A mysterious fortune-teller has arrived in Snaggleton! Madame Rattles claims she can read minds, uncover secrets and speak to spirits. Fergus, Sir Chucklenugget and Grumblegut are amazed when she appears to know everything about them.
But Wizzlethorp and Sparky are suspicious. In this funny kids story podcast, they notice that Madame Rattles is using clever tricks instead of real magic:

By the next day, the weed has grown to the size of a cat and is creeping her out by watching her every move. By day three, it has grown into a colossal Titan-Tangler the size of a house, looming right over Snaggleton!
When Sylvaris tries to pull it up, the ground explodes with hundreds of slimy, root-like tentacles. A vine snatches her up, and soon, the town's strongest heroes suffer the exact same fate trying to rescue her.
With all the big heroes trapped, Sir Chucklenugget blows his brass hunting horn to summon the backup. Out march Nolan the Gnome Knight and the tiny Mini Might Battalion! Knowing their small swords are like toothpicks against the massive trunk, Nolan looks down and spots a clever strategy: the thousands of tiny, tight root hairs holding the monster to the earth.

Bases on nGulliver's travels! Captain Barnacle Bones is a pirate who loves a loud, confident, and unbelievably boastful boast! While steering his ship, The Scurvy Dog, he brags to his cook, Jolly Jane, that he can outwit any wave in the ocean. But a magical storm filled with green and purple lightning proves him wrong, washing him completely overboard into the cold, raging sea!
When the captain wakes up, he finds himself on a strange beach, tied down by hundreds of tiny ropes made of tough nettle-fibre. He has landed in the Nettlewood, home to the tiny, thumb-sized Nettle-Goblins! These fierce little soldiers are locked in a "tremendous war" with a neighboring tribe called the Bog-Hoppers over a very silly rule: the proper way to eat a Glimmer-worm!
To win back his freedom, his parrot Periwinkle, and his extravagant hat, Captain Barnacle Bones strikes a bargain to help them:
- The Giant Pirate: For the tiny goblins, the captain is a massive Man-Mountain! He easily scoops up the entire enemy fleet of canoes and puts them right into his coat pocket.
- The Mushroom Feast: Hailed as a hero, the captain celebrates by greedily eating their entire winter-store of mushrooms and beetle-berries, causing the worried goblins to plot a trap to disable their giant, hungry guest!
Realizing he has outstayed his welcome, the captain sneaks away on a raft at dawn, only to get sucked into a powerful whirlpool. When he wakes up this time, the world has completely flipped! The blades of grass are like towering trees—Captain Barnacle Bones has shrunk, and a colossal Titan Child picks him up like a little doll!
Placed inside a massive dollhouse, the tiny pirate faces his greatest, most "shrunk-down" challenges, from fending off a giant slobbering puppy to fighting a wasp the size of an eagle with his tiny cutlass! Thankfully, the child's wise Mother realizes he belongs on the sea and helps him spot The Scurvy Dog through a giant telescope. Placed gently back onto his deck, the captain proudly tells his crew that he has "tamed the titans," proving that no matter how big or small you are, a true pirate always finds his way home!

The Scroll of the Coward: Facing the Heavy Truth 🛡️🧀📖
"A comfortable lie is heavy to carry... But the truth is light."
Sir Chucklenugget is in his absolute element, standing on a sturdy oak table at the Glugging Gargoyle tavern and telling his favorite story! He regales the gasping crowd with the legendary tale of his ancestor, Sir Reginald Iron-Pants, who supposedly fought off thousands of monsters from the Great Goblin Army completely alone for three days and three nights. The village erupts in cheers for the bravest knight who ever lived!
But the very next day, while cleaning out the dusty castle attic, Sir Chucklenugget stumbles over a loose floorboard and finds the private diary of Sir Iron-Pants himself. As he reads the real account of that fateful night, the smile slides off his face like a fried egg on a greasy plate. The legend is a giant lie! Fearing his family name will be ruined, a panicked Chucklenugget holds the book out over the fireplace, determined to burn the history to save the legend.
Suddenly, Nolan, the tiny three-inch-tall Gnome Knight, commands him to stop! Nolan shares a magnificent piece of wisdom: a comfortable lie is far too heavy to carry every day, but the truth is light. Once you drop the lie, you are finally free.
In this kids story podcast episode, Sir Chucklenugget finds the ultimate courage—the bravery to face the truth. He marches back to the tavern and reads the real diary aloud to the entire village:
- The Pantry Trap: Sir Iron-Pants didn't fight at all! He went to the kitchen for a snack to calm his nerves, got stuck inside the pantry when the doorknob fell off, and spent the battle eating cheese in the dark.
- The Sandstone Melt: The goblin army didn't flee from a whirlwind of steel; they ran away because they were made of sandstone-dust and a massive rainstorm threatened to turn them into mud-puddles!
Instead of mocking him, the village breaks into roars of laughter and loves the ancestor even more for being an accidentally victorious snacker! Wizzlethorp reminds the knight that it takes a great deal of courage to fight a dragon, but it takes even more courage to destroy a legend to save the truth.

