Y así es, Luna tuvo su segundo torneo estatal de Karate Do, hola amigos en HIVE, como ya saben Luna práctica este deporte hace ya 8 meses y pasó a Cinturón raya amarilla.

Estos días debutó en su segundo torneo, ella llevaba semanas anteriores entrenando mucho para la competencia, le había explicado que pronto habría un torneo para aplicar todo lo aprendido contra niños de otros Dojos y que se podía ganar medallas y eso la emocionó muchísimo, así que se dedicó a practicar mucho.
These days she made her debut in her second tournament, she had been training hard for the competition for weeks, it had been explained to her that soon there would be a tournament to apply everything she had learned against children from other Dojos and that she could win medals and that made her very excited, so she dedicated herself to practice a lot.
Es una bonita experiencia entrar al gimnasio y ver a tantos niños dispuestos a competir y emocionados por ganar, conociendo a sus contrincantes, siendo amigables entre ellos. Y los padres sentados en las gradas con sus franelas del equipo apoyando a sus hijos, siendo animadores, pendientes de mantenerlos hidratados, haciendo porras a todo pulmón, capturando con sus teléfonos esos momentos inolvidables.
It's a nice experience to walk into the gym and see so many kids ready to compete and excited to win, getting to know their opponents, being friendly with each other. And the parents sitting in the stands with their team t-shirts on, supporting their kids, being cheerleaders, keeping them hydrated, cheering loudly, capturing those unforgettable moments with their phones.
Si debo admitir que es muy cansado pasar horas y horas allí sentadas jejeje, llegamos a las 9am y nos fuimos a las 3pm, pero a pesar de eso disfrutamos la competencia y ver a los deportistas esforzándose por ganar, obviamente como en todas las competencias hay ganadores y perdedores, hay quienes lo toman de manera positiva y otros no tanto. Pienso que lo importante de todo esto es aprender que se puede mejorar para la próxima oportunidad, cuando eres un niño o un adolescente aún están aprendiendo a comprender sus emociones y como sobrellevarlas.
Yes I must admit that it is very tiring to spend hours and hours sitting there hehehe, we arrived at 9am and left at 3pm, but despite that we enjoyed the competition and see the athletes striving to win, obviously as in all competitions there are winners and losers, there are those who take it positively and others not so much. Pero allí entramos los padres y sus Sensei para animarlos y recordarles lo importante de las competencias, comprender que a veces se gana y otras se pierde. Les había comentado, para los que no saben cómo son las competencias de Karate, primero debes hacer el Kata (combate imaginario individual o grupal) de acuerdo a tu nivel en cinturón y después debes hacer el KUMITE que es el combate aplicando las técnicas aprendidas contra otro karateca.
But that's where the parents and their Sensei came in to encourage them and remind them of the importance of the competitions, to understand that sometimes you win and sometimes you lose. I had told them, for those who do not know how Karate competitions are, first you must do the Kata (individual or group imaginary combat) according to your belt level and then you must do the KUMITE which is the combat applying the techniques learned against another karateka.
Empezaron los más pequeños, así que le tocó a Luna hacer su KATA, ella estaba totalmente tranquila, había mucha gente viéndola, estaban los jurados al frente y los árbitros en cada esquina del tatami observándola, pero Luna tiene la cualidad de no dejarse intimidar por eso, la verdad disfruta ser el centro de atención jejeje y comenzó su KATA, tuvo algunos errores pero no sé detuvo, continuó hasta terminarlo, luego su competencia hizo su KATA pero afortunadamente Luna lo había hecho mejor así que ganó primer lugar en KATA.
The smaller ones started, so it was Luna's turn to do her KATA, she was totally calm, there were many people watching her, there were the judges in front and the referees in every corner of the tatami watching her, but Luna has the quality of not being intimidated by that, she really enjoys being the center of attention hehehe and started her KATA, she had some mistakes but she didn't stop, she continued until she finished it, then her competition did her KATA but fortunately Luna had done it better so she won first place in KATA.
Luego le tocó hacer el KUMITE, como de costumbre ella estaba emocionada, sin nervios, como verán en el vídeo la competencia estuvo reñida, ambas lo hicieron súper bien, incluso a los jueces les costó un poco decidir, pero en esta oportunidad Luna quedó segundo lugar en KUMITE, ella no lo tomo bien a la primera jaja, pero le expliqué que hizo todo muy bien y que segundo lugar también es ganar, así que se animó y estaba satisfecha por todo lo que había hecho.
Then it was her turn to do the KUMITE, as usual she was excited, without nerves, as you will see in the video the competition was close, both did super well, even the judges had a little trouble deciding, but this time Luna was second place in KUMITE, she did not take it well at first haha, but I explained to her that she did everything very well and that second place is also winning, so she was encouraged and was satisfied with everything she had done.
No les puedo explicar con palabras mi orgullo de mamá por mi pequeña valiente, admiro enormemente su capacidad para enfrentarse, exponer y presentarse así públicamente tan segura de sí misma, les confieso que yo no podría hacerlo, suelo ser muy penosa jeje, de hecho muchos karatecas ya adolescentes quedaban paralizados por los nervios, trato en lo posible de mantener esa cualidad viva en ella y nada me hace tan feliz que sepa en su interior lo valiosa que es y no tema en hacerlo saber con su forma de ser a quien sea.
I can not explain in words my pride as a mother for my little brave girl, I greatly admire her ability to face, expose and present herself publicly so sure of herself, I confess that I could not do it, I tend to be very embarrassing hehe, in fact many karateka and teenagers were paralyzed by nerves, I try as much as possible to keep that quality alive in her and nothing makes me so happy that she knows inside herself how valuable she is and is not afraid to let anyone know with her way of being.

