Less than 3 days left before this event on GENSHIN IMPACT ends so here's me trying to complete ALL the tasks on the Contending Tides Event.

Prior to this I have already completed most of the EASY trials so this is mostly my run on the HARD trial and some of the EXTREME trials.

It wasn't a perfect run though as I failed twice. Heh!

I think I may have found this morning the match that would bestly summarize the entirety of my ranked matches after reaching the Diamond leagues.

It's the following video above.

For most players, the video might actually look like a 'normal' ranked match. And yes that is indeed a normal ranked match but what I want to point on this video is 'HOW MY MONSTERS KEPT ON MISSING' when attacking.

This past 2 weeks alone, I might have already made 2 blog posts about how my monsters with magnificent speeds of 7 and 8 missed hitting the opponents monsters with speeds of only 2 and 3! Sure the enemy has a monster with 'BLIND' ability but really?! With that speed difference the RNG just can't let my monsters hit. T_T

Going back to the video, IF ONLY my Twisted Jester did not missed it's first attack (speed difference is only 1 and yet IT STILL MISSED; Oh my luck!) or if not only my HAUNTED SPIDER missed that CRUCIAL second attack of his then I think I could have easily won this battle.

I know speed plays a part in strategy but at this point really I'm starting to suspect my RNG is cursed. Lol

If only the opponent has 200-500 Battle Points rating higher than me on this video, then the title of this would have been the 'perfect' video that shows the entirety of my matches after reaching the Diamond leagues, since I usually get those kind of match-ups. XD

I did get a few wins on my afternoon round so I'm not anymore that pissed on my 15-20 loses during this morning's round. I am still currently back at GOLD III though with all the misses and opponents 100% poison trigger rate on my monsters.

Not gonna lie, this took me nearly 2 hours to 'flawlessly' complete the 'Shimmering Path' trial challenge. The reason why I highlighted the 'flawlessly' part is because one of the necessary requirements to complete the Peculiar Conqueror tasks is to finish that said trial in less than 30 seconds. That basically means finishing that trial challenge fast and without 'FALLING DOWN'.

And this is where my 2 hours went to today. Just doing all I can not to fall down. Lol

Anyways to be fair though, a large part of those 2 hours is me trying to get the 'Shimmering Path' trial itself as the trials one would get from the Peculiar Wonderland are 'random'.

There are 3 Peculiar Trials per run and once I finished the first two and didn't get the 'Shimmering Path' trial challenge on the third round, I have no choice but to restart the trial again. Hence, why it took me nearly 2 hours today just for this one T_T

Anyways, after nearing the 2hour mark I finally started to get impatient and finally decided to get some tips from people who also played GENSHIN IMPACT and apparently, MONA's sprint and GANYU's charge (the one I am using on the video) PREVENTS ONE FROM FALLING THE PLATFORM. How cool is that?!

Yep! I did choose Mona on my first run but the downside to her sprint is that it consumes stamina way too fast so I used GANYU's charged bow attack instead. Luckily for me the trick worked and is finally done with this challenge.

For tomorrow I am trying to 'flawlessly' complete another trial which is the 'Stepping Stone Antics'.

As one could see on my video, I have the MC (GEO) on my party in preparation for both trials. It seems his 1st skill (Geo MC) CAN BE USED OUTSIDE THE CHALLENGE AREA. So I'm looking forward to trying that out.

I still have ~2days before this event ends though so might try this one tomorrow as I am finally tired after doing the Shimmering Path trial challenge.