"A bad worker blames his tools."
Grumblegut the Ogre is usually a very confident smasher of things, but today he is trying to be delicate. He wants to carve a giant stone centipede as a birthday present for his favorite aunt, Auntie Gravel-Guts! The only problem is that every time he taps his chisel, the stone shatters. Panic bubbles in his belly because the birthday is tomorrow!
Instead of slowing down, Grumblegut loses his temper and blames everything but himself:
- The Stone: He claims the first rock is too soft, so he climbs the steep Moonshadow Mountains to drag back a massive slab of hard Midnight Granite.
- The Hammer: When his old wooden mallet dents against the granite, he screams that it's a "marshmallow on a stick" and gets Sir Chucklenugget to forge a gleaming steel hammer called The Master-Whacker.
- The Chisel: When he hits the granite too hard and knocks the centipede's head right off, he blames his rusty chisel and runs to Sparky Flarkbottom for a high-speed, steam-powered Smash-hammer machine.
The roaring machine completely gets away from him, exploding his third rock into a pile of red sand! Surrounded by three ruined rocks and three failures, Grumblegut falls to his knees in a hopeless rage.
Thankfully, Lexi Lightdancer the pixie floats down to help. She gently reminds him that the stone reflects the spirit—if you are jagged inside, the stone will break. She teaches him a magnificent breathing exercise: Mountain in, sand out.

Wizard Wizzlethorp travels deep into the Will-o'-the-Wispwater Woods for the Summit of Sparks—the Annual Grand Gathering of Wizards! He is determined to impress the crowd, including the Grand High Mage, a 900-year-old goblin named Elder Grot. But standing in his way is the loud and talented Zazarac the Zealous, who loves to tease him and calls him "Wizzle-Flop."
The competition features three magical categories:
- The Levitation Test: Wizzlethorp does beautifully, lifting a massive boulder ten feet into the air with a perfectly still hover! 🪨
- The Polymorph Test: Zazarac turns mud into a fountain of chocolate and strawberries, while Wizzlethorp's spell leaves him with a bucket of warm, flavorless sludge. 🥣
- The Grand Finale Fireworks: This is the spell Wizzlethorp has practiced all year to create a majestic firework dragon. But when he waves his wand, it lets out a sad wheeze and summons a tiny, tired smoke-worm that coughs once and vanishes. 🐛
As the crowd giggles, Wizzlethorp is completely heartbroken. Elder Grot pulls him aside and points out that his fire-magic hasn't improved in ten years. When Wizzlethorp admits he was too proud to ask for help because he was afraid of looking stupid, Elder Grot shares a magnificent piece of wisdom: “Go. Be a fool for five minutes. Ask.”

Outsmarting the Wizard! 💎🧛♀️🕵️♂️
Based on the famous Sherlock Holmes mystery, A Scandal in Bohemia!
On a stormy night, a masked nobleman arrives at Wizard Wizzlethorp’s tower in deep trouble. Wizzlethorp uses his brilliant powers of deduction to identify him instantly as Lord Elmsworth! The proud half-elf reveals that his Memory Crystal is held by Lady Seraphina, an elegant vampire from the Moonshadow Mountains. He claims she is using it to blackmail him with a deeply embarrassing secret from his youth that would ruin his upcoming royal wedding!
Wizzlethorp and Stanky head to the ancient castle in disguise to investigate. To find where the crystal is hidden, the wizard stages a grand distraction by releasing a swarm of buzzing Fizzleflies! Just as expected, Lady Seraphina rushes to protect her prize, touching a loose stone in the fireplace to check a hidden compartment.
But this vampire is far cleverer than they anticipated! When our heroes sneak back after dark to retrieve the crystal, the hiding place is empty except for a note addressed to "The Wizard in the Mismatched Shoes!"

Sir Chucklenugget has had a very wet and muddy morning wrestling a Slobber-Mouth Swamp-Squid. On his trudge home, his metal boot hits a strange object hidden deep in the muck—a melon-sized crystal glowing with a pulsing pink light and covered in deep, swirling grooves. But the strangest part? The crystal is making a loud, steady sound: Boof-tss. Boof-tss. Boof-tss. The knight immediately decides it must be a weapon, a warning, or a dragon-summoning beacon! He marches straight to Wizzlethorp’s tower to find the answer. The wizard tries casting spells and scribbling equations, thinking it’s a mathematical code calculating the distance to the moon. Frustrated and confused, Chucklenugget runs to Granny Gigglesnort, who drops it into her turnip soup thinking it's a timer stone—but it just makes the kitchen noisy! Finally, he visits Sparky Flarkbottom, who tries to use it as a battery to power a Clockwork Octopus, only to declare it a "useless paperweight."
Defeated, the heroes gather at the tavern, staring gloomily at the relentless, thumping rock. They are completely baffled because it doesn't have an answer.
In this kids story podcast episode, the whole village stops worrying about rules and reasons and just starts to dance. They learn that some of the very best things in life—like music, art, and playing—don't need to have a serious reason to exist. They are wonderful just because they bring us joy!

Gerald the Duck is, without a doubt, the most magnificent duck in Snaggleton. He has cloud-white feathers, a polished orange beak, and a very dignified waddle. He is also, unfortunately, rather lazy! Lately, Gerald has decided that waking up early to hunt for delicious Sludge-Snails in the castle moat is far too "inconvenient".
Because he loves his beauty sleep, Gerald starts waking up late—only to find that the other ducks have already eaten every single snack in the water! When Nolan the Gnome Knight warns him that "those who sleep don't catch any fish," Gerald simply sniffs and points out that he eats snails, not fish, completely missing the point!
To teach him a lesson about effort, Nolan commands Gerald to fly him to Sparky Flarkbottom’s workshop. There, Gerald watches the gnome inventor try to build an Auto-Rocking Hammock. Sparky spends the entire day failing.
Instead of giving up, Sparky keeps adjusting her gears until she finally achieves success on Test Three. She shows Gerald her backyard—a mountain of junk filled with exploded boilers and half-melted robots. Sparky proudly calls them her "lessons," proving that you have to be awake to make mistakes, and you have to make mistakes to get the prize!