Está historia nos muestra tres hermanos cerditos con personalidades y gustos diferentes, cerdito pequeño es un cerdito que le gusta pasar el día jugando, es muy holgazán, cerdita mediana le encanta bailar y pasar el día perfeccionando sus pasos, por último, está cerdito mayor que es muy responsable y trabajador. Los tres decidieron fabricar sus casas en el bosque, una al lado de la otra para poder estar juntos y cuidarse entre ellos.

Al medio día los cerditos pequeños y mediana ya han terminado y se burlan de su hermano mayor por tardar tanto, ellos ya se están divirtiendo y no entienden porque cerdito mayor eligió tan pesado trabajo.

Luna no se queda atrás a ella le encanta ser todo lo que pueda ser que le brinde emoción y aventuras nuevas, en esta ocasión quiero presentarles a la pirata Luna Roja, una traviesa y tramposa pirata que le gusta buscar tesoros, navegar los 7 mares y cantar: "yo ho!! yo ho!!" Jejeje. Luna roja ama el mar y además de buscar tesoros le gusta protegerlo de aquellos que quieran contaminarlo o hacerle daño a las diferentes especies que habitan en él.

Saludos amigos de HIVE, hoy quiero compartir con ustedes un día que fue muy importante para Luna, su cambio de cinta o examen de grado en su curso de Karate, ya habían pasado sus 3 meses reglamentarios para poder aplicar a cambio de grado. Habíamos estudiado mucho, ella comprendía que, si respondía las preguntas correctamente, hacia su KATA y aplicaba las técnicas básicas se ganaría un cinturón raya amarilla y eso la emocionaba demasiado.

Ver a sus otros compañeros con cinturones de otros colores la hacían cuestionarse porque ella no tenía uno (ella quería un cinturón rosa porque es su color favorito) le expliqué que cada color significaba un nivel diferente, como está iniciando es cinturón blanco y luego le sigue el cinturón raya amarilla, pero para obtenerlo debía pasar un examen, aprenderse las técnicas que le enseñaba su sensei y algunas palabras japonesas básicas referentes al karate, tuve que darle la triste noticia de que el cinturón rosa no está incluido en los niveles del karate ( ) a pesar de eso le emocionaba la idea de obtener un cinturón del color de sus compañeros un poco más grandes y nos propusimos estudiar juntas para merecerlo.
Seeing her other classmates with belts of other colors made her question why she didn't have one (she wanted a pink belt because it is her favorite color) I explained to her that each color meant a different level, as she is starting she is a white belt and then follows the yellow stripe belt, but to get it she had to pass an exam, I had to give her the sad news that the pink belt is not included in the karate levels ( ) in spite of that she was excited about the idea of getting a belt of the color of her older classmates and we proposed to study together to deserve it.
Cómo ya le había comentado Luna tiende a distraerse mucho, mucho no, demasiado pero con dificultad logramos aprendernos el vocabulario reglamentario para su grado, en el KATA teníamos problemas. Lo curioso es que yo debía aprenderme todo como si estuviese inscrita igual que ella (nunca practiqué este deporte) para poder estudiar juntas y corregirla un poco. Llegó el día del examen ella estaba muy contenta, nada nerviosa, muy tranquila como una clase normal, el Dojo estaba hermoso decorado para el gran evento, asistieron dos Dojos para ser evaluados cada sensei evaluaría a los karatecas del Dojo contrario para que sea imparcial la calificación.

