blogs, publications and radio stations, including interviews and performances on iHeart Radio 94.7 WDSD with Benny for “Nashville’s Next” and on New York’s Country 94.7 with Jesse Addy. According to Patrick L. at Southern Fellow, “Stephanie Ryann doesn’t just flirt with country music. She goes straight for the soul of it.”
The 33 year old from Westchester County (NY) is no stranger to the music industry, spending most of her late teens and early 20’s auditioning for tv shows such as American Idol, Nashville Star, and The Voice to assist in jumpstarting her career. Ryann got her start in country music in 2016 with the help of her co-writer Kevin Totoian and producer Randy Funke, both of whom made it possible to release her debut, self-titled EP in October 2018. Since then, Stephanie Ryann has released a “Summer Series” of songs, including “Home”, “Travelers” (co-written and produced by Eliot Lewis) and “Summer Fling” in 2019, followed by her debut single of 2020, "For a Reason”(co-written and produced by Stephen Bartlett).
Ryann has opened for Jackson Dean, The Felice Brothers, Cole Swindell, Midnight North, Jamie McLean and Carolyn Miller. Ryann has also performed as a back up singer for solo artist, Eliot Lewis, of the legendary pop duo Hall & Oates. Due to the pandemic, Ryann has been regularly gigging her own shows via Instagram Live titled #PAJAMASESSIONS on Sundays at 11AM EST, as well as hosting live-streaming events for various media outlets including radio stations, music blogs and music venues since the beginning of April 2020.
For Stephanie Ryann, “I Should” is just the beginning.

A rarity having a clear vision of her goals early in life, country artist Courtney Dickinson paved her own, unconventional path from the start. “I knew it was going to take a lot of work to be able to pull this off, but I knew from an early age that if I wanted to be successful, I needed to put everything into my music. Luckily, I have a very supportive family that has helped along the way” said Dickinson. Going as far as dropping the stereotypical high school and college lifestyle. Courtney earned a degree in Marketing with honors {online} while touring radio stations, performing all over the U.S promoting a TOP 40 single on her own without a promotions team.

Hello Friends! Join Donna and Paula as they chat with Raihanna Estrada!
Be sure to check out the interview on YouTube
Raihanna Estrada is an indie country artist-songwriter from California who now calls Nashville home. She grew up in a motorhome on a Ranch in Lake Berryessa in Napa County and fell in love with country music. She learned to sing from Disney and musicals like Annie and Oliver as a kid. Later her ears were captivated by artists on 90’s country radio such as Jo Dee Messina, Phil Vassar, Dixie Chicks, Tim McGraw, Travis Tritt and LeAnn Rimes. She started songwriting at age 13 creating stories and melodies. And started performing whenever she could at Karaoke. In high school she moved back to Fremont, CA in the San Francisco Bay Area and continued by singing the National Anthem at rallies, sports games and performing at talent shows.
Raihanna was adopted at six months old by her maternal Grandparents who she called Mom and Dad. They raised her to love everyone, help when you can, to work hard and to be creative. They were a different generation and that gave her a love of things of the past. Their suburban home had many treasures. They were everything to her. In 2005 and 2006 Raihanna’s world was turned upside down. Her Dad passed away abruptly from a heart aneurism and her Mom followed a year later passing away from Cancer. It broke her heart but instead of letting it ruin her she took that and channeled it into chasing her dreams of pursing a music career and living her life exactly how she wanted to. Thinking outside the box of the norm and living it to the fullest.

It’s the voice that hits you first. It’s big, a bit boisterous. It’s a voice that makes you grin, but it’s also sad and wise, and very observant. It’s a voice that stands you to a shot and a beer, kicks you out onto the dance floor despite your silly misgivings. It’s Cindy Emch’s voice - in every meaning of that word--that comes through on the pioneering queer-country singer and songwriter’s new album The Chaser.
Recorded with her long-running band, The Secret Emchy Society, The Chaser gives Cindy’s funny, deep songs an equally big voice. It’s a record of exact portraiture, country style. Cindy Emch knows how human beings behave when they’re in bars, when they’re lonely, and when they’re in love. And when they’re out of love. The Chaser is the work of an original who looks beyond Saturday night, toward an eternal present.

Her voice is warm as she seduces the listener in a way reminiscent of Sheryl Crow and Liz Phair.
Her new album, Torch & Trouble, is a well-focused blend of earthy singer-songwriter centered Americana music. The thread of meaning that runs through the ten-song collection is hope, redemption & faith in love even as we face daily conflict, change, and challenge.

With her music career traveling in the fast lane, Paige was delivered a blow just before her 15th birthday. She was diagnosed with leukemia. Gigs and songwriting were put on hold and replaced by hospital stays and chemo. Nashville’s music community took notice. They held benefits, songwriters brought guitars to Paige’s hospital room and sang and did everything to help one of their own. When remission was reached, Paige was determined to pay it forward by forming her own charity, Pick’n and Kick’n Cancer With Ava, which helps other kids with cancer. She’s also involved with a number of other similar charities.
Still undergoing treatment for leukemia, Paige has had to cut back on her music right now. Her charitable work, along with homeschooling and most importantly beating cancer for good are her primary focus at the present time. Her goals for the next year include finding a home at a publishing house, developing new relationships with industry professionals, and continuing to co-write for cuts and her own projects.
