BT26 Live Your Inner Art with Gillian Greig, Clinical Massage and Maso-Kinesitherapist.
Immerse yourself in the healing power Kinesense Queen, biologist shifted to manual massage therapist. A Queen that merges science and basic human senses, sounds inclusive to me. Kinesense is the name of her personal clinic in NDG, Montreal. Her talents are extensive from masso-kinesitherapy to thai massage. Gillian Greig can access your senses through her own energy and background education. I have had the pleasure of being healed by her and it's no joke that she is a must-have when redefining that unique healing experience you deserve.
Gillian Greig, BsC, CMT is a Masso-Kinesitherapist specializing in the causes of chronic pain. Postural analysis, palpation and manual therapy are used to understand and release tension and restrictions that are uncovered. Treatment plans are focused on relieving the pain permanently and on treating the whole person rather than just symptoms.
She provides every client with an individualized and effective clinical massage treatment plan by relieving the actual causes of the problem rather than just temporarily soothing the symptoms.
The foundation of her work is based on her many years of experience as a therapist, her close to 2000 hours of training as well as her understanding of the inter-connectivity and functionality of the human body. At Kinesense, Gillian relieves chronic pain conditions and release restrictions in movement with a holistic approach focusing on the source of the problem and not just on the symptoms that are a result.
Restrictions and adhesions in muscles, joints and in deep tissues are treated with therapeutic massage, passive and active stretching and movements as well as with other kinesthetic and neuro-muscular methods. Using this approach, not only are the immediate symptoms relieved but the stimulation and re-education of the nervous system lead to long-lasting relief.
Somatic awareness, good breathing techniques and postural analysis are other integral elements in the sessions. Simple exercises and other lifestyle modifications are suggested as ways to reinforce the progress made during the session.
Approaches and Certifications

BT25 Live Your Inner Art with a creative dose of positive energy from Keara McGirr, shadow student.
Keara is a creative and ambitious individual currently completing her Bachelor's of Interior Design at Algonquin College in Ottawa, Ontario. She has had the opportunity to work alongside Darleen Wong and learn her artistic approach to interior design and see firsthand how to startup a business. Keara loves learning from others and gaining new experiences for her professional and personal goals in life as well as sketching and sewing in her free time.
Keara rings the doorbell. It's 10am. I am still in bed. She's already at the dwStudio to help me start my branding and marketing. "I'm up now" I answer the door with my bed head and cracky voice. "But I am ready!". Keara McGirr was my first ever shadow student from Dawson College. The college I gradutaed Interior Design from back in 2004. For the last 3 years I have been called to the table of judges for the 3rd year graduating students final projects at Dawson. I have given my authetic feedback using my past experience in the industry and instilling motivation and inspiration to these young souls. Keara and I hit it off from the start. Strangely enough, we have the exact same nervous giggle and happy giggle. Yes, we giggle in good and bad times. Well, there are no bad times when you connect the two of us at the hip. This Positivity Queen is surely to put a smile and help you uncover any hidden treasure dying to escape the darkness. Between us two Queens there is a lack of negativity. Thank goodness I have found my mini-match. When she announced that she was to continue her studies in Ottawa I had to buy her a gift to thank her for her patience, love and care for my thoughts and rollercoaster of creativity. So I bought her a train ticket with Via Rail... So she could come back to me!!!!!! Well, she did return the day I launched my Brand of Boudoir Interior and Boudoir Therapy October 8, 2018. I love this the force within this Queen. Careful, too much positivity and giggles can harm the negative outta you!
Boudoir Therapy Podcast published Keara McGirr's interview, episode 25 on August 23, 2019. Please use this newly updated source to link this interview to your social media or website.
Since then Keara has bloomed into a full-time Interior Designer with a paid position by the Gouvernement. Boom shaka-laka! Congrats Queen! and thank you for being you!
I am forever grateful for the time you dedicated to my growth. You planted a magical seed. Merci!

