The Tao Te Ching might be known for its quiet wisdom, but in "The Activist's Tao Te Ching: Ancient Advice for a Modern Revolution" author William Martin asserts that Lao-Tzu's ancient text actually has a radical edge that, if lived out, would transform all aspects of society. The Tao condemns power seeking and greed, and inspires a vision of society that is counter to the conventional structure.
Today, many are feeling the Bern. 2600 years ago, they were feeling the Tao :-)
