Komal Kaur talks about “Shredding my ego (and growing intuition)” in this episode of Intuitive Leadership Mastery with host Michaela Light.
"to me, ego basically is that part of myself that, um, I identify with that I give a label to that is, um, but I formed the image of who I am. So you know, my name. For example, I have quite an attachment to my name cause I love my name. Um, you know how I look, the image, right? Um, right. That's thoughts. The emotions that come up in my mind, how I feel, my body, what comes up in my body. All of these, all these aspects of myself which are outside is what I consider my ego, what I identify with, what I'm attached to and what I feel separates me from someone else. You know, what makes me- me and what makes you you, you know? And that is my ego. That's what ego means to me."
Episode Highlights * Her FB post + I set an intention for 2020 last week, to remove my attachment to the 'I', my ego self that craves and identifies with labels. + I had to shed a lot of ego in 2019, and release so much attachment to who I thought I was. It's such a painful process... I was holding on so strongly to words and ideas that I used to define myself. Because I needed to find my place in the world. + But how can I possibly sum the vastness of this existence and experience into a mere few words, words that are limited by the confines of language. + And as we come to the close of the year, I find myself with even more being stripped away. Things I hold on to tightly, and which define my self worth by my ability to achieve them. + The more I learn, the less I know. Mentioned in this episode * Oura ring * Pavlock * Book Mind over medicine by Lisa Rankin * Book The Biology of Belief by Bruce Lipton * The Forge Book Club * Book Trust Me I am Lying by Ryan Holiday * Book Everything Is Figureoutable Hardcover by Marie Forleo * My fitness pal
Bio I originally trained as a doctor, graduating in 2011 but throughout my time in university, I also held an interest in fitness and nutrition.
This manifested as a number of gym qualifications, a sports science degree and a few years of experience working in a gym during my medical degree and I participated in a wide range of sport as well including rugby, strongman, MMA, and bodybuilding.
This all took a back seat when I started to work as a doctor but within a few years, I realized that we were working the wrong way round. I didn’t want to catch people after lifestyle diseases had developed. I wanted to prevent these horrific illnesses from developing in the first place, and this could be achieved through nutrition and exercise.
So I left full-time medicine in 2015 to pursue business ventures and to elicit a greater change than I could as a single doctor.
This journey has taken me all over the world and through multiple learning experiences including a gym concept in central London that didn’t take off and a fitness apparel brand that failed after a few years.
It’s certainly not all been negative however and I’ve authored a book, appeared in multiple publications including Men’s Health, the Guardian and Telegraph and Men’s Fitness, I’ve set up a coaching company, lived in South East Asia for 7 months and launched a supplement brand in the States.

Welcome back to our Case Study Series. In this episode, I am talking with Naomi. Her main concern is that she might be losing more than $300.000/year because of the Entrepreneurial Impostor Syndrome. This is something that so many people feel, and it is becoming more obvious every day. Let's solve the problems Naomi has, and I hope this will help some of you deal with yours.
Problems and challenges * When I need to pitch myself to new clients I get nervous - I am not as good as other entrepreneurs * If I have not done a task before and got perfect results I am scared I might not get the results they want, it will be my fault, they are angry with me, I have let them down, their are disappointed, I feel like a failure, ashamed, embarrassed * Belief that everyone is making stuff up all the time, don’t know all the answers, just trying their best * My work is so easily tracked so it is very obvious when my work is good or bad. Nervous that I will judged by my clients that I am not good enough * Not confident enough in what I have to offer * Constant Worry and anxiety that maybe I am doing something wrong or I am not doing the best that my client could have gotten from someone else * Always thinking to myself “Why would they trust me?” * Effects/Results + Holds me back from pitching and outreach. Jordan Greenhall talks about "Combining Intuition with Rational Mind - a more effective solution in Business" in this episode of the Intuitive Leadership Mastery Podcast with host Michael Light. Jordan is now in his seventeenth year of building disruptive technology companies. Classic “Ready Player One” style 80’s nerd. Comics, science fiction, computers, way too much TV and role-playing games. Oh, so many role playing games. Naturally, these interests led to a deep dive into contemporary philosophy (particularly the works of Gilles Deleuze and Manuel DeLanda), artificial intelligence and complex systems science in college in the early 90’s and then, as the Internet was exploding into the world, a few years at Harvard Law School of all places where he spent time with Larry Lessig, Jonathan Zittrain and Cornel West examining the coevolution of human civilization and technology.