BT24 Live Your Inner Universal Art with the Reina Arte De La Cruz.
Born July 7, 1996, I was lucky enough to see the birth of the Millennial World by surviving the "Y2K"
I am now a 22-year-old woman with a huge passion for art! It has been over a year now that I have been devoting myself more seriously to my artistic career. This wonderful passion that I discovered at a young age nourishes me daily. Since I was young, drawing and I have always been allies. On the other hand, it was when I entered at Marie-Victorin CEGEP in 2013 that I got illuminated! My initiation to painting was a real revelation. I finally got to know myself! My sweet dreams can now be visualized. My origins greatly inspire my artistic flow. My Dominican mother and my Haitian father. I do not hide from you that these two people do not always share a very friendly relationship for many known & unknown reasons. Yet, they live on the same island. I decided to take inspiration from this situation. Not wanting to use one of my two origins, I directed my art to my ancestors in a past where these two peoples and all other peoples were one! Looking forward to make the African continent come to you!
Meet one of my youngest apprentices in the Private Boudoir, Arte De La Cruz.
Her gift isn't in the brush strokes. It is in her intellectual connoisseur of art, society, and self-respect. Her name will spread goosebumps through your body and soul because it's exactly what she intends to do. Her inner art is a powerful space rocket ready to launch in whatever direction her mission takes her. I am proud of this young woman who has embraced her inner art and has learned to use it as a tool. I am looking forward to seeing Arte blossom into the badass tropical artist she deserves to be. You'll be hearing lots about this Queen I promise.
Thank you Shari for being you and uncovering your hidden treasures on the Boudoir Therapy Podcast.
Sending you love and art, because you deserve it girl!

BT23 What is Boudoir Therapy?
This is the episode that summarizes best what Boudoir Therapy has bloomed into in the last few months. I thought I knew what it meant when I first came up with the title of this Podcast. But I was wrong. The concept is much more profound and fulfilling than I ever envisioned. And I am an expert at seeing things before they go up. But this creation has taught me that I cannot always see what I am doing, smelling, seeing, feeling, hearing or even tasting until the last drop has been swallowed in. And even then.
The fascinating part is that Boudoir Therapy will always be evolving. Every Queen I've interviewed has taught me to live more in the present and to respect myself selfishly.
The most difficult part of the BT process was deflecting all the negative energy I'd receive from the closest people in my life. I am practicing 'no' and 'that's enough! It's me time 'because I deserve it!'. It is the most twisted and joyous moment every time I edit a new episode. There is constant positive energy transmitted into my veins, heart, soul and mind through the words of the Queens. These powerful enlightened real women live a life on purpose without any judgment because they have already been practicing BT without even knowing it. So sit back on your Queens chair and give yourself this "selfish" time you deserve to rise to your throne. But first, go to bed...
I am eager to get to know and encourage all the Queens around the world to lead and speak from the heart and from a safe space, embracing their purpose and intentions to serve the world.
Thank you for being you, Queens! your darling xo
Bt22 Live Your Inner Art by connecting with Nudes and Nature just like the Queen of Art Homeira Mortazavi.
Born in Iran, Homeira Mortazavi immigrated to Montreal, Canada in 1987. She received her BFA with distinction (1996) and Master of Art Education (2002) from Concordia University where she studied under Guido Molinari, Suzan Scott and Giuseppe Di Leo.Mortazavi's figurative art deals with issues of self-identity, women's experience and the relation between human and nature, focusing on women and flowers in particular. Her technical skills are repeatedly evident in the handling of both human and natural forms as she celebrates the beauty of both. She has enjoyed both solo and group exhibitions in Canada, in the United States and in France. She lives and works in Montreal.
Have you ever felt so disconnected from your own body, curves, skin tone, textures and feminity?
Meet this power woman. Her students praise her as their mentor. Why? Because her desire to help people connect to themselves before anything else exterior is a priority. Homeira believes in the power of art to communiacte a feeling you may not be able to necessarily voice. And it's perfectly alright to begin by sharing with her your fears and doubts. I'd highly siuggest art therapy in her adorable Atelier Homeira. A safe space to self-express and develop a passionate connection with the canvas, paint brush and paint. Her methods are unconventional and empathic. Because different Boudoir Therapy methods exist. All are acceptable if you find healing in them. Embrace your inner art literally with the Queen of Art Homeira Mortazavi. Because you deserve it!
Thank you Queen of Art for being a part of my BT journey. Love that you love art as much as I do.

