In the world of marketing, there are countless strategies and tactics at your disposal, each promising a path to success. In this episode, we dive into a unique and highly effective approach: leveraging quizzes to grow your business!
I recently chatted with my good friend and fellow entrepreneur, Kirsten Tyrrel, about her secret sauce for making quizzes go viral on platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and Pinterest.
But first, you might be thinking, why quizzes?
According to Riddle.com, quizzes are more than 20X (or 2,000%) better than pop-up email collection forms…and get 400% more engagement (time on site) than other email opt-in sites.
Need we say more?
So if you're wondering how to create a successful marketing questionnaire, you're in luck. Kirsten broke it down for us, making it easier than ever to craft that killer marketing quiz.
We've also created a super cool article that tells you all the exciting stuff from this episode. You definitely don't want to miss it, so give it a look right here!
In this episode, Aaron Hale interviews me. I share our origin story and the vision of Millionaire University. I share my perspective on picking an avatar and target audiences, and the importance of just taking action. We discuss the Perfect Curriculum for young future entrepreneurs and talk about how to motivate kids toward entrepreneurship.
One of the greatest luxuries in life is the ability to make decisions.
The great thing about making decisions is that the more you make them and the more willing you are to learn from them, the better you get at making the right ones.
Thus improving the results you get out of life...putting you more in line with the lifestyle you desire to live.
Now yes, no one has full control over how life turns out exactly, that's what keeps it exciting, but you can set yourself up for better options and better results when life throws its curveballs.
So let's talk about 25 tips for making better choices today!
Also, we've put together an awesome, detailed article that captures all the highlights from this episode! Don't miss out and check it out right here!
In today's episode, we will discuss 15 side hustles that you can start today with little to no money!
I've never really loved the term "side hustle" I don't love the word hustle and don't buy into hustle culture. And the word side hustle to me has always implied something you kinda did on the side and didn't take too seriously. But my perspective on this term has changed somewhere recently. A few months ago I started listening to a podcast called The Side Hustle Show with Nick Loper. The combination of hearing stories from Nick's guests on different side hustles they have started and interviewing and working with others who have started side hustles of their own either as a way to start their business or as a way to help make some extra income on the side has caused me to be more open to this term and open to the fact that not everyone is wired like me. And for some people that means starting something on the side that can either support their family for a season or later on turn into that thriving scalable business with systems and processes which is what I REALLY love! BUT you gotta start somewhere and for many, that means starting something on the side...
In today's episode, Brien Gearing interviews the Kind of Side Hustle himself, Nick Loper, and they go into depth on 15 side hustles that you can start today! This has been one of my favorite episodes so far and I got a ton of value out of it personally and I have no doubt you will as well!
We also created an in-depth article on everything that was covered in this episode including all the links and resources discussed, so feel free to check it out here.

We often hear people say "Just take action" but just taking action won't get you the results you want unless it's the right kind of action. In this episode, you'll hear me shoot it on what James needs to do if he wants to succeed with his business. It's one thing to hear me or anyone say "Take effective action" but hearing this coaching call with James might be just the thing to help you better understand what that means and identify where you might need to change something up in your own business. So let's get to it!
I also want to thank James for being so vulnerable and letting us record and use this call so that others who are struggling with something similar can also get unstuck, grow their business, and change their lives for the better.
Today's episode is called Build The Machine.
Owning our own business is great, but if you don't work towards building it in a way that it can work without you always being 100% involved, it can sometimes become more like a job that never goes away.
In today's episode, we talk about the importance of building the machine and how I wasn't taking my own advice, and how it bit me in the butt.
I love being married to my husband and his big entrepreneurial personality and dreams.
Has it been easy? No.
Has he challenged me in ways I never dreamed of? Of course.
Has he pushed me out of my comfort zone more times than I can count? Definitely.
But do I love who I am today because of the risks we've taken and the life we've created together? You know it.
But man I could have used some tips before we started our first business together.
So here are 20 tips for you, to help you thrive when riding the wave of running a business and family with the person you love!
In this episode, we talk about the power of taking fast effective action which is by far the number one thing that allows successful business owners to succeed and holds back those who aren't getting the results they want.
We'll take you behind the scenes of a real-life situation where Brogan and Tyson have recently taken fast effective action for us here at Millionaire University. Sometimes we hear about taking fast effective action but it's one thing hearing it and another to go through a real-life example. It's our hope that this episode helps and inspires you to take your effective implementation skills to the next level!
In this episode, you will learn how to network like a boss! Brien Gearin is back and he's talking with Sean O' Shaughnessey of New Sales Expert.

