After completing an internship at a Life Sciences venture capital firm, Kat's adventurous spirit led her to join the Navy, where she piloted and commanded the MH-60R Seahawk multi-mission helicopter as a Naval Aviator with Helicopter Strike Maritime Squadron HSM-73 based out of Coronado, California.
Seeking diversity in her service, she embraced an opportunity to support combat operations for the SEAL Teams at Naval Special Warfare, serving at the Training Detachment for the East Coast SEAL Teams under Naval Special Warfare Group TWO as the Air Liaison Officer. She went on to serve in operations at Group TWO as the Air Exercise Planner, coordinating air support for the final pre-deployment certification exercise for all East Coast SEAL Teams.
In 2021, Kat was selected as a Troop Commander for the Navy Reserve Unmanned Aircraft Systems unit at the SEAL Team Eighteen, and she made the pivotal decision to leave Active Duty and assume this leadership role. Now serving in her 15th year of service, Kathleen was selected as the Officer in Charge of the Naval Special Warfare Assessment Command Detachment East where she leads outreach efforts for Special Operations across America and also acts as the lead for Women in Special Operations Forces (WiSOF).
Kat’s greatest source of impact and purpose is being a loving wife to her Navy SEAL husband, and as a nurturing mother to their four wonderful children. Beyond her professional and family responsibilities, she cherishes her treasured hobbies, which include playing the violin, indulging in landscape design and gardening, and experimenting with her culinary prowess.

Chris Curry is the Head Baseball Coach at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. He just completed his 11th season at the helm, leading the Trojans to their first every regular season conference championship, as well as, their first time posting back-to-back 30+ win seasons.
He was recently named the 2024 Ohio Valley Conference Coach of the Year – which marks the third time in his coaching career that he’s been named Coach of the Year. His teams have had 20 consecutive semesters of a team GPA greater than a 3.0.
Before becoming the Head Baseball Coach at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, Curry was a top assistant and pitching coach at Northwestern State for two years. He previously worked on the baseball staffs at the University of Arkansas, Arkansas Tech University, Hendrix College and was the Head Coach at Meridian Community College. He coaching career began in 2007, after his 7-year professional baseball playing career ended where he played in both the Chicago Cubs and San Francisco Giants organizations.

Prior to his work with the Pittsburgh Pirates, Bernie worked as a Performance Enhancement Instructor for the Center for Enhanced Performance at The United States Military Academy at West Point for 4 years. There he taught sport psychology principles to NCAA Division 1 cadet-athletes to improve their athletic, academic, and military performance. As that role expanded to the larger US Army, he spent two additional years at West Point as the Master Trainer for the Army Center for Enhanced Performance, teaching peak performance principles to Army Soldiers and units while also training a staff of 50+ sport psychology professionals to provide sport psychology services in military settings nationwide.
In addition to his full-time work, Bernie has enjoyed supporting numerous part-time and short duration “passion projects.” He’s currently working closely with Pitt Volleyball, Pitt Men’s Soccer, and LMU Beach Volleyball as their mental performance coach and has accompanied the three teams to a collective five NCAA Final Four appearances and an additional four Elite Eight finishes across their past five seasons.

Cathal Sheridan is a father, a husband, a former professional rugby player, and is now the head of sport psychology with Munster Rugby.
Cathal signed his first contract as an Academy rugby player with Munster Rugby in 2009, and then moved on to the senior squad, he represented Munster - one of most prestigious clubs in World Rugby - on 35 occasions before being forced to retire through injury in 2016.
Throughout his professional playing career he continued his third level study in psychology, after completing his Masters degree in Sport & Performance Psychology from the University of Limerick, he began working in the mental performance field.
He first began working as a Mental Skills Coach with the Munster Rugby Academy system in 2017, utilising his education & his experiences as a former pro athlete.
Since then he has worked in a number of different arenas, from team sports, individual sports, business to the military. He worked as a performance psychology trainer in West Point military Academy.
He is accredited in Sport Psychology from the Sport Ireland Institute, and over the past two years has been working as the the lead Sport Psych for Rowing Ireland, and after two successful World Championships, will continue working with the team as they prepare for the Paris Olympic Games.
Most notable, since taking over the head sport psych position with Munster Rugby two years ago, Sheridan was part of the coaching group that helped Munster Rugby to win the United Rugby Championship trophy in May of 2023, ending an 12 year drought without silverware for the club.
Gaelic Games are very close to his heart, and he continues to work with some of the country’s top counties, clubs, and players. He lives in Limerick with his wife Sarah, and his daughter Olivia.

Joe Bohringer is an accomplished executive with over three decades of experience in Major League Baseball. Derrick Brooks was drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the first round of the 1995 NFL Draft, where he remained to play his entire 14-season professional career. He’s widely considered one of the best linebackers in NFL history. An 11-time Pro Bowl selection and nine-time All-Pro, Brooks was named AP NFL Defensive Player of the Year in 2002, and earned a Super Bowl ring with the Buccaneers in that same year.
Derrick is currently serving as an appeals officer for the National Football League, as well as, the Executive Vice President of Corporate and Community Development at the Amalie Arena. He also served on the Super Bowl Host Committee of Super Bowl 55.
Derrick has arguably had more impact away from the field. He has received numerous community awards in Tampa, Florida for his work and dedication to the community such as:

- 2014 Lee Roy Selmon Lifetime Achievement Award from the Tampa Sports Commission
- 2014 Community Hero Award from the Tampa Bay Lightning

Derrick was appointed by to the board of trustees of Florida State University by Governor Jeb Bush in 2003, where he occupied a seat until 2011. He has also served on the Florida Department of Education Foundation, St. Leo’s University and Brooks-DeBartolo Charities, Inc.
In 2007, he was appointed by Governor Charlie Crist as the Chairman for the Governor’s Council on Physical Fitness – helping to eliminate the problem of childhood obesity in the State of Florida. By partnering with the DeBartolo Family, he was able to realize a lifelong dream with the opening of the very first traditional charter high school in the Tampa Bay area – Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate High School.

Mia Manganello Kilburg is an Olympic bronze medalist in long-track speed skating for Team USA.
At 13, she moved Salt Lake City, UT to begin on-ice training for her dream of one-day becoming an Olympic medalist. While training there for 7 years, she earned a spot on several Junior and Senior World Cup and World Championship teams, as well as, competed in two Olympic trials.
After the 2010 Olympic trials, she decided to retire. She took one year completely off from any competitive activities before picking up road cycling. Over the next five years, she raced on the National circuit, finding herself the team sprinter and winning a few green (sprinter) jerseys at stage races.
In 2016, she stepped back on the ice and re-found her original love for the sport of speed skating. That's when she knew she "had more to give".
Mia then became the national record holder in the 3000m; subsequently making the 2018 Winter Olympic team and ultimately, winning a bronze medal in the team pursuit event. She also made the 2020 Olympic team, where she finished 4th in the Mass Start event. She is currently training for the 2026 Winter Olympics with the US National Teams in Kearns, UT.