BT08 Live your inner art with Lorraine, Montreal's Boxing Queen.
The girl that fights like a girl!
In her mid-forties, Lorraine left a career in academia as a literature professor for one in fitness. Her career in the health and fitness industry is fuelled by the belief that healthy people are happier and, ultimately, everyone's quality of life increases when they interact with happier people on a daily basis. Her training philosophy revolves around health and youthful energy, no aesthetics. Looking good is a side-effect of training hard and smart; it is not the goal.
Lorraine is also an avid boxing enthusiast -- the combination of courage, resilience, strategic acumen, physical conditioning, commitment, emotional control, and faith required to step in the ring is, in her eyes, a metaphor for life. She believes that much can be learned about life in books; however, she can also show you how much can be learned about life in the boxing ring.
Boxing Queen uses boxing as a form of stress release and anger management herself after her transition from academics (she's a genius!). I call it therapy. For those of you too afraid to admit that you cannot deal with your emotions, sign up. Just do it. I have no idea what you're waiting for. I have never met someone who gets so aroused about hearing the slaps of leather on leather. Woohoo! And she demands you punch hard. It's no wonder her classes book so effortlessly. I didn't realize how many other people like to punch as much as I do. This is the only place you can punch and it's completely legal. If you punch someone out, bruised or bloody, Lorraine will express ecstasy-like satisfaction and encouragement to continue. Believe me, it's a friendly and safe environment.
Hire Lorraine Ouimet as your personal boxing coach https://www.instagram.com/perfect_fit_training/
I met Lorraine back in October 2018. It had been so long since I worked out and took care of myself fitness-wise. 2018 was all about self-care for me in order to train myself to be strong for what was to come today. I was lifeless when I started and today I'm really enjoying my shift in life. I feel empowered after a motivational boxing session and I believe this can help you too. It's therapy and you deserve it!
Boudoir Therapy Podcast publishes Lorraine's interview, episode 08 on April 30, 2019, at 5 pm. The original link may no longer work, but this one does. Thank you for your understanding. It's been a heck of a crazy last few years.

BT07 Live your inner art with Brandee, the Sacred Queen from Montreal.
Goddess, Mama, yoga therapist, reiki healer, spiritual guide, and vulnerable soul. Embrace divinity through the works of yogini Brandee Safran. We follow her vulnerable voice as she teaches us the importance of our body. She will teach you how divine your vessel is and how important it is to care for it in a sacred manner. Returning to wholeness, celebrating limitations and releasing the surreal vision of perfection that we hold for ourselves.
At age 14, Brandee was diagnosed with Crohn's disease. She spent much of her teenage years suffering from painful attacks caused by the inflammation of the disease. Freedom arrived in her life when she was introduced to yoga and meditation at the age of 16. Embarking on the spiritual path, Brandee has been committed to investigating yoga's qualities of healing through life's challenges. Contractions are her expertise and learning to expand from their compression force are the very gifts of the practice of healing through yoga. Her students go on a journey into exploring their bodies through breath awareness and conscious movement, resulting in increased body alignment and discovering their innate freedom.
Through her years of study and practice, Brandee has expanded her practice and has pioneered programs, in yoga for digestive health, yoga for pelvic floor awakening, women's school of ecstatic awakening and leading workshops in recovery. Oh yes, and she's also curated comforting products you can take anywhere you go, anytime you need to heal. #SukhaSac
Listen as Brandee discusses the main issues women have towards themselves and how this is harmful to your mental health. With an embodied and dedicated yogini since 1988, Brandee will share her divine feminine connection that will take you on a path to discovering your full light.