Sparky Flarkbottom’s workshop sounds like a dragon chewing on a bag of spanners! She is hard at work grinding iron for her latest masterpiece, the Lava Toaster. But all that grinding fills the air with a thick cloud of shiny, silver metal dust.
Suddenly, a swarm of tiny, round beetles called Flash-Mites flies through the window. These little bugs have a very special, very annoying talent: whenever they get excited, they flash with a blinding white glare! And nothing excites a Flash-Mite more than a fresh pile of metal dust.
Within seconds, Sparky is blinded by a ring of pure, white light! She panics and tries to fight the pests with every invention she can think of:
- The Swat-Wack-Smasher: A spinning fan of fly-swatters that misses the bugs but smashes her own furniture! 🧹
- The Gale-Force Gnat-Vac: A vacuum that accidentally sucks up her plans and kicks up more dust! 💨
- The Sticky-Mist Blaster: A marshmallow-and-glue cannon that slides right off the oily bugs and glues Sparky’s boots to the floor! 🍯
When Wizzlethorpe the Wizard arrives, he tells her to do the hardest thing of all: freeze. As soon as Sparky stops fighting, the dust settles, the blinding glare turns into a soft candlelight glow, and the bugs begin to happily munch on the metal dust.
In this kids story podcast episode, Wizzlethorpe helps Sparky design a brilliant, sustainable system. Instead of fighting the bugs, she invites them to dinner! They get a free meal, Sparky gets a perfectly clean workshop floor, and she creates the brightest, eco-friendly lanterns in Snaggleton. Based on the famous Sherlock Holmes mystery, The Adventure of the Speckled Band!
The night is wild and stormy in Magimajura, but the real chill is inside the Great Tree. Willowisp, a terrified wood sprite, seeks out Wizzlethorp and Stanky with a heartbreaking mystery. Her twin brother, Fern, died a year ago in a room magically locked from the inside, his last words a warning about a "whispering vine". Now, Willowisp has been moved into that same room and hears the exact same creepy, rustling sound.
Wizzlethorp knows that when things seem magical or spooky, there is usually a scientific explanation hidden in the shadows. He uses logic—a way of thinking using facts—to examine the "little things" Sir Chucklenugget missed.
As the heroes wait in the dark, the "whispering vine" begins to slither! Wizzlethorp must eliminate the impossible—if a plant is moving, it isn't a plant at all. What could it be?!

Granny Gigglesnort is busy at her iron cauldron, stirring up a liquid that gloops and glurped. Today is the day she perfects her Polymorph Potion—the brew of becoming! One sip, and her brave volunteer, Stanky, should be able to transform into any creature he wishes.
But as it turns out, shape-shifting is a lot harder than it looks! Stanky tries to visualize majestic creatures, but the results are a bit... surprising:
- The Rhino: Stanky wants to be a silver-horned unicorn, but he turns into a heavy, grey Rhinoceros that smashes the kitchen table!
- The Turkey: Stanky tries for a noble Griffin, but ends up as a wobbly, confused Turkey with a long, red wattle.
- The "B-Grade" Chimera: Stanky attempts to become a legendary Chimera, but becomes a horrificulous mess with a poodle body, a chicken head, a rat head, and a frog for a tail!
Granny feels like a failure and almost hangs up her witch's hat, but Stanky reminds her of her own wise words: "Fall down seven times, stand up eight!" He encourages her not to give up, even after three "zoos of accidents".
In this kids story podcast episode, Granny tries one more time with a shimmering Dragon Scale for stability. Watch as her eighth attempt finally takes flight, teaching us all that failure isn't the end, it's just the first step toward becoming a dragon!

She claims it’s a Sapphire-Scaled Snooze-Drake, a gentle, lazy pet that loves milk and soft pillows. But when the egg hatches, out pops "Puffy"—a bright orange creature with glowing red eyes that definitely doesn't want milk!
When Wizzlethorp the Wizard arrives to save the day, he reveals the truth: Puffy isn't a Snooze-Drake at all, but a Magma-Maw Salamander that eats wood and lives in volcanoes! Granny must finally admit her mistake and realize that there is no shame in not knowing something—the real trouble comes from pretending to be an expert when you’re actually confused

The Grey-Day Glitch: The Magic of Paying Attention 🌫️🎨
It was a boring day in Snaggleton. The air felt stale, and the sky was a flat, featureless sheet of grey. Fergus O’Gold didn't care about his gold, Sir Chucklenugget thought the stone was too hard, and the Terrible Trio couldn't even be bothered to smash rocks. A heavy "Boredom Fog" rolled in from the Whispering Woods, making everyone feel grumpier and heavier by the second.
But Sylvaris the Elf refused to give up! While walking through the woods, she noticed a tiny Crimson-Spotted Hum-Bug struggling to climb a leaf. By taking delight in that one small thing, her joy began to burn away the fog! Her hair flashed from beige to brilliant pink as she realized a magnificent truth: the world is only boring because we stopped looking at it.