Welcome back to our Case Study Series.
Sam is an amazing sales consultant and language learning entrepreneur She already was using amazing WWIT since our previous session,
How to apply the first tools from the book within 12 hours and achieve big shifts in her business within 24 hours Topics:
How you can deal with spiritual upgrades in the middle of the night? * The moment when you are so relaxed, but not asleep yet. You just want to fall asleep, but a thought comes up. * Thoughts and ideas rushing through my head * Writing only have a small note, I would remember the whole thing
Ideas: * I'm a sales person! * Why don't I just talk to them about their businesses? * After publishing a podcast, they will feel easier to talk with me about it
Problems and solutions: * Keeping a phone by your bed- try pen and paper, because of the distractions from your phone * Do guided meditation * Try to get your body to a state to being able to listen to your intuition * Confusing insomnia with this state of energetic upgrade * Used to stay up for hours, stressing
TWIRED
Hot shower with lights off, just seat in the steam, do some meditation, nothing vocal
How to impregnate a book or business product service with strong success energy? * Reiki- benefits and bad sides * Suggested options instead of Reiki * Using tools like WWIT and TLC * Intuition journal * AB testing of the things you are trying out
Why being your true self leads to more sales and more connections? * You may have to drop your fake masks * Problem: my own fear not allowing me to be myself, and pretend being somebody else * Being a sales person, doesn't mean you should pretend of being somebody else * Some ppl will like you, some won't- so what? * Whatever it takes is different than WWIT- just do what it takes to get what I want- that is very bad. * People will be able to feel you're fake * When you start to do what's best for the person, and for your company, that's the moment you will have benefit as well. * Let's figure out what's best for you! * No. 1 goal is to make their life better, to get them to take action. * IF their life is better, so is mine. * Being your true self works!
Why polarizing your audience is the key to sales success? * Polarizing= putting things into separate groups * Selling to everybody leads to no one buying * You're being uninteresting that way. No one will be hooked * Don't have to be radical about this. Polarize to at least some extent * Being OK with some people love you, and some people hate you * Why the haters are the best for improving your product? * The ones who like you are not going to tell you honestly what they feel * Aikido- use someone else's energy and use it against them * Emotionally do the same thing * Slipping- just slip out their way, and instead of holding a shield which is heavy, let it pass you

Anna Wickham talks about “Quitting Drinking to Hear Your Intuition (How Anna moved from burnout to abundance)” in this episode of the Intuitive Leadership Mastery Podcast. Three years ago when I first met Anna, she was NOT intuitive at all. She was all logic. I was in her first mastermind at DCBKK 2014 talking about mindfulness, consciousness, and intuition. She later shared that she had no clue what we were talking about.
Today, she is totally different and uses her intuition freely in her business. Which is by the way, far more successful and happier for her to run.
Here is how she made this big change.
In this episode, we discussed:
Before - How not using intuition - Like swimming upstream, working so hard, burnout After - ease, peace, accept oppotunites the universe brings. Living her purpose - bigger than just making money Making more money, working less, happier and healthier. How to create time for Self-care gym, yoga, healthy food - and why this matters to your business success How she stopped the work, party, sleep cycle.
Her Rock bottom moments -
"One of the things that changed for me during my "rock bottom" moment that I talked about in my blog post is that I found my spirituality for the first time. It has completely turned my life and business around. I am now living in my zone of genius and experiencing more abundance than I ever thought possible.
I believe that most problems in society – drugs, obesity, alcoholism, workaholism, and even consumer debt and materialism – are all a result of us looking for ways to fill a void we feel in our hearts." - Anna
"The drinking part, though, was so much fun. Drinking was like liquid relaxation. It was instant relief from the anxiety that I thought I otherwise couldn’t escape. But I wouldn’t have told you I was anxious or even unhappy.
I didn’t realize I was unhappy, or that I was using alcohol as a “force quit” button for my overactive mind rather than learning how to turn it off myself. I didn’t understand it until more than 6 months after I quit drinking." - Anna

