Fafa Khan is a Montreal-based DJ who has a great sense of taste when it comes to mixes. We recently posted about her Osheaga Perrier Mix which instantly became a fan favourite. Fafa Khan has quickly established herself as one of the most sought after international female DJs. At just 18 years old, she began performing and holding residencies in her hometown of Montreal.
Riggadale is a Toronto-based producer and artist who makes great music with an emotional twist. He dubs himself as "your favourite sad elephant tamer's favourite sad elephant tamer", and we couldn't agree more? We asked him to put together a mix for our Podcast series featuring some of his favourite remixes and some unreleased tracks, and he delivered.
We've covered this emerging Grime and Dubstep artist from Montreal, Fill Spectre before. He sent us his first official EP full of bass driven bangers featuring Mortal Kombat slaps, woosh and punches to your face with two tracks "Gotcha" and "Murda". Since last time Fill Spectre's been hard at work getting airplay on Radio Radar as well as Clouwd-Nine. We asked Fill Spectre to put together a mix for our Podcast series featuring some of his favourite dub-plates and unreleased tracks, and he delivered.
If you aren't already, you should start getting familiar with Toronto Music Producer, DJ, & Remixer Nightizm. Remember when we covered Kaytranada's Toronto show a few months back? If you caught the opening act, you should be familiar with hrmnxy. When we asked him to take us through his process of making this Podcast for IX Daily, here's what he had to say:
I tried to fill the spectrum with the music I like. Starting off with a hip hop drum break followed by a remix of a G-Unit track by Cooking Soul. Gradually it begins to move towards of a electronic selection with tracks from Subsurge and Silkersoft. You'll catch an unreleased UV demo track in the mix too. The mix then drips into the Swedish music scene with music from the Sadboys, the Gravity Boys and collaborative track with me and Swedish producer GRXGVR. Finally concluding with collaborative tracks with my good pal DEER from Melbourne, Australia and my vocalist friend Fionn Richards.

We asked Kno-wah to put together a special edition mix of his original tracks exclusively for the IX Podcasts. The 8th edition features the best chill-wave music from local up and coming producer. Enjoy.
We asked all three DJs from fresh new Montreal collective / monthly event Pouchons to provide us with a mix. What we've got is roughly 1 hour and 30 minutes of bass bliss (trap, club, etc, you know it) mixed by homies (in order of appearance) Wifey, Klyde Drexler and GrandBuda.
To launch 2014, we choose to repeat what we did for our last podcast and tweak it. We pair two creators; one producer, one visual artist and present both to you. Our sixth installment showcases the sounds of Belgian-born and Montreal-based producer Le Motel, with whom we sat down to chat about the podcast last week, and artwork by California artist Tyler Spangler.
In this podcast, the Booty Based Mob (Compton Chic & Phil Sparkz) continues to explore the many different facets of club music. From new and avant-garde material to more obvious dance numbers, the music is always carefully selected and seems to carry the same vibe. The changes in tempo are crafty and swiftly done.
This mix is guaranteed aural pleasure in or outside the club. KwikFiks puts together a selection of house tunes with enough depth to have you listen closely and luxuriate in.
IX Daily is pleased to present this special Halloween night mix by Knife & Fork member The Shah. Expect one hour of jazzy, at times ghetto sounds; a unique blend of house and UK funky roasted by The Shah. The mix also features brand new material by DÐD & MTSP aka Knife & Fork affiliate Bowly.
The very first IX Daily podcast. This new project should be proof enough that we mean business. For the first edition of our IX Daily podcast we present to you one full hour of Jay London & Myfrienderic.