Sir Chucklenugget and the Metal-Munching Manticore! 🛡️🦁

While trying to show off his "Knightly Strength" by lifting his own castle drawbridge with his bare hands, he hears a loud SNAP! The bridge crashes into the moat, and the knight is so ashamed that he tells a giant, scary lie about a Metal-Munching Manticore attacking the castle!
Suddenly, the whole village of Snaggleton is in a panic!
Sir Chucklenugget even goes as far as denting his own beloved armor with a rock to make his "fierce battle" story look real. But when he sees his friends putting themselves in danger for his lie, he realizes that the truth is the only thing that can truly save the day.

Force vs. Communication! ✍️🛡️
The peace in Snaggleton is shattered by a thumping so loud it rattles every glass in the tavern! A colossal, two-headed nightmare called an Ettin has stepped out of the mist, and it is ten times the size of an ogre! The heads, Bash and Mash, can’t stop arguing with each other, but they both agree on one thing: they want to stomp Snaggleton flat!
Sir Chucklenugget charges in with his flaming magical sword, but it bounces off the Ettin's big toe like a spoon hitting a wall! Even Grumblegut’s boulders and Trolla’s slimy sneezes do absolutely nothing against the giant beast. Wizzlethorp realizes that the monster is too thick for magic and too big for swords—they are just "ants biting an elephant."
Just when things look their darkest, Sparky Flarkbottom reveals a remarkable invention: the Sky-Scrawler! It’s not a weapon of force, but a pressurized pen that sprays rainbow-colored smoke. It’s up to the Scary Fairy to overcome her fear, fly high above the bickering heads, and write a message in the sky that can be seen for miles.
Will a simple plea for help be enough to bring the Thundersmashers and the Goblin King to the rescue before Snaggleton becomes a pancake? This episode teaches us a magnificent lesson: sometimes the mightiest weapon isn't a sharp sword, but the ability to communicate and ask for help!

The Case of the Crawling Knight 🕵️♂️🏰
Based on the famous Sherlock Holmes mystery, The Adventure of the Creeping Man!
Something is terribly, horribly wrong with Sir Chucklenugget! Nolan, the captain of the Mini Might Battalion, arrives at Wizzlethorp’s tower with a frantic report: the once-cheerful knight has become grumpy, aggressive, and has been seen crawling along the castle walls on all fours like a creature! Even the castle ducks are quacking in terror whenever he comes near!
Wizzlethorp (our Sherlock) and the patchwork creature Stanky (our Watson) begin to investigate. They find a mysterious potion bottle with a strange, earthy smell—an elixir that grants gremlin-like agility but slowly destroys the user’s mind, replacing their kindness with wild, animal-like rage.
The trail leads deep into the Whispering Woods to the grimy hut of a shady half-troll named Fizzlewort. The village of Snaggleton is absolutely miserable. Instead of the smell of fresh bread, the air is filled with the scent of dusty hay and the sound of everyone scratching! 😖 It is the Day of the First Founder, and ancient law says everyone must wear a shirt made of dried, scratchy brown grass.
- Fergus O’Gold is mourning his silk suits.
- Grumblegut the Ogre feels like he's being bitten by a thousand ants.
- Sir Chucklenugget insists everyone must suffer through the itch to honor the Founder's "toughness".
But Sparky Flarkbottom isn't so sure. Her inventor’s brain thinks wearing a lawn is just silly! 🧐 She heads to Wizzlethorpe’s tower to find the Founder’s original diary. When she blows off the dust and reads the entries, she discovers a "magnificent" secret: The Founder didn't wear grass to be tough—he wore it because a windstorm blew his laundry into a tree! 🌬️🌳 He actually hated the shirt and wished he had better clothespins!

Sparky and the Earmuffs of Agreement 🎧🏗️
Sparky Flarkbottom has a magnificent, steam-powered idea: she’s going to build a high-tech watchtower called The Clockwork Sky-Spire! However, when she picks the soft, squishy Sludgebrook Swamp as the location, her friends try to warn her that a heavy metal tower will sink like a wrench in custard.
Sparky doesn't want to hear "no," so she visits Wizzlethorp the Wizard, who gives her the Earmuffs of Agreement. These magical pink muffs filter out all negativity, turning every warning into a sweet compliment:
- When Jinx screams "huge mistake," Sparky hears "magnificent cake".
- When Snickerfang warns the tower will fall, the muffs translate it as being "renowned".
Sparky happily builds her tower, deaf to the truth, until the structure begins a sickening tilt into the mud. It takes a well-aimed mud ball from Grumblegut the Ogre to knock the earmuffs off and bring Sparky back to reality!
In this episode, Sparky learns a remarkable lesson: while it feels nice when everyone agrees with you, it is much safer to listen to the people who tell you the truth—even if they’re shouting it from a bog!

Based on the classic tale of Moby Dick, this kids story podcast episode is a journey about what happens when an obsession takes over your heart!
Sir Chucklenugget the Knight has just won the "Shiniest Armor" award and a magnificent magical lance called Gleamfang. But during a peaceful picnic, the ground trembles and a legendary creature—the Great Glimmering Gopher—erupts from the earth and snatches his prize!
Driven by a dark obsession to get his "shiny" back, Sir Chucklenugget commissions Sparky Flarkbottom to build the Mecha-Mole, a giant steam-powered digging machine. Along with a brave crew—Gerta Grimswill and Stanky—the knight plunges deep into the earth.
As they dive deeper, the knight is so focused on his revenge that he almost misses the beauty of the underground world:

The Night of the Neon Slime 🧪💚
It’s the "sticky season" in Snaggleton, a time when the Slithering Stream does something remarkably rude: it turns thick, gooey, and glowing neon green! 🤢 For years, the villagers have been terrified. They believe a giant Mountain Spirit has a terrible cold and is sneezing into their river! 🤧
To stop the "Giant Sneeze" from blowing their houses down, the villagers gather for a sacrificial fashion show. Fergus brings a gold-threaded hanky, Sir Chucklenugget brings a chainmail one, and even Sparky brings a self-folding hanky that looks like a confused pretzel. They toss their laundry into the river, hoping to wipe the Spirit's nose and save the day.
But Wizard Wizzlethorpe chooses science over superstition! 🧐 While everyone else is cowering, he puts on his magical magnifying goggles to see what’s really in the water.
Is it giant monster snot... or is it Glimmer-Algae? 🦠✨ Wizzlethorpe discovers that the river isn't sick—it’s having a microscopic party! Instead of a scary omen, the green glow is actually millions of tiny, glowing creatures dancing in the warm water.

To fix the problem, Sparky invents the Life-Bot—a shiny metal gnome designed to handle all the "boring and irritating" parts of being human. 🛠️

The air in Wizzlethorp the Wizard's tower usually smells like magic, but today it smells like... burnt broccoli? 🥦 Wizzlethorp is thrilled because he has finally brewed the legendary Elixir of the Iron Mountain! According to an ancient goblin scroll, this grey sludge makes anyone invincible—swords will shatter against them and dragon fire will feel like a tickle!
Wizzlethorp is so sure of his "cherished belief" in the scroll that he refuses to test it. He wants to pour it straight onto Sir Chucklenugget’s armor before the knight goes on patrol! ⚔️ But Sparky Flarkbottom and Stanky aren't so sure. They insist on a "science test" using a pumpkin from Granny Gigglesnort’s garden.
Snotbeard the Giant gives the coated pumpkin a tiny tap, and—CRACK!—it doesn't just dent; it explodes into a thousand brittle pieces! 🎃💥 Wizzlethorp is shocked. His "invincible" potion didn't turn the pumpkin into iron; it turned it into thin, fragile sugar!
Sparky realizes the mistake: Wizzlethorp used Sugar-Root instead of Stone-Root. He didn't make a potion of invincibility; he made a heavy-duty candy glaze! 🍭 Wizzlethorp learns a big lesson: no matter how much you want to believe an ancient scroll, you must always look at the facts and test your ideas before you put your friends in danger.

Wizzlethorp (our Sherlock) and the patchwork creature Stanky (our Watson) investigate and find a tiny clue: a miniature silver wrench! 🔧 This tool belongs to a Tinker-mite—a race of tiny, brilliant craftsmen no taller than a teacup. ☕️
Wizzlethorp realizes the Tinker-mite isn't a common criminal; he is searching for something hidden inside one specific gnome from an experimental batch of six. Five have already been smashed! The race is on to find the sixth gnome, currently sitting in the garden of Sylvaris the Elf. 🧝♀️
The heroes set a clever trap using clockwork messenger bees 🐝 to lure the "smasher" to the tower. When they capture the tiny Widget Spring-Coil, they discover a heartbreaking story: his people's home, the Great Tinker-Tree, is dying! 🌳 The only thing that can save it is the Heart-Seed, a golden acorn hidden inside one of the statues by Widget’s brother.
Will the Heart-Seed be found in the final gnome? Join Wizzlethorp and his friends as they solve a mystery of survival and learn that the greatest treasures are often hidden in the most unusual places! 💎✨

Suddenly, a strange thing happens: a dark, grumpy rain cloud appears right over his head! ⛈️ No matter where he runs, the cloud follows, raining on his parade. The angrier he gets at his work, the bigger the storm grows—until there’s thunder, lightning, and a full-blown hurricane in the middle of the quarry!

🌟 The Feature: The Mapinguari!
Today, we meet a colossal, backward-footed beast called the Mapinguari (Mah-peen-GWAH-ree)! He is a ginormous giant covered in reddish-brown fur who lets out a roar that sounds like a thousand garbage trucks fighting!
- The Goal: The Mapinguari is a protector of the forest and is especially fond of the sloth—the slowest, laziest creature in the Amazon! He has a very tricky feature: his feet are turned backward, so his footprints lead you the wrong way!
- A Horrendous Mistake: In one story, a hunter saw the giant footprints and ran in the opposite direction to get away. But because of the backward feet trick, he ran straight into the creature’s massive arms! It led to a horrendous fight—which is a very shocking and frightening fight!
- Survival Tip: If you see those huge footprints, don't be bamboozled (completely surprised and confused)! To escape, try running backwards yourself. The Mapinguari will be so mixed up by your trail that he'll get completely lost trying to figure out which way is forward!

