To recap, what the self-care wheel suggests eating healthy, exercise, sex, taking a walk as activities for physical self-care. I would like to add community and group work out activities to this list given the benefits it has in motivation and consistency if you are one who has an issue with this like I do.

We know research says that exercise can improve your brainhealth, help manage weight, reduce risk of disease, strengthen your muscles, and improve your ability to do everyday activities. this is motivation enough to those who need it but there are people like me who need a little bit more of a push.

The self-care wheel lists these activities as ways ofparticipating in self-care. Learning who you are, this could be through ancestry tests, and activities like self-reflections. In a previous pod episode, I mentioned doing a SWOT analysis on yourself, this is another way to learn who you are. Figuring out what you want in life is another activity on the self-care wheel. So is planning short and long term goals, making a visionboard, fostering friendships, going on dates, getting coffee with a friend. There are activities like getting out of debt, just relaxing, writing a poem or a book, spending time with your family, cooking out, and learning to play a guitar.

Aromatherapy, going to a play and enjoying the arts.Like Issa, I love a good positive affirmation. I actually use the reminders in my phone to send me nice messages throughout the day. One of them is “you are not a quitter, you are a finisher.” I see this message daily and it makes me smile.

Excerpt from this episode: " The more you answer calls and emails after hours and the more you compromise and stretch your boundaries, the greater the expectation it is for you to continue to do so. Reminds me of that saying that if you give an inch, they take a mile. I always like to say when it comes to work, you have to teach people how to treat you."

We are a Royal Priesthood and should start acting like it. What does that mean? Stop Accepting Less. We are royalty and should do as the royals do and what they don't do is tolerate disrespect and mistreatment. Let those who are intimidated by your value go!

Today's Podcast is on letting go and moving forward.

My problem is with disclosure and I'm telling certain people everything and editing what I tell God and it really should be the other way around. All of this advice and opinion from other people (who I might add) are not even believers has wavered my path But God!

He tells us in his word, specifically in Proverbs 3 verses 5-6 to trust in the lord with all of your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways submit to him and he will make your paths straight.

Mercy defined is the compassion or forgiveness shown toward someone whom it is with one's power to punish or harm.

Compassion defined is sympathetic pity and concern for the sufferings or misfortunes of others.

Life comes with its troubles. There's going to be some pain and suffering. There are going to be periods of isolation. I am currently going through a period of isolation myself and these things are not pleasant to deal with. But Great is God's faithfulness and we can be full of hope and optimism because of the promise of having new compassions with every morning.

In this week's journal prompt:

How have you seen God's mercy displayed in your life?

Today's Scripture: Philipians 4:6-7 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Journal Prompts: Are you anxious about anything? Write down the things that are making you anxious right now and give them to God.

Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus.

No condemnation! You are forgiven

This weeks journal prompt:

Is there something that you are ashamed of that is keeping you from reaching out to God?

In todays podcast I want to speak to those who feel alone. Those who don't have consistency In their lives. Those who dread the holiday season because it highlights the obvious loneliness they are facing. Whatever the reason, rely on the fact that we are never alone. Whenever we walk into a meeting, or is faced in a situation where it seems nobody has your back, just know that you are never alone and God is always with you.

We see this specifically in Deuteronomy 31:6 where god tells us "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”

Isaiah 43:18 says "Forget the former things; Do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?

It wasn’t until I started moving forward that I began to receive the things God had in store for me. Since then he has given me new opportunities, expanded my experience and has prepared me for this next level in entrepreneurship. What was, and still is ahead of me is better than what was behind me.

Be encouraged that God is doing A NEW THING and there's no need to look back!

Who’s your confidence in? Jeremiah 17 verses seven through eight but blessed is the one who trust in the Lord who is confidence is in him they will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream it does not fear when heat comes its leaves are always green it has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.

How powerful is this scripture! There are many instances where I have placed confidence in everything but God and many of those instances I was failed. We all know that people fail us, we all have examples of people not coming through for us or falling short, even not doing what they said they were going to do, but that’s the point right? God won't do that! In fact. His word says if you trust in him, he will provide in a way that you will not even have to worry about trouble when it comes, as a matter of fact… you will bear fruit no matter the condition outside.

Todays Podcast is about all things working together. I chose the topic as my first episode because it’s the perfect way to introduce you all to me. I should literally be the poster board for all things working together. No matter what you are going through, good or bad, it will make you a better person. We can depend on that because the word says in Romans 8, And we Know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

Thank you all for listening!