In today's lesson, we listen in on the 2nd coaching call I had with my attorney Greg Nelson. Greg's built up a successful law practice over the years but has gotten bogged down in e-mail and the day-to-day operations of his business. Greg wants to set up systems and processes to allow him to focus on working on his business vs. working in it.
In today's episode, we take a peak behind the curtain on a coaching call I recently had with my attorney. He opens up about how he's gotten bogged down working in the day-to-day of his business and is ready to take things to the next level and implement the systems and processes that will allow him to get more done by working less.
In Today's lesson we flip the script and Justin and Tara are interviewed by Erik Fisher. They talk about the 5 things that have helped them achieve success in business and life and how you can apply these things to your life and business.
In this episode, Justin speaks with John Teasley on how he started and grew his laundry service business.
In today's episode podcast expert Erik Fisher gives us a podcasting masterclass.
If you have or have ever thought about having your own podcast this is an episode you will not want to miss!
Today I'm joined by productivity expert Erik Fisher of BeyondTheToDoList.com as we discuss how to be more productive so you can grow your business and reach your goals!
In today's lesson Professor Gearin is joined my Tammy Vilaboy or Tat2 Marketing Group to teach us how to come up with your brand story to help grow your business.

In this episode I share the curriculum I would implement if I were in charge of the college education system, and the curriculum that I will implement someday if I start a physical entrepreneurial school of my own. A school that would replace college for young people. I share how we will be adapting this curriculum for our son who just finished high school and how you can adapt it for your own personal situation.
Enjoy!
In this episode we talk about why some businesses plateau and how understanding and using at least one or multiple points of leverage will help you break through those plateaus so you can grow your business and or get back more time to do more of what you love.
In this episode Brien Gearin Speaks with Apolonio (Apps) Garcia of Health Guard Risk Management Software Healthguardsecurity.com on how he went from serving in the Navy to growing a successful Saas business helping Hospitals around the country and their patients stay safe!
Lately, I've been thinking a lot about why it is that some people are consistently successful and why others are consistently NOT reaching their goals or getting the things they want out of life.
As I was thinking of some of the patterns I've noticed, I realized the all the words I was thinking of started with an acronym which spelled LACK.
BOOM!
I've always wanted to come up with a cool acronym!
In today's episode I will talk about why some LACK and others don't and what to do about it!
In this episode we disclose our Top Secret Calendaring system.
Once you have clarity and a vision of what you want to do, you'll have to be organized and have a system for getting crap done!
In today's lesson we talk about the calendaring system that we've developed and have been using for the past 15 years!
In our years of working with people, we've come to find that most aren't super organized and don't have a great way to plan and get essential "to do" items done.
Execution is where the rubber meets the road and if you're not organized and have clear priorities and know where to focus each day you won't reach accomplish your goals.
The system/process we outline in today's episode is super simple, free and something everyone can do.
If you're ready to take you're executing skills to the next level this is an episode you don't want to miss.
PS Share this episode with a friend you think could use it! :)
In today's lesson, Tara and Justin talk about how to find, hire, train, retain, empower, and create win-win relationships with employees contractors, and partners to help you grow your business and reach your goals.
Lately, I've been working with too many people who don't have a clear vision and plan of where they want to go and what they want to accomplish in their life and business. If you don't know where you want to go, then any path will get you there. You'll end up meandering and then wonder why you're not really getting anywhere in life or business.
The crazy thing is recently when I was talking with Brien Gearin about coming on board to help us grow Millionaire University, he asked me if I could send him a business plan, and I realized I didn't really have one...Well, I did sorta but not anything that I could easily send over to him. This allowed me to think through our plan to grow MU to a Billion Dollar Organization over the next 10 years and helped me think through more about how I come up with and write business plans, and how and when you should write a business plan of your own.
I hope you enjoy this episode. Feel free to send me your plan and or any questions you have at justin@millionaireuniversity.com
What would life be life if you didn't have any baggage or fears?
What could one person achieve who lived this way?
I couldn't tell you.
I'm still deep in my mess...but I see a way out.
You want to take that journey with me?
Good, then let's go!
And yes, it will help you reach much more than just your business goals...
If you're brave enough to walk through an important door and face the person standing on the other side.
In this episode I do a coaching call with James Metcalf, young expecting father who needs to change his living and financial circumstance in the next 6 months before the arrival of his new baby.
We help James come up with some business ideas and plans.
At the end I talk about empowerment and how you can take control of your own financial and life circumstances.
I just bought a horse! You heard that right! NOT house...HORSE! :)
I was recently talking with my sister in law Janelle, and I was asking her about her horse business. We got talking and I could smell opportunity for her and me! Now here we are a few weeks later and I'm the proud owner (co-owner) of a beautiful baby barrel race horse names Fergi!
More importantly in this episode I take you inside of my brain and what I was looking for during this call. How I was quickly able to spot the opportunties that were available. I also help you better understand ROI (Return on Investment) and how understanding this has made me a lot of money and helped me to better spot opportunties and structure deals and I teach you how you can do the same!
This isn't something I talk about a lot in too much detail but want to talk about more in future episodes. Please reach out to me and let me know if you grasped the concept and let me know of anything I can clear up in the future! As always you can reach me at justin@millionaireuniversity.com
Enjoy the episode! and please share it with a friend!