The Word-War: Rocks vs. Words! 🪨🗣️
Grumblegut the Ogre is visiting his cousins, the Thundersmashers! 🏔️ But instead of playing games, he finds them in a rage, ready to throw massive boulders at a peaceful goblin village below. Why? Because the cousins think the goblins are "BAD!" 😠
Grumblegut realizes his cousins are stuck using one tiny word to describe the whole world. He decides to teach them a lesson about vocabulary:
- Is the lunch "Bad," or is it just Bland? 🥣
- Is the rain "Bad," or is it just Wet and Necessary? 🌧️
- Are the goblins "Wicked," or are their slug-snacks just Disgusting to an ogre? 🤢
Grumblegut shows them that when you call everything "Bad," the only thing you can do is smash it. But if you use the right words—like Annoying, Loud, or Silly—you can find a better solution! 💡
Watch as the Thundersmashers learn that being Different doesn't make someone an Enemy. Instead of a war, they use their giant voices to ask for a "quiet song," proving that words are even stronger than rocks! 🎶✨

- The Goal: The Madremonte is the protector of the earth. She acts as a judge and can be very fierce if people are reckless, which means doing dangerous things without caring about what happens.
- A Lesson in Nature: In one story, a greedy farmer cut down trees near a river. The Madremonte sought retribution—which is a punishment for a bad deed—by sending a massive storm to wash away his crops. She reminds us to protect the "Lungs of the Earth!"
- Survival Tip: If you meet her, show her you are a friend of nature! Toss some rich soil or compost around her feet to help her grow. For extra points, find a few tasty insects and toss them onto her body. She has carnivorous plants (plants that eat meat!) growing on her that will gobble them right up!

The Mirror-Monster: A Lesson in Kindness! 🪞👹
The Terrible Trio—Grumblegut the Ogre, Trolla the Troll, and Snotbeard the Giant—are in a very foul mood! 😠 They are stomping through the woods, looking for something to smash or chase. But instead of a fight, they find a small, grey, wobbly Blob sitting on a stone.
When Grumblegut roars at the Blob, the Blob roars back! 🗣️ When Trolla pokes it with a stick, it grows a spike and pokes her back! The more the Trio attacks, the bigger and meaner the Blob gets, until it turns into a colossal, rampaging Mirror-Monster made of their own bad behavior! 😱
The Trio flees to Snaggleton, where Granny Gigglesnort reveals the secret: it's a Karmic Slime! It has no personality of its own—it only reflects exactly what is done to it. Fighting it only makes it stronger. Granny gives them a difficult challenge: they have to treat the monster the way they want to be treated.
Can the grumpiest monsters in Magimajura learn to be nice? Watch as Grumblegut, Trolla, and Snotbeard try to stop the Mirror-Monster with a "hello," a pat, and a handkerchief! This story teaches the golden rule: Don’t do to others what you would not want them to do to you. ✨

- The Goal: The Caipora is usually benevolent—which means he is kind and friendly to people who respect the forest. He is a protector who makes sure hunters aren't greedy.
- A Tasty Lesson: In one story, a greedy hunter got lost because the Caipora made the paths disappear! The hunter had to leave a piece of Cupuaçu (Coo-poo-ah-soo)—a fruit that tastes like chocolate and pineapple—as an offering to find his way home.
- Survival Tip: If you meet the Caipora, offer him a chocolate bar! Since cacao comes from Brazil, he loves chocolatey treats. If you also give his pig some fruit and snort three times, he might let you ride on the pig’s back all the way to safety!

Once upon a time, there was an old farmer who had several sons. The sons were strong and hard-working, but they had one big problem: they were always fighting with each other. They argued about everything, from who should do the chores to who was the smartest.
The father was worried. He knew that if his sons didn't learn to get along, they would have a very hard time in life. One day, he called them all together and showed them a bundle of sticks tied tightly with a rope.
- The Challenge: He handed the bundle to his oldest son and said, "Break this in half." The son tried with all his might, but the bundle wouldn't even bend.
- The Others Try: One by one, the other sons tried to break the bundle. Even the strongest son couldn't snap the sticks while they were tied together.
- The Lesson: The father untied the rope and gave each son just one single stick. "Now try," he said. With a quick snap, every son broke his stick easily.
The Moral of the Story
The father told his sons:"If you stay together and help each other, you will be like the bundle—strong and hard to break. But if you keep fighting and stay divided, you will be like the single sticks—easy for anyone to snap."

- A Bit of History: The Ekeko story is a legend—a traditional story passed down for a long time. During a hard time called a siege (when an enemy army surrounds a city), one man stayed full of optimism, which is a feeling of hope that things will turn out well. His belief in the Ekeko helped keep his family fed!
- Survival Tip: If you meet the Ekeko, offer him a tiny gift with a smile. For bonus points, give him some dental floss! With all the tiny plastic and metal things he eats, he’ll be so happy to clean his teeth that he might grant you a wish!

For three weeks, Fergus was a member of the "League of the Glimmering Beards," a club for people with magnificent facial hair. His job? Sitting in a room for four hours a day polishing a single brass button for five gold coins a week! 🪙 But suddenly, the office is closed, the league has vanished, and Fergus is out of work!
Wizzlethorp (our Sherlock!) and the patchwork creature Stanky (our Watson!) realize this "job" was a ridiculous trick. Why would someone pay a leprechaun to polish a button? 🤔
The game is afoot! The team discovers a secret tunnel being dug from Fergus's basement straight into Sparky Flarkbottom's workshop! Two jealous rival inventors, Fizzlewhip and Cogsworth, have been tunneling in secret to steal Sparky's greatest invention: the Autonomaton 9000! 🤖

