"Hallelujah Even Here" - Lydia Laird

"Almost Human" - Lauren Daigle, the song we weren't talking about. Lauren is also a Christian artist with some fantastic songs.

Jeremiah shares his opinion about politics and faith. Elections can elicit a lot of strong emotions. We remember that God is in control and our identity is in Him and not a specific political party. It is possible to participate in politics as an act of service to God. It can be challenging sometimes to see through the ugliness of an election and remember that.

Intentional living and how that plays into your worship life. Jeremiah describes the difference between guilt and guilt feelings that arise when we fail at living our lives with intention. We all shoulda, coulda, or woulda, and those guilt feelings can bury us. Living an intentional worship life doesn't always mean completing that list of shoulda, coulda, or woulda.

Matthew 4:19“Come, follow me,” Jesus said

It can be tremendously challenging to serve God. The Bible gives us many examples of the challenges to serve and spread the gospel. Daniel was put in the lion’s den and God protected him, but Daniel didn’t poke the lions either.

God be with you as you navigate the challenges to serve.

Do you catch yourself justifying your wrongdoing by comparing your wrong to the sins of others? This is an earthly trap that we fall into when we try to justify what we have done. Our world places levels on wrongdoing and punishes accordingly. We know that God does not punish us this way. He is a just God and punishes all evil with the same punishment but sent us Jesus to take our place in punishment.

Have a blessed Holy Week.

Consider this your reminder to pray. We have busy lives, a lot going on, children to get from here to there and here to there. We need to spend time cultivating our relationship with God. He uses many different ways to remind us of our need to pray.

1 Thessalonians 5:17 is one of the shortest and most direct bible verses and it reminds us to “pray continually”

Jeremiah and Matt talk about their experiences speaking with unbelievers about Jesus. Not every opportunity you have will be obvious to you, and you may reach an unbeliever with a conversation you have with another believer. The ways you can impact someone's life may be simple, and you may have one conversation with the intention of another conversation. We are tasked with the mission to go and tell. That is our job. It is the Holy Spirit that will work in their hearts.