For those of you who have been following the podcast, know that we're getting ready to sell our house. It's been pretty busy around here, so we're trying to get as many people as we can over here to help. Tara's brother, Tyson, my brother-in-law, who I interviewed on the last podcast has been staying with us in our guest house, and he's been really helping us get things ready. And just a few days ago we said to him, Hey Tyson, we need more help. And he's like, okay, I know some people. So he's been bringing over his good friend Will who is also a recovering alcoholic/drug addict, and he's been helping us out for the last few days. So that's been awesome. Now I've only talked to Will for a brief second one time and yesterday he came up to me right before he was leaving and just said, "Hey, I just wanna thank you for the podcast. It's really been helping me out." And so then I was talking to Tyson a little bit more about his situation after Will left, which is kind of similar to Tyson's, I said, "Hey, tell him if he listens to all the podcasts, that I'll mentor him if he wants." So last night, as I was laying there in bed and knowing that I needed to record a podcast today, I had all these ideas of different things that I could talk about on the podcast today, but none of them were really pulling out my heart. And I was thinking "What is on my mind right now? Will is on my mind. The people who represent Will are on my mind" Those of you who are struggling in life, but you know, there's something more. And you're just not totally sure how to get there. You just need someone telling you that you can get there and maybe helping, giving you a little bit of groundwork or things to think about. So that's what we're gonna do today. I am basically going to begin to mentor Will and let him know what he should do to get the success in his life that he's looking for. Today we'll go over the 10-step blueprint to help you gain clarity and help you reach your goals!