The quest continues! Lexi, Scary, and Jinx bravely jump off the cliff and plunge into the raging river to save Grumblegut! But the water is a furious monster, tossing them around like toys! 😱
Things get worse when the Water Elemental—a massive wave with a roaring, foamy face—rises from the depths and sends a liquid mountain to crush them! 🌊 Scary Fairy has a brilliant idea: they grab pieces of wood and surf the angry current downstream! 🏄♀️
Lexi spots the dark crystal shard in the Elemental's head and knows they need to fly! They launch themselves off the crest of the biggest wave, but Lexi struggles and plummets back into the water! 😭
Scary Fairy, in a tiny, determined flight, rips the shard free, calming the river! But Grumblegut pulls Lexi's limp, lifeless body from the water. 💔 The ogre, heartbroken, gives his friend a desperate, giant hug... and FWWWOOOOSH! A huge spout of water shoots out of Lexi's mouth! He's alive! 🎉
They defeated the Water Elemental, but their victory is short-lived: a distant, booming sound makes them look towards the mountains. The volcano has erupted! 🌋

They find the source of the chaos: a raging Air Elemental, a creature made of storm clouds and crackling lightning, is spinning uncontrollably! Trapped inside its stormy head is another dark purple crystal shard! 🤯
But how can they reach it without being blown away? Grumblegut the Ogre comes up with a wild, amazing plan: a Goblin Lasso! He ties a rope around Lexi the Pixie and spins him faster and faster, launching him straight at the Elemental's raging face! 🚀
Lexi grabs the shard, but the enraged Elemental unleashes a final, massive blast of wind—aimed directly at Grumblegut! 💥 The ogre is blown right off the cliff and falls down, down, down into the misty canyon!

The Scary Fairyand Lexi Lightdancer are talking about the most evil wizard in Magimajura: Morgaff Doomweaver! 😱 Lexi tells Scary all the creepy details: Morgaff wears long black robes, has a high-pitched giggling laugh, and only eats crunchy beetle toast! 🦗
Scary becomes convinced: if Morgaff is completely evil, then everything he likes must also be evil! She runs around the Glugging Gargoyle Tavern trying to stop her friends from doing "evil" things! 🚨
- She tells Wizzlethorp his dark robes are bad!
- She tells Fergus his giggling laugh is villainous!
- She steals crunchy beetle toast right out of Snickerfang's hand! 🥪
The whole tavern is in chaos! Can Lexi convince Scary that just because a bad person likes something (like air, or the color black, or beetle toast), that doesn't make the thing itself evil? 💖

The One-Orc Conclusion: Judging a Village by One Bad Apple! 🍎🧌
Late one night, Fergus O'Gold, the leprechaun, is woken up by a scary sound! 😱 His gold is being stolen! He and Snotbeard the Giant manage to capture the burglar: a tough, snarling orc named Urzog Night-Stalker. 🧌
Urzog is carrying a collection of nasty weapons—a serrated dagger, a Snaggle-Net, and even Stink-Bombs! 🤢 When Urzog reveals she's from the mountain village of Zul'Gath, Fergus jumps to a big, wrong conclusion:
"This one orc is a dangerous thief, so the entire village of Zul'Gath must be a nest of thieves! Every orc must be just as bad as she is!" 🤔
The frightened Snaggletonians gather their army and march to Zul'Gath, ready for a huge battle! But when they arrive, they meet the wise and kind village chief, Ghorza Stone-Hand. She's not a thief at all! She explains that every village has its troublemakers, and it's not fair to judge everyone based on just one bad person. 💖

The Tunnel of Pointing Fingers: Good Advice from Bad Examples! 🕳️💡
Snickerfang and Jinx, the clever goblin siblings, are on a mission for Granny Gigglesnort! They must clear a dark, dangerous tunnel full of old traps, and their friend Scary Fairy comes along to help. 🧚♀️
But as soon as they step inside, they start making mistakes and falling into traps! 😩 Snickerfang gets pricked by a dart, and Jinx falls headfirst into a dark pit! Instead of working together, they start arguing, pointing fingers, and yelling:
- Snickerfang: "You're not using the tapping pole!"
- Jinx: "You never wear the safety gloves!"
They are so busy pointing out that the other person doesn't follow their own good advice that they forget to use the advice themselves! Scary Fairy steps in to ask a very important question: Just because someone gives good advice but doesn't follow it, does that make the advice bad? 🤔
Join the goblins on a tricky adventure where they learn to stop pointing fingers and use their best tools to defeat a giant Bone Spider! 🕷️ This story teaches a great lesson about judging the advice, not the person who gives it!

The Tangle-Tamer: When to Stop Inventing! 🤯
Trolla the Troll (played by Ellie!) has a big problem: her wild, mossy hair is a tangled, matted mess! 🌿 Her old bone comb is broken, and a family of beetles has moved in! Sparky Flarkbottom (played by Miala!) the brilliant gnome inventor, has the perfect solution: a complicated machine she calls the Tangle-Tamer! ⚙️
But Sparky's invention doesn't go quite as planned! The Tangle-Tamer 1.0 makes Trolla's hair stiff and spiky. The Tangle-Tamer 2.0, with its "slimy moisturizer," covers Trolla's hair in snails! 🐌 And the bumpy Tangle-Tamer 3.0 gives Trolla magnetic hair that attracts forks and wrenches! 🔧
Sparky keeps trying, thinking that because she's spent so much time and effort, she has to keep going! But Trolla is tired, covered in slugs, and has had enough. Will Trolla be able to convince her inventor friend that sometimes, the best choice is knowing when to stop?