Luna hizo sus técnicas perfectamente y respondió sus preguntas, aún tenía dificultades en algunos pasos de su KATA, pero logró pasar su examen, ella estaba fascinada, puedo decir que aún no creía lo que estaba pasando hasta que la llamaron a colocarse su nuevo cinturón y su carita le cambió, estaba muy feliz y orgullosa de haberlo logrado, no dejaba de verse el cinturón jajajaja. Es hermoso como los pequeños se dan cuenta que cuando estudian mucho, su esfuerzo y dedicación será recompensado.

It is beautiful how the little ones realize that when they study hard, their effort and dedication will be rewarded.
En su primera clase con cinturón nuevo el Dojo Team Champions hace un ritual de bautizo muy divertido, todos los karatecas se forman en dos filas paralelas se quitan los Cinturones y debe pasar corriendo el bautizado entre las filas y todos le dan en la espalda con el cinturón 🤣 dependiendo de la edad aumenta la fuerza jejeje pero ellos lo disfrutan muchísimo y es una gran bienvenida al Dojo estrenando cinturón ☺️.

Amigos de HIVE, como ya les había comentado anteriormente, Luna desde los 3 años le gusta interpretar personajes, más que todo de Disney. Pero hace un año juntas creamos un personaje súper especial para ella, teníamos tiempo sin grabar debido a que estábamos organizando un poco algunos cambios que estaban ocurriendo hasta sentirnos cómodas y con rutinas establecidas. Cuando decidimos grabar un corto, es una preparación de un día entero jejeje. Diseñar vestuarios y escenarios, ella participa en todo, siempre quiere ayudar y luego le cuento cómo se desenvuelve la historia (mamá directora ) y vaya entendiendo como va cada escena, le doy líneas cortas que pueda memorizar, pero no siempre logra captarlas jajaja u otras veces me impresiona e improvisa y es mágico.
Friends of HIVE, as I had told you before, Luna since she was 3 years old likes to play characters, mostly Disney characters. But a year ago together we created a super special character for her, we had some time without recording because we were organizing some changes that were happening until we felt comfortable and established routines. When we decide to shoot a short film, it takes a whole day of preparation hehehe. Designing costumes and sets, she participates in everything, she always wants to help and then I tell her how the story unfolds (mom director) and she understands how each scene goes, I give her short lines that she can memorize, but she doesn't always get it hahaha or other times she impresses me and improvises and it's magical.