Today's interview is unlike any podcast I've ever done in my life the last couple weeks. We've had, my brother-in-law who is Tara's brother Tyson, staying with us in our guest house and helping us do some repairs and some different things on our house before we sell it. And Tyson's a recovering alcoholic drug addict has been in and out of jail several times for the last few years. For the past several years. He hasn't even been really a part of our life because we just didn't feel like it was safe with his different things he had going on in relationships. And we just had to totally distance ourself, even though we literally live in the same county, like we're the only family members who live right by each other, but we just couldn't be in contact with him. Now he's living with us and we see him every day all the time. It's pretty wild how it happened. But anyway, he basically has like nothing, like no money, like starting over from scratch after everything that he is been through. So we've given him a job. It's a labor job, but I've kind of been talking to him about goals and where he wants to go from here because we're not gonna be here for very long. And even getting paid the amount that he can get paid from a job like this just isn't going to be enough to take care of the needs that he has to be able to see his kids more often and pay child support. And get back on his feet in the way that he would need just to live a good, normal, healthy life and pay off some debts and stuff. So as I've been talking to him, it just made me think of a lot of people out there. You know, I know this is Millionaire University and the goal is to become financially free and make millions of dollars, but we all start somewhere. So I thought it might be kind of cool as I'm talking to Tyson and we're working together and working with him, and, you know, I can't take any of the credit when I believe when the student is ready, the teacher will appear and this guy is ready. He's humble, he's, he's a listener, but a lot of the things that I've been talking to him about I thought would be good for you guys to hear. And I think there's a lot of good takeaways that you can take from the things that we've been talking about. So anyway, I, I asked him, I said, Hey, do you want me to interview you? And he's like, okay, sure. And I thought we would share like two to five minutes of his background just kind of show, Hey, Tyson's kind of hit rock bottom and we're gonna help him on his way. But this interview just turned into so much more and I just let him talk and I listened. Of course I interjected from time to time, but I just listened. And at first I thought, oh, I like, this is Millionaire University. What does a story about someone who has hit rock bottom and struggled with drugs and alcohol and relationships and gone to prison? Like, what does that have to do with. Making money in Millionaire University. So I thought about editing it down to like 20 minutes, but I, I just couldn't, I don't know, maybe it is just me cuz he's family, but I just have to believe that there's someone out there who has to hear his story. So I'm just gonna put it all out there.

I've worked with my husband for 17 years And we almost got divorced Here are 9 quick tips for working with your spouse 1. Don't be a dream killer When my husband came to me with his first idea, we were pregnant & broke. His idea excited & terrified me. But I didn't kill it. I fed it & it changed me, and we've had some crazy success. I know I'm better today because of the risks we took long ago
Don't suffer in silence I never wanted to be a burden to my husband so I stressed in silence. Over time we were distant. Distance became disconnection. Don't be afraid to tell your partner what you love & what terrifies you about the life & business you are creating together.
Your sex life is a priority A sexless marriage & a thriving business aren't that fun. Trust me. You can make all the money in the world, but if there's no intimacy in your marriage, the business just becomes a thing to do. Be intentional & create space for intimacy every day.
Tell your partner 5 things you like about them before you critique them We all work hard. But does our spouse see it? Before you tell them what's bugging you about working with them.Tell them 5 things you appreciate . When we are seen we are more open to feedback.
Develop a backboneWhen we started our 1st business I was terrified. I had no idea how to run a business. So I leaned on my husband A LOT. If he made a mistake, I got MAD. I was afraid and I blamed him for it. So I developed skills & my own confidence & now we stand together.
Find your sweet spot You are GOOD at something and your partner is GOOD at something . Do you know how to make your differences work together? Opposites attract so learn to use and leverage those differences to create a well-rounded business . It will be magic if you do 7. Let your partner goIf you can't be on your own, you'll struggle being together. If your partner makes you feel bad, then you'll have to control them to feel good. They don't MAKE you feel anything. You are responsible for your own emotions. It's always been you facing you
Let them see ALL of you I used to hide the "ugly" parts of myself thinking my husband would reject me. But I was blocking intimacy. I became robotic. But then I broke and he saw it all. And he accepted it all. I've never felt more loved. And we've never worked better together
Love the HECK out of your partner Your person is alive. Their heart is beating and they are standing in front of you today. That is a miracle in and of itself. Be sure to tell them EVERY DAY what they mean to you . Learn to adore them. And let them adore you back. Running a business with your partner can be the BEST or WORST thing in your life. And it's all about how much you are willing to face yourself. Change you, change your marriage and your business will grow always...
If you have any tips for working with your partner, I'd love to hear them. You can reach me at...Tara@MillionaireUniversity.com