BT05 Live your inner art with Dalia MarOm aka Sound Healing Queen.
It is not even slightly exaggerated the supernatural powers Dalia is blessed with. She is a woman of magic that can heal your mind and soul. Everything comes together with sound when she expresses her inner art with yoga, as a singer (Boudoir Therapy's theme song called 'Just Be' is by Dalia Marom), and sound healing.
Dalia has been practicing yoga for over 10 years and completed her yoga teacher training in therapeutic yoga with Dr. Madan Bali in 2014. She has since studied Yin, Yoga Nidra, shamanism and numerous forms of sound healing with a variety of experts in the field and is also a Unitary Reiki of Sound Practitioner and channels love, light and healing through vocal chants and harmonies. Dalia has lead hundreds of yoga and sound healing sessions, events and retreats in around her home town of Montreal as well as on the international level in the US (Omega Center) and Mexico (Omni Hotel), Costa Rica (Posada Natura, Spa Holis, Selina's). She has also worked extensively with her Guru Dr. Madan Bali co-leading various events and retreats. Her unique sessions incorporate a therapeutic blend of Yoga (Dr. Bali Method, Nidra, Yin, Hatha) pranayama, guided visualization, meditation as well as various sound healing instruments.
Sound healing is a composition of sounds and vibrations created by Tibetan bowls, crystal bowls, tingshas, rattles, frog drum, bird flute, gongs, shamanic drum, ocean drum, Crystal pyramid, Idiopan drum in 432Hz (healing frequency of the earth), spirit drum (432Hz) and vocal chants channeling light, love, and healing. Some may call her music transcendent, mesmerizing, hypnotic. Dalia will describe it as magical.
I went to see her during one of her salt cave special events which left me enchanted and with inner peace. The noises and busy voices that run around my mind all day is exhausting. Let me say, I hired her for the launch of my Boudoir and Private Spaces Interior Design experience and brand. Her whimsical, gypsy ways are natural and deeply rooted in who she is.
Attend her weekly meditation, yoga and sound healing sessions on the Montreal island. Follow her on social to see where she will be next. Her retreats stretch across the globe from Quebec to Costa Rica and are very intimate. Besides teaching Yoga, Dalia is also an actress who graduated from Concordia University's Professional Theatre program and a singer-songwriter who is currently working on her 2nd mini album. This album is a spirit pop sound inspired by yoga, sound healing and transformation entitled Light Years Away. Come join her for a detoxifying full body experience while revitalizing your entire system and awakening your inner bliss.
Listen to her recent album produced by Rad Crasto "Light Years Away", and Boudoir Therapy's song "Just Be" on my home page darleenwong.com.
In Dalia's world, the world is magic and she is excited about life! The life she's chosen.

"In 1996, I started as a business coach for top-level people around the world. During a session in Ljubljana Slovenia, I had my first request to address some ladies' appearances in the workplace.
I called an impromptu styling session and found myself in a room with 10 women. Five minutes into that session, I realized that these busy women needed simple tools to help them confidently dress and groom themselves every day. These days I am thrilled to share my gifts for coaching and styling as an image consultant and personal shopper. I know that I have an uncanny ability to take a quick look at someone and know how to bring out their best qualities."

BT01 Live your inner art with Hera Bell
Meet Queen Hera Bell - the first crowned Boudoir Photographer in Montreal. Since 1989 her inner art expression has created and remained the one-and-only for her exclusive talent to extract sensuality from every woman she has ever photographed.
Hera Bell first stepped foot into a darkroom back in 1997 during the film era and has never looked back. She left her highly successful 12-year career in the fashion industry to explore her passion for visual imagery. Inner art seems to revolve around visual imagery. She has won a number of awards both at home and abroad, and her work has been featured in published books, magazines, ad campaigns and international and local photography exhibitions. Not to mention that her photos also grace the walls of some very discerning collectors.
So why has the world embraced Hera's glamour portrait photography? Is it because she is a powerhouse – vivacious, charming, and passionate or because she has developed her own signature portrait style. Well, it is both. She wields her camera with such ease and freedom, opening the shutter at the exact moment when an emotion, secret or personality rushes to the surface. She pioneered in 1998 what she defined as “glamour make-over portraits”. Some of us may also refer to it as boudoir photography.
Her wise advice has made an impact on who she is and how she has developed a life well deserved. What's authentic about Hera is her ability to embrace the journey and portray that to us in this heart-crafted interview available for you if you desire to change your world and accept your inner gift. Your inner art.
This is your chance to gain a new perspective on your life and your relationships as Hera's guidance and empowering wise words help you rise, help you reflect and decide what is best for you and only you.
Join the journey, share the passionate connections, and develop a relationship between Hera and yourself and with those in need of clarity and wisdom as clear as a lens. Perhaps it is exactly what you need.
Thank you Hera Bell for being you and truly living your inner art. You are a heroine in my journey.
