Dr. Z and Professor P, the podcast hosts, delve into Meosha's diverse background as an author, speaker, minister, and licensed social worker, while also exploring her recent embrace of entrepreneurship due to health reasons.
Meosha opens up about her challenging childhood, growing up in a home plagued by domestic violence and substance abuse. She shares how she navigated the crises and trauma as a child and later discovered her passion for advocating for the vulnerable and voiceless.
From her early experiences taking on the parental role at a young age to working as a caregiver for individuals with Alzheimer's, dementia, and mental health diagnoses, Meosha unknowingly operated as a social worker even before fully embracing the profession.
The hosts inquire about Meosha's pivotal moment when she realized social work was her true calling. She reveals the powerful conversation she had with her college advisor, who recognized her passion for helping others and directed her towards social work. This revelation marked the beginning of a journey that would lead Meosha to become an emergency response social worker for Los Angeles County, where she served over a thousand families, advocating for the safety and well-being of children and adults in crisis.
As the conversation progresses, Meosha shares her personal health struggles triggered by the intense stress of her work. She details the toll it took on her body, leading to a physical and psychological breakdown in 2019. Forced to confront the importance of self-care, she speaks candidly about her journey to prioritize her own well-being mentally, physically, spiritually, and emotionally. Meosha's experience serves as a wake-up call for listeners who may find themselves caught in a never-ending cycle of pouring into others without taking care of themselves.
The hosts also explore Meosha's involvement in ministry and how it intertwined with her self-care journey. Meosha reflects on her deep connection to dance, which became therapeutic and played a significant role in her healing process. She explains how she poured into others as a dance coordinator, not just teaching choreography but mentoring, speaking life into individuals, and building them up. Tip of the Day:
The single tip is to shift your mindset from seeing commitment as a burden to seeing it as an act of love.
Consider this quote from Anita Krizzan: “You don’t have to move mountains. Simply fall in love with life. Be a tornado of happiness, gratitude, and acceptance. You will change the world just by being a warm, kind-hearted human being.”
Let that shift in perspective make a difference in your ability to keep your commitments. It can motivate you to become more passionate and dedicated to fulfilling your promises.
By reflecting on the quote from Anita Krizzan, you can recognize the transformative power of love and how it can impact your own life and those around us.
Instead of feeling like you are struggling alone, focus on your love for the person, place, or thing you are committed to.
By being a warm, kind-hearted person who embraces life with happiness, gratitude, and acceptance, you can change the world in small but meaningful ways.
Therefore, commit to love, not just as a feeling but as a deliberate action, to strengthen your relationships, achieve your goals, and positively impact the world.

“Yes, You Can” is the Answer to the Question: “Can You Really Think and Grow Rich?”
Welcome to our third episode
Our guest for the Booking It Segment is Ramy El-Batrawi.
Ramy is the author of “Can You Really Think And Grow Rich?”
We are super excited to have him on our podcast, also inspired by the book "Think and Grown Rich." We encourage all of you to go and get copies of each of these fantastic books.
Ramy is an author, serial entrepreneur, businessman, philanthropist, deal-maker, and master negotiator. Ramy obtained a copy of the book "Think and Grow Rich" at a young age and read it over 20 times before leaving his home at age 12 to pursue success for himself. His journey led him to Tampa, Florida, where he lived homeless for five years. His burning desire carried him to become a millionaire by the age of 17, losing it all, then regaining his wealth by age 23 with a net worth of over $50 million.
Learn how Ramy mixed his belief, confidence, and skills with the knowledge gained from principles in "Think and Grow Rich" to turn them into bigger deals, more significant risks, and deeper pockets. Ramy took it to the extreme, which has paid off with extraordinary success.
What will you do?
Listen in this week to discover what is possible when you find the power to take what you know, add a burning desire to succeed, a willingness to think and grow and take decisive action.
Welcome to our second episode. Our first guest is a go-getter for our Rising Star Segment.
Keith Washington is a real estate broker, real estate investor, serial entrepreneur across many different sectors including franchise owner, Airbnb host, realtor, and the list goes on. Keith is from Milwaukee and has been a real estate investor full-time for around 15 years.
He is a husband, father, and God-fearing man who strives to leave the world a better place than he found it. Getting his start like many of us by reading the book Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki, Keith took his ambition and love of learning and used it to purchase his very first rental property while barely out of his teen years. He lived in one-half of a Milwaukee duplex and rented out the other half.
Learn how Keith has taken his real estate knowledge and skills and turned it into bigger deals, deeper pockets, and has since parlayed this knowledge into acquiring their first coffee shop franchise. He and his partner are well on their way to opening their second store.
Listen in this week to discover what is possible for you when you discover the power of taking what you know, adding a burning desire to succeed, and a willingness to grow.
It is easy to get caught up in our day-to-day routines, cultural and societal norms, and behaviors we learned as children.
We have to work hard at breaking out of the mold of our patterns and habits.
In this episode, Professor P encourages us to “Get out of There!”
What does that mean? Get out of your comfort zone.
We discussed how both of us stepped out of our comfort zone and what that simple act opened up for us.
Here’s the payoff: The sooner you get comfortable with being uncomfortable, the quicker you will gain success in whatever it is that you want in life.