2 years ago Brady was working a W-2 and not liking his job. He wanted more for him and his family but wasn't sure what to do. We got on a call. I was quickly able to identify the one thing he needed to focus on, which he did and today he's making a high 6 figure income (on his way to 7) and living his dream life with his family in Costa Rica. He was excited for a round 2 coaching call where he could ask some more questions about where to go next. There were a lot of valuable nuggets in this call so we decided to take some parts of that it and turn it into a podcast so you can be a fly on the wall for this coaching session. Enjoy! Baggage. We all have it. When I showed up to the very first business we started, I had it. Obviously, I had no idea I had it, but it was there. Justin always had so many ideas and was so excited. When he came to me with those ideas, I was scared first, then excited, then stressed and excited. It was fun at times and so heavy at times. He rocked my world. Why was he so different than me? It wasn't until I realized how differently we were thinking about our business... And how much that was affecting our business and personal life, to say the least!

Business ideas are a dime a dozen. Execution is everything. I could say that execution is the hard part, but it's really not. Coming up with an execution plan is easy as well. We live in the information age. Everything we could ever want to learn about making money and marketing and selling our product or service is literally at our fingertips. So if ideas aren't the hard part and coming up with ways to market and sell your product or service aren't the hard part...why is it that not everyone is a deca-millionaire with a thriving business that gives them the financial and life freedom they dream of? The truth is, our brains have been programmed for survival and are not always the best at helping us get the things we really want. You combine that with the modern-day, instant gratification world we live in, it's no wonder why we struggle to achieve our long-term goals, the things that we truly care about in life. But our brains are incredibly powerful as well and the modern age we live in can be a huge benefit. We just need to be aware of what we're dealing with and set up the right system for long-term success! Bonus: To get an additional 17 Stay on Track Hacks, click here.

The other day I was pretty frustrated with how hard I've been working to get what appeared to be a very minimal result but then as I was talking with Tara and later my partner Trey, I was reminded of a lesson I use to teach my House Flipping Clients. If it wasn't for this lesson I would have quit every business I've been in before it grew to anything incredible. This is the kinda stuff that they don't teach you in school and is not the way most people think. Hopefully this mindset shift will help you push through the hard times and get to exponential heights in your business.

