Keeping Hope in Mind

Church culture often gets a bad reputation when it comes to the subject of mental wellness. Too many people have gotten churchy responses, like “just pray more, worship more, or read your Bible more,” when they express the ways they are struggling with their mental wellness. The belief that faith in Jesus removes all struggle and pain in this life directly contradicts scripture, so why should it be any different when those struggles are in our minds? In this episode of the Cedar Creek Church Podcast, Pastor Phillip shares what we can expect over the next four weeks. We are diving into this subject of mental wellness to accomplish two primary goals. First, we’ll explore how our faith can partner with other tools to help all of us have better mental health. Second, we will seek to equip ourselves to care for individuals and their families who are struggling with mental wellness challenges.Podcast episodes will air each Wednesday for the next four weeks.Message Series: Sundays, April 16th – May 7th
