I started live streaming on Vimm.tv recently and I wanted to give back this lovely community something. My first stream was a concept drawings of a prehistoric game theme I am working on. The first stream went really well. This animation is done in Adobe Photohop CC and it took me about 1 hour 20 minutes to do. I did it on live stream. You can use the animation for your own streams for free ^^ a little mention is appreciated but not neccessary.

In this tutorial I am gonna paint an Armor piece. Chest armor spesificly. As always I didnt have any particular design in my mind when I start to draw. I design as I go in the spot. This allow me to sharpen my creativity and show you the exact process of how I paint. I use a reference body shape. Draw the general sketch of the armor on top of the body reference. That way I dont have to worry about anathomy and perspective etc. This took a little more time to finish compared to weapon painting. See you next time.

Welcome to the 3rd edition of the 2D Fantasy weapon painting series. In this edition I am gonna make a short sword. If you would like to see my other painting process, check out my previous post for "dagger" and "axe" paintings.

I also put my 3speak channel in my instagram page.

I am doing standart weapons for a classic RPG game. Swords, Axes, Daggers, Shield, Hammers etc. If you like what you see here, check my instagram page. I'll post the finished paintings there before I post the videos here.

To start you dont need fancy brushes, drop the opacity to %10 %20 while working with standart brush and build up the texture. But I highly recommend you to download a free custom concept art brush packs. There are hundreds of different types to chose from. I am using only one brush for the whole painting. The brush has pressure sensitivity , more you press the pen, the darker it gets. This allow me to control how much paint I put on the canvas.

You can watch the dagger's video in my previous post.

This is a new addition to the previous drawing of Iron Dagger. If you are new to digital painting, follow this Iron Axe tutorial. I always had trouble following painting tutorials on youtube because majority of them are speedup and you almost cant see what the artist is doing.

Enjoy the tutorial, uncut, unedited and in real time. No talking, No intro, No outro. Just pure art. I begin with simple sketch and slowly paint the axe in layers. I also recorded my pen movements to help you undertstand the process better.

Hello,

I always had trouble following live painting videos on youtube, because majority of them are speed up. Almost you cant see what the artist is doing. In this video I wanted to show you the entire process uncut, unedited and real-time. This gives the opportunity to see and understand the each step better.

This is a Iron Dagger painting from scratch. I didn't have a spesific shape for the dagger before I begin. I pick my colors before I start. I have collection of similar art pieces in my computer for creating collor pallets . I am color blind I cant pick colors by myself. This is the way I work. You might want to pick different colors for your paintings. Thats fine.

I begin with simple sketch and slowly paint the dagger in layers. I also recorded my pen movements to help you undertstand the process better.