Grabar con niños no es nada sencillo, siempre pienso que esas películas o series que involucran escenas con niños pequeños es un trabajo gigantesco, mi preparación es la siguiente: el día anterior le voy diciendo a Luna que recuerde que haremos una película, no hago nada que ella no quiera hacer, porque ¿Qué sentido tendría? La idea es divertirnos juntas, no hacer algo obligadas y de mal humor, pero le recuerdo porque como lleva mucho tiempo entienda que solo haremos eso, igual ella encantada, de hecho, en la mañana de las grabaciones se despertó preguntando si ya haríamos la película.
Recording with children is not easy, I always think that those movies or series that involve scenes with small children is a gigantic job, my preparation is as follows: the day before I tell Luna to remember that we will make a movie, I do not do anything she does not want to do, because what sense would it make? The idea is to have fun together, not to do something forced and in a bad mood, but I remind her because it takes a long time to understand that we will only do that, even she is delighted, in fact, on the morning of the recordings she woke up asking if we would make the movie.
Ese día fue un poco estresante para mi jajaja primero porque tenía que hacer las labores de la casa, cubrir las demandas de Luna y preparar todo, mantener la armonía porque no quería que Luna estuviera de mal humor o desganada para grabar, así que es todo un desafío controlarlo todo y mantener los ánimos activos, comenzamos a pintar sus brazaletes de poder y su diadema con la gema de luna que es la fuente de toda su fuerza , una vez terminado empezamos a grabar escena por escena, tengo que grabar muchas jajaja a veces se queda callada, se le olvida la línea o no aguanta la risa, ni yo aguanto la risa, pero pienso, no debe quedar perfecto, solo debemos divertirnos, ser espontáneas, dejar la imaginación a rienda suelta y con seguridad quedará un obra maestra . Disfruto verla actuar, se ve feliz y eso me llena, quiero tratar en lo posible mantener viva esa esencia en ella y si decide ella solita más adelante entrar a la actuación la apoyaré, lo que decida hacer la apoyaré.
That day was a little stressful for me hahaha first because I had to do the housework, cover Luna's demands and prepare everything, keep the harmony because I didn't want Luna to be in a bad mood or listless to record, so it's a challenge to control everything and keep the spirits active, we started to paint her power bracelets and her tiara with Luna's gem that is the source of all her strength , Once finished we start recording scene by scene, I have to record a lot of scenes hahaha sometimes she is silent, she forgets the line or can't stand to laugh, even I can't stand to laugh, but I think, it shouldn't be perfect, we just have to have fun, be spontaneous, let our imagination run free and for sure it will be a masterpiece. I enjoy watching her act, she looks happy and that fills me, I want to try as much as possible to keep that essence alive in her and if she decides on her own later on to enter acting I will support her, whatever she decides to do I will support her.

Hola amigos de HIVE, a medida que avanzaba el curso de Luna en Karate el sensei(maestro) notó en Luna ese carisma que la caracteriza, esa fortaleza por mostrarse tal y como es sin sentirse apenada o avergonzada y cada vez que entraba un niño o niña nuevo al curso Luna trataba de incluirlos en las prácticas, les tomaba la manito y los invitaba a jugar. Sabemos cómo se sienten los niños cuando entran a un lugar nuevo, una escuela nueva, un curso nuevo, algunos son un poco tímidos y les cuesta un tiempo entrar en confianza para sentirse cómodos.

Durante su primer ciclo de curso que dura 3 meses, parte del entrenamiento incluye torneos con otros Dojos para que los niños vayan perdiendo el miedo escénico (si lo tenían) y se familiarizaran con estás competencias para futuras oportunidades. Luna con 4 añitos tuvo su primer torneo amigos, pregúntenme quien estaba más nerviosa por ese torneo jajaja. Fue una hermosa experiencia, nos dirigimos a un Gran gimnasio, con gradas, muy diferente al Dojo al que estaba acostumbrada Luna, pero ella estaba de lo más tranquila como si ya hubiese asistido a muchos torneos jajaja, para ella era como una clase más, mientras que para mí fue algo nuevo, los nervios, me preguntaba si lo haría bien o si la golpearían muy fuerte, tenía un sin fin de emociones, es irónico, pero ella la concursante, quien debía estar nerviosa con su actitud tan tranquila logró calmarme a mí y simplemente disfrutar de lo que estaba pasando.