The False Dilemma: Sparkle or Swamp? 🧹🤔
Something is very wrong in the cave of the Terrible Trio! Grumblegut the Ogre, Trolla the Troll, and Snotbeard the Giant are not happy—their cave is a total disaster! 🤯
Grumblegut declares they only have two choices: either scrub the cave until it sparkles like a fairy's teapot, or move forever to the gross Sludgebrook Swamps! 🧚♀️🤢 The Trio spends the whole day arguing about why both choices are so terrible! They can't imagine a clean cave and they definitely don't want to live in a swamp.
But when Wizzlethorp the Wizard stops by, he tells them they've fallen into a "False Dilemma"! What does that mean? And can he help the Terrible Trio realize they have more than just two awful choices? 🤔

Sir Rex has very interesting advice: troll slime for drawbridges, singing to rocks, and even ogre's dandruff for flying potions! 🤣 Everyone believes him because he's so famous... well, almost everyone! Stanky, Granny's patchwork assistant, has a funny feeling about it. 🤔
When Granny brews a new flying potion with Sir Rex's "secret" ingredient, something totally unexpected happens! 🐸 Everyone who drinks it turns into... FROGS! 😱 Croak! Croak!
Can Stanky, with Granny's help (and some gross ingredients!), brew an antidote to turn everyone back? And what important lesson will the Snaggletonians learn about believing advice just because someone is famous?

It's almost Great Gobblefunk Day in Snaggleton, and Sylvaris the Elf (played by Eda!) is making yummy Bubble Burpers – cupcakes that make rainbow bubbles! 🌈 She makes so many, she decides to send a basket to the giant Thundersmashers as a friendly gift! 🎁
But Wizzlethorp the Wizard (played by Elise!) 🧙♂️ and Fergus O'Gold the Leprechaun (played by Nicholas!) 🍀 are worried! They think giving treats to the Thundersmashers is a "slippery slope"! They imagine a whole chain of terrible things happening: running out of ingredients, everyone getting skinny and their pants falling down, and even Magimajura falling apart! 👖💥
Just as they're yelling their warnings, Sylvaris's hippogriff, Thunderclaw, takes off with the basket! 🦅 Oh no! The Snaggletonians panic, preparing for a giant attack from hungry Thundersmashers! 😅

Dragons are legendary creatures found in myths and folklore all over the world. They are often shown as giant, snake-like or lizard-like beasts with wings, sharp claws, and sometimes the ability to breathe fire! 🔥 They are known for their immense power and intelligence, making them truly formidable foes. (If something is formidable, it is very strong and impressive.)

The Candy Tree
Once upon a time, in a cozy village, lived four curious siblings: Mopsy, Duffy, Tibbin, and Drooble – the Mojily Family! 👨👩👧👦 Their parents warned them to never go near the crooked cabin in the woods, where Twitch the Witch lived. 🧙♀️ But, of course, their curiosity got the best of them! 👀
They found the cabin, and right next to it, a magical Candy Tree! 🍬 It was covered in all sorts of yummy, colorful sweets! 🍭 Even though they were warned, their tummies rumbled, and the candy looked too good to resist! Twitch the Witch appeared and made a deal: if they didn't eat the candy, she'd double it! 🤝
But waiting is hard, especially when candy smells so sweet! Drooble just couldn't wait, and with one bite, something strange happened... he started blowing up like a balloon! 🎈 Duffy lost her voice, 🤫 Tibbin turned into a ferret with a violin stuck to his back, 🎻 and Mopsy's hair grew super long! 💇♀️ Oh no!
To fix these crazy curses, Twitch tells them they need to find some impossible ingredients for a "changeywangeypangey potion": frog's pajamas, a bear's swim cap, snake's crutches, and cat's tears! 🐸🐻🐍😿 Can these transformed kids work together, face their fears, and find these silly items before sunrise, or will they be stuck like this forever? ⏰

Once upon a time in Ancient Greece 🏛️, there was a hot spot called Thermopylae, nicknamed 'hell gate' 🔥. King Leonides and his 300 Spartans 🛡️ stood brave against a massive army led by Xerxes, filled with elephants 🐘, armored rhinos 🦏, and lots of soldiers.
Xerxes' army was HUGE,! They wanted to conquer everything but hadn't faced the Spartans yet. Leonides, the cool king 🤴, chose warriors with kids to ensure their families would go on.
"Tomorrow, we fight to protect our home from Xerxes!" Leonides rallied his troops. They were fearless and even made jokes about fighting in the shade if too many arrows 🏹 came their way.
They reached Thermopylae, with a cliff on one side and a drop to the sea on the other, the perfect spot to stop a big army with a few brave hearts 💪. As Xerxes' noisy army approached, the Spartans got ready for the ultimate showdown.
As both sides prepared for another day of battle, a sneaky path was found 🐐👣. Would it change the fate of the brave 300? How do you think a small path could make a big difference in a battle? 🤔✨

Nian was a giant with a lion's head and super sharp teeth, as big as a bus! 😲 It used to sleep all year but woke up hungry on New Year’s Eve to visit a village for a snack. 🍽️ The villagers were super scared and had to hide away.
Then, one New Year’s, an old man appeared. 🚶♂️ He asked for food and, when he learned about Nian, he said, "Let me stay for a night, and I'll make sure Nian never bothers us again."
The man prepared the house with red papers and lights, and bamboo. How would this frighten the fearsome monster?!!

It’s written by Helen Patuck, and developed by the Inter-Agency Standing Committee Reference Group on Mental Health and Psychosocial Support in Emergency Settings. They asked 5000 children, parents, caregivers and teachers from around the world to share with us how they were coping with the ongoing pandemic, and they used the information to develop this story. They advise kids to listen to this story alongside a parent, teacher or caregiver, so they can discuss and understand it. This is a very important story.
