Hello there! My name is Kirsty and I'm a proud lesbian womxn on a mission to redefine sex through the voices of those usually excluded from these conversations. The current definition of sexual intercourse is extremely narrow minded as is the way we talk about sex in our society. So, I've lined up an incredible group of people with different sexual orientations, gender identities and cultural backgrounds and together we've altered, added to and completely rewritten the definition of sex, to make sure everyone is included.
This is episode 8 of an 8 part series that aims to redefining sex and the way society looks and talks about it. Episodes can be enjoyed as a series or as individual episodes - enjoy!
Don't be fooled by the ~scandelous~ opening grab, this is actually a really heartfelt conversation about the way sex is perceived in the gay male community. This group is arguably the most sexually liberated with apps such as Grindr having a huge influence on how sex is viewed. Karl opens up about how his perspective of sex has changed as he has gotten older, shares some great tips for newbies and debunks some incorrect stereotypes - enjoy!

This is episode 7 of an 8 part series that aims to redefining sex and the way society looks and talks about it. Episodes can be enjoyed as a series or as individual episodes - enjoy! We get candid, no stone is left unturned and we talk about everything you've wanted to know, but been afraid to ask. This series will help make you a better ally, or maybe it will help you navigate your own sexual orientation or maybe you'll just have a good old fashioned no strings attached podcast listen.
This weeks guest is Sangeeta Pillai from Soul Sultras and the Masala Podcast. Soul Sutras is all about tackling taboos in South Asian culture. And creating safe spaces where South Asian womxn can explore everything from sex, sexuality, periods, female pleasure, menopause, mental health, sexual harassment, shame, sexual harassment to…nipple hair! Sangeeta and I compare our experiences as womxn growing up in two different cultures and the influences of shame & stigma getting in the way of us embracing the incredible force within us to experience endless amounts of pleasure. Sangeeta is full of wisdom and incredible insights and a true inspiration to me! I know you'll love this one, enjoy xx

WHAT UP GUYS! Strap yourselves in (figuratively or literally) for this weeks episode which is all about kinks & fetishes. This weeks guest Carlos is a sexologist, therapist and Youtuber. Not only do I learn some (surprisingly) common kinks & fetishes, we chat about the good, the bad & the orgasm. Carlos knows their shit on this topic AND is also a licensed therapist & sexologist with a large client base in the LGBTQIA+ community so we kick off the convo, chatting all things non-binary, gender queer etc.
As always, hit me up for a chat or feedback:

As my favourite poet Denice Frohman says, "Sexuality and Gender... two different things combined in many different ways! If you mismatch your socks you'll understand".
This week I chat to a really good friend of mine, Dan Bacon who is transgender male. In this episode Dan generously opens up about his personal experience with being trans and shares an incredible insight of what we should and shouldn’t be saying to trans people, all the while cracking me up with his hilarious sense of humour. I encourage you to listen to the full episode as there is so much to get out this, enjoy!

If you're anything like me, you've heard of asexuality but you don't have the full grasp of what is exactly means to be Asexual. Luckily for me and you, Sandra Bellamy from Asexualise: My Asexual Life has jumped on the series to help open up our minds and deepen our understanding of this deeply misunderstood sexual orientation. I got so much out of this chat and I hope you do too. I'd love to hear your thoughts and questions for future eps, so please leave a comment or send me a message on instagram:

If you're anything like me, you might feel like the sex education you had didn't really help prepare you for entering the world of sex. It was a load of what not to do, not how to do it well, safe and teaching us how to communicate about sex. Luckily for me and you, there is a world of sex educators out there who have all the answers. In this video I chat to sexologist Joslyn Nerdahl and ask the questions I never had the chance to, prepping me to begin my journey of redefining sex with the knowledge necessary. In this episode Joslyn and I talk about why our society is so bad at talking about sex, the religious culture that is fading but how its language still dominates our discourse around sex and societies general narrow view of what it means to have sex. We finish off exploring why it is important to talk about sex more and the shifts we need to make to the way sex education is currently taught.
Joslyn was such a beautiful person to talk to. I felt incredible safe and judgement free. I would recommend chatting to Joslyn to ask any sex questions you have:

Hello!
Welcome to the redefining sex series. I am so happy to have you here. I am in no way an expert on sex but I am armed with some seriously good people to chat to and some seriously good questions so we can learn together.
I hope you enjoy.
