Disclaimer:
If you're going through a hard time please know that you aren't alone. I made a choice to go through a lot of it on my own with consult of my therapist for my mental health and because of Childhood PTSD. I knew otherwise I wouldn't have chosen myself and I needed to be able to make decisions for myself without the biased opinions of friends and family and that's the only way I knew I would and my therapist encouraged it and setting those boundaries. I have an incredible husband who has supported me even when he hasn't understood completely 100% of the time and he has truly been my rock. I strongly encourage you to speak with your doctors and/or therapists for advice on these topics and how to handle your situation personally. If you need to speak with someone immediately please call 988.
In today's episode, Brittney talks a little about manifesting and what she's been up to this month. She talks about somethings she has going on in her life and how stepping out of her own way and betting on herself has opened so many doors for her already this year. We're talking about steps to help you reach for that goal you've been thinking about for a while. Start with writing it down and imaging what life will look like for you in a year, having met that goal. How do you find ways to get out of your own way when you're in a rut?
Welcome to the Iced Conversations podcast.
This week's episode is a short one just talking with you all a little about starting this and how being a perfectionist I've let it stop me from starting things that I really want to try. So like all things new, this episode isn't perfect, and neither am I . I'm choosing to stop getting in my own way and just show up. After all, we all have to start from somewhere.
Make sure you're following me on all socials @lifewithbrittney and @icedconversations to stay connected and up to date with me during the week. Also send me a message and let me know what you all want me to talk more about. Like I said, this is a space where I can be more raw with you all, so we will dive into hard topics.
I'm nervous, anxious, excited about all the things in store for this podcast and I REALLY hope you'll subscribe and come hang out with me weekly! Until next week, this week focus on trying something that you would normally easily talk yourself out of and see how you feel after!