Interview transcript:
Michael Light: Well how do you use intuition in your business?
Kundan Chhabra: There are two things I do. One is body awareness, where I think about a vision that I have, actually what I want do to and I connect to my body and see how my body feels about it. That's pretty much how I use my intuition for everything ... even what food I want to eat for example, if I am not sure, where I connect to my body and if there is no response that means I don't actually want it. Its like a loop of programming in my head that tells me I should want it and, if there is a response and I feel good and I feel specifically if I feel my core desire of feelings in my body than, I really do want it and its the right thing for me.
Now sometimes occasionally, I might even have a negative feeling, and that is an opportunity to explore further as to why I might be ... There might be a sub conscious limiting belief going or there might be an actual thing in reality, in physical reality that might be not good for me and I need to explore. Normally, its just either there is a good feeling or there is no feelings. So that's one way.
Another way is, I stated in one of my comments, a new way that I have been doing is to think about an action or a vision, and ask myself if this action would create beautiful dreams tonight. If it doesn't happen, it probably isn't the right action. Yeah, so that's pretty much it actually.
Michael Light: So tell me more about, you said that when you want to manifest something you ask or create beautiful dreams. Tell me more about that approach?
Kundan Chhabra: Yeah, I am still diving into that, because I know my dreams lead to beautiful thoughts, so I am trying to create a way to go in the other direction. There is a novel called 'The Kin of Ata are Waiting for You' by Dorothy Bryant. Have you read it?
Michael Light: I haven't, no.

Till: Any time I hear you posting something on a forum or just writing messages sometimes about difficult topics where something needs to be done, you write WWIT. Tell me what it is and educate me on the importance of this mantra or whatever it is.
Michael: First of all, what does it stand for? It’s What Would It Take.
Till: OK.
Michael: OK? You were saying that you were at another meeting and you were saying, “Hey, maybe we can’t get together for this interview today.” I asked you, “What would it take to get together today?” Would be the full version of what I asked you. Then you came up with a solution.
Till: Yeah, I cut the last minute in half and went here by taxi.
Michael: Yeah. It all worked out perfect. When we’re in business, we often have challenges and problems. It’s easy to focus on the problem, to worry about things.

Yamile: Sure. I got into working with spirit guides 16 years ago. It’s kind of a spooky story. I was at home. This was back in Germany. I was sleeping. It was night. I woke and I opened my eyes and I saw a guy standing in my bedroom, a guy that I didn’t know, a stranger. I was freaked out, but I couldn’t move, so I just stared at the guy, and he stared at me. Then from out of nowhere, he had this like red glowing ball in his hand, and he threw it towards me and it landed on my bed. I can still feel it.

Taylor Pearson: When I think about intuition in my business the first thing that comes to mind is this idea I started playing with maybe a year and a half to two years ago, I call Founder-Product-Market Fit. You get a lot of talk with startup world about Product-Market Fit. I have this product, how do I get to the point where it’s a good fit with the market? The question that very rarely gets asked is, am I the founder? Or, am I a good fit for this market and am I a good fit for this product? And those are very intuitive questions.
One of the questions I’ve asked myself when it comes to “Am I a good fit for this market” is, think about who your ideal customer avatar is.
