Zimbabwean blood, London born, Petite DJ is a Female DJ playing Amapiano, Afro, Soulful, Vocal, Deep and South African House.
DJ for brankds including SkateLoveBarcelona, Soul Sessions, South African Tourism UK, Mi Casa Su Casa, Rhythm n Funk and more, Petite Deejay has had several radio shows and her “Soul Seductive Sessions” mixes have been hosted on shows worldwide from New York to South Africa.
She runs DJ Classes in Peckham and Croydon(South London) teaching people how to DJ 1:1 on Vinyl, CDJs and Controllers (connecting to laptops), welcoming those on the spectrum including Autism, ADHD, Dsylexia + more running weekly classes for adults with learning difficulties.
Students that display the right level of enthusiasm and progress, are invited to DJ at networking events and covering DJ bookings and so far students have gone on to DJ at BPP Law School, Guerkin Towers and skate events. Her passion for Afro House and South African House was discovered by the BBC recently where she was interviewed and featured for a news piece regarding the rise in House music in London.

I interviewed Zano the magnificent South African artist way back in 2010 - a whole 10 years ago. He was working with Black Coffee way back in 2004 and not only does he sing, he produces, dances and performs. After a 2 year hiatus from doing mixes, Petite returns with the Soul Seductive Session series featuring exclusive drops from the Late Owen Money (Rest in Peace Sir). This mix was spun at 120bpm, Owen's favourite speed, and takes you on a journey of the various Soul Seductive genres of House from Afro to Soulful to Dirty House.
For the sake of putting up this mix once and for all BIG Thanks for your patience guys, the tracklist WILL follow shortly. For now, enjoy the sounds of UKs Sabrina Chyld, South Africa’s Lebo The Artist (UK Based) alongside a host of South African Producers including Black Coffee, Black Motion, Afro Warriors + more. Alicia Keys and Monique Bingham also represent for US, but as Monique Bingham says “It don’t get deeper…. Than the bottom…. Of Africa……..” This also features a personal favourite – Dirty Money “Money Talks”- who remembers that track?

Deep, Soulful, Afro, South African House Music for lovers of those Soul Seductive Sounds!
A selection of tracks which reminded me of Suncebeat 5 where the DJs inspired me on so many levels. They played a FANTASTIC selection of Neo Soul, Funk, Soul and all genres of House that have aroused my music senses again.
DJs played with passion, skill and precision with no 1 song repeated on any day and 24 hours of music daily. I hope these tracks will give you a fraction of the vibes we felt on 23-30 jULY 2014.