Just a few days ago Justin talked to Ben about teaming up with him and Ben to help them build their $100M business. Even though the time was short Justin didn't want to wait much longer for an answer. Was Ben in or out..?
Just 72 hours ago Justin was focusing on improving his pickle ball skills. But then something changed. In this episode you'll hear how a partnership was formed in less than 72 hours. Also Justin explains how he looks at business.
Did he make a mistake..? Justin was living the good life but after 9 months has decided to come out of "retirement" and start another business with a goal of creating a 100M dollar business in 5 years.
Justin and Tara are back after a year long hiatus. A lot has happened including selling their business almost 9 months ago. Justin thought he was retired until THIS happened...An epic update on the past year and what's happening next...
Five years ago, I decided to quit. I decided I was done teaching people how to flip houses. Then I met someone… a guy named Russell Brunson. And that meeting changed everything…
In business, you’re going to have bad days. You’re going to face challenges and obstacles. And when the problems come, a lot of people quit. But here’s the thing… problems are a GOOD thing.
The last few days have been kind of crazy. We all kind of have our own “bubble,” in a way… and I found myself outside my bubble, ha ha. I learned a few things… 6 things, to be exact…
Last week, we held our annual Flip Hacking LIVE event. And I don’t even know where to begin… it was incredible. Amazing. Awe-inspiring. But words like this aren’t enough… so let’s go deeper…
Money represents the amount of people you can impact. Tara and I always wanted to be successful so we could give back. The first year we made $1,000,000, I thought, “We made it. We’ve done it.” But I realized something…
A couple months ago, we decided to bring on a full-time videographer to help us shoot and edit more video content. And this guy was talented. Super talented. But… let’s just say he and I didn’t “click.”
This is one of those “brain shifts” that can make all the difference between success and failure in your business, in your relationships, and in life in general. But if I’m being honest… I almost didn’t share this. I didn’t want to.
This past weekend we had our 7 Figure Flipping event in Baltimore… and it was by far the best event we’ve ever held. But one little issue came up… just one tiny problem.
I had an interesting conversation last week with a guy who’s one of the best in the world in his field. And it was seriously eye-opening…
Running a business isn’t easy. It never was easy, and it’s never going to be easy. It will always be competitive. So if you want to last as an entrepreneur… you have to adapt.
You guys… I discovered the secret to happiness. (I’m not kidding.) Two things happened to me this past week… and these two things taught me something HUGE.
You’re going to fail. You’re going to get stuck sometimes. You’re going to hit walls. It’s going to get hard. And that’s good. Here’s why…
Like any business, house flipping has its share of ups and downs. It’s part of business. It’s part of life. When the going gets tough, you have two choices...
Sometimes crazy things happen. And the best thing you can do is to be there for your family when things go off the rails. Like when I almost got arrested the other day...
Last week, we held a live call with 11 of the top house flippers and wholesalers in the country… and they each shared their #1 success strategy! If you missed it, listen to the replay here...
When I first started flipping houses, things didn’t go so well. We didn’t have a lot of money or free time, and for a while, all my wife Tara and I could talk about was the business. Our relationship was suffering…
What’s the difference between the people who’re struggling to find even 1 deal… versus the people who’re flipping or wholesaling 10, 20, 30+ houses per month? It comes down to 1 thing...
Okay, question time... What’s the difference between the entrepreneurs who’re struggling versus the people who’re achieving success and changing their lives? It comes down to 1 thing.
Okay, confession time... sometimes people get mad at me. I get some “hate mail” from time to time, ha ha. And they say things like...
I just talked to a guy who I was thinking of hiring to help me grow my business. He has a ton of experience... and he's really smart. But there's one thing about him that really worried me. He has a lot of “ideas.” And that makes me nervous.
A couple months ago, my son decided he wanted to start a business. He's 11 years old... and when he told me his idea, I couldn't have been more proud of him. But there's just one problem...
This is one of the hardest things I’ve done in years. Seriously… it feels like I’m cutting off my arm or something, ha ha… But it’s important. So here I go…
Tara and I just spent several days hanging out with some seriously high-level entrepreneurs and business owners… I’m talking about 8-figure and 9-figure income earners…
Today, we’re going to talk about something different… something we don’t usually talk about. And that’s FAITH. Here’s why we’re bringing this up today…
Are you feeling uncomfortable? I hope you are… because if you want to succeed as an entrepreneur of any kind, you have to get way outside your comfort zone.
I think a lot of entrepreneurs believe opportunities are something that “just happen” to some people. That couldn’t be further from the truth…
Facebook ads are one of the best ways to get customers… but if you don’t know what you’re doing, you’ll waste a ton of money. Knowing the ins-and-outs of Facebook ads is super important…
We’ve decided to “up the stakes” and start a bet against each other… but before we get into that, here’s what you need to know about Facebook ads… this is crazy stuff!
If you’ve been wondering “What in the world happened to Justin and Tara?!” then you’re in luck… because we’re back with some wild stories to tell!
So, Tara got a nasty email the other day… which led to an interesting turn of events. Let me explain…

Sometimes we try to do too much. And because we try to do too much, we miss the target on what really matters…
Raising prices is hard. We don’t seem to like doing it… and yet the impact it can have is huge. And no, I’m not just talking about making more money. There’s a lot more to it than that…
If I told you that you could 10X your productivity, get more done, feel better about yourself and your work, and spend more time with your family doing what you love, all by setting aside just 15 minutes of your morning… would you want to know how?
Have you ever had too many ideas for your business and you’re not sure which one you should pursue? Or you’re feeling pulled in all directions but you’re not making much progress, because you’re trying to do too many things?
