Brown Reflections is about creativity and expressing all the variations of the human experience through written word and realistic fiction. It was founded to construct an open door for myself and other writers to bypass the traditional gatekeepers who determine whose voices will be heard. Our goal is to create a presence and momentum that will allow our show case of books to channel into greater opportunities. In the books, I want to convey layers of heart, soul, intellect, and humor that can be related to African Americans across the country.
