For this episode I was joined by my first ever guest on my old podcast, Amber Manning. Amber is a Personal Trainer and Crossfit Coach in Wales so we linked up via Zoom (apologies if it affected the audio slightly) and I decided to grill her about the good sides and the potential misinterpretations the general population can sometimes feel about the sport of Crossfit.

Amber is a very well skilled and knowledgeable 23 year old and I have actually received some coaching from her recently to help improve my endurance and Olympic Lifting.

If anyone wants to get in touch with Amber or contact her for some coaching her Instagram account is @manningcoaching

Today I was joined by one of my closest friends and newly qualified personal trainer Victoria Barkby. We sat back and discussed some of the most popular pet peeves and things that bug us in the gym as well as some tips on how to get started on your fitness journey. Adapting your mindset and understanding what its really like in relation to the perceptions that some newcomers may feel walking through the hallowed gym doors for the first time.

Nick joined me again this week, where we discussed our experiences with over-training and how your motivation or inspiration from other trainers/influencers can lead you down the wrong road. We also drop some wisdom and advice to avoid this happening and how you shouldn't always work your body to the brink of collapse.

Supplements were another topic of choice and how it is easy for some people to use them as a necessity or fall reliant to them. Sparking a return of a favourite game of ours....SHAG, MARRY, KILL IS BACK! This time with supplements!

We round off by talking about fat burning myths and quick fixes that people can fall subject to, as well as some simple tips on how to safely and properly work on burning fat.

For our pilot episode I was joined by Nick O'Hare from Three Peaks Fitness. We had a laugh talking about how PT's are all hooked on caffeine, the power of sleep, a lot on the game Articulate for some reason as well as our unpopular opinions in the gym (bound to ruffle a few feathers) and which exercises we would Shag, Marry and Kill. A great start to the show with a mix of educational content and humor alongside some of our own personal experiences from being in the fitness industry for over 10 years each.

I encourage any feedback, anything you would like more of and you can tell us your unpopular opinions and 3 exercise choices too

We hope you enjoy!