Le tocó el turno a Luna de hacer primero su KATA (combate imaginario) consiste en una coreografía que hace sola en el tatami con una técnica inicial de acuerdo a su grado como cinturón blanco llamado TAIKYOKU SHODAN (ella lo dice perfecto ). En su grupo de edad Luna solo tenía una contrincante, así que eran solo ellas dos compitiendo por la medalla de primer lugar (que nervios jeje). Luna no hizo muy bien su KATA, pero afortunadamente lo hizo mejor que la otra compañerita así que esa primera parte la ganó jajaja.
It was Luna's turn to do first her KATA (imaginary combat) consisting of a choreography that she does alone on the tatami with an initial technique according to her grade as a white belt called TAIKYOKU SHODAN (she says it perfect☺️). In her age group Luna only had one opponent, so it was just the two of them competing for the first place medal (what nerves hehe). Luna didn't do her KATA very well but fortunately she did it better than the other teammate so she won that first part hahaha.
Luego tocó hacer el KUMITE (combate) Luna estaba muy tranquila, sin nervios, muy ansiosa por empezar su combate, estuvo perfecta, aplicó perfectamente todo lo que había aprendido y ganó su KUMITE, ella estaba orgullosa de sí misma, de lo que había logrado y obviamente mi orgullo no cabía en mi jajaja para ser nuestro primer torneo fue una experiencia maravillosa y no tanto por que ganó, sino porque deja en claro que la constancia, el trabajo y creer en nosotros mismo nos da los mejores resultados y me alegra inmensamente que Luna pueda aprender y vivir en carne propia está lección.
Then it was time to do the KUMITE (combat) Luna was very calm, without nerves, very anxious to start her combat, she was perfect, she applied perfectly everything she had learned and won her KUMITE, she was proud of herself, of what she had achieved and obviously my pride did not fit in me hahaha for being our first tournament was a wonderful experience and not so much because she won, but because it makes clear that perseverance, work and believe in ourselves gives us the best results and I am immensely glad that Luna can learn and live this lesson in the flesh.

Hola amigos de HIVE, desde que comenzó la pandemia en el 2020, con una hija de 3 años (en ese entonces) en confinamiento fue un gran desafío para ambas. Tuve que ingeniármelas para mantenernos entretenidas, hicimos muchas cosas juntas, desde cortos de películas, fotos creativas, disfraces, juegos, bromas, puedo decir que el 2020 para mí fue muy entretenido a pesar de las dificultades para tolerarnos y los problemas económicos, pero logramos salir victoriosas (no sé si tan cuerdas 🤣).

I had to manage to keep us entertained, we did many things together, from movie shorts, creative photos, costumes, games, jokes, I can say that 2020 for me was very entertaining despite the difficulties to tolerate each other and economic problems, but we managed to come out victorious (I don't know if so sane 🤣).

El año pasado que empezamos a volver un poco a la normalidad, retomar rutinas cotidianas, Luna sufrió un cambio: primero ya no pasábamos el tiempo juntas como venía acostumbrada, ya que tenía que ponerme a trabajar, segundo empezar las clases, por la pandemia ella no había tenido mucho contacto con otros niños pero logró adaptarse súper rápido ya que le encanta conocer personas nuevas (y hacer preguntas incómodas 😅🤦🏻♀️) amó la escuela, le encanta asistir pero eran solo dos días a la semana de clases como medidas de prevención dictaminadas por la zona educativa, por lo cual no era suficiente para calmar las ansias de Luna por aprender, jugar y simplemente ser ella en todo su esplendor; Se me ocurrió meterla en alguna clase extracurricular en las tardes, solo que no me decidía cuál podría funcionar de acuerdo a sus necesidades, me dirigí al centro deportivo de mi ciudad para investigar que actividades estaban en funcionamiento que a Luna le pudiera gustar y animarse a practicar, yo ya iba con la mentalidad tal vez de meterla en danza, podría funcionar para consumir tanta energía acumulada queriendo salir 😅, para mí sorpresa solo había clases de karate y lucha libre, danza estaba suspendida por falta de profesores.

Sus palabras me llegaron a la conciencia y tenía mucha razón, debemos ser constantes si hemos iniciado algo y trabajar mucho para lograr los resultados deseados, así que desde ese día, me propuse cada día llevarla a sus clases, pudiera o no, siempre lograba encontrar el tiempo, incluso el transporte para llevarla y no perdiera ni una sola clase y pude notar grandes avances en Luna y ver lo mucho que se divertía, hizo grandes amigos y se ganó el amor de todos en el Dojo, que aunque es un deporte de artes marciales, lo cual incluye combatir con sus compañeros usando las técnicas aprendidas, al finalizar cada KUMITE (combate) ella corría abrazar a su contrincante y podías oír el eco de los demás padres enternecidos por ese acto de cariño y compasión.
