Born on this day (June 8) as the daughter to my wonderful grandparents and sacrificial loving mother to me and my sister from my ass-pain dad for thirty years. Hear me shower her in affection with three awesome renditions of the loudest and sweetest. Hear my words, children: LOVE YOUR MOM. Also within this drop, I am officially starting a new podcast. But other than that, what other way to start off the sunshiny sixth month than for you to feast your ears to the sound of Mariano Oliver returning for a fourth time to chow down on a platter of mouth-watering beef stroganoff conjured up by my culinary sorceress mom, whom aside from my dad is present alongside us for this gourmet get which suddenly turned into an unexpected brainstorm for me to create a new film-based podcast in which I can use all my limitless knowledge of cinema to babble on about with other fellow film fanatics and probably make a profit off of it. This spew show features a double encore with a double dedication: Led Zeppelin masterpiece "Stairway to Heaven" for my brother-in-crime Rene Rivero's 45th birthday today (June 1) and the somber and sweet Springsteen piece "My Father's House" from his masterful melancholic album "Nebraska" to commemorate the 22nd anniversary of the passing of Mariano's father (June 2, 2001).

Fellow listeners, I'm in mourning. Reassure me as I gush out my pain and sorrow over a very great friend of mine who took his own life exactly two weeks ago today and I reminisce on all the the greatness of his nature and the good and wonderful times we had together. Honor his memory with me by tearing up to "It's So Hard to Say Goodbye to Yesterday" by Boys II Men (Note: If you hear sniffling and stifled crying in the background, please understand).

This convo is ear candy to all youse freakin’ Gen Z punk heads because me and my old fart co-host folks try to understand the millennial minds of guests forty-nine through fifty-one: Team Coneheads members Bryan Howard, Caroline Findeisen, and Casey Puett. Topics discussed in the chitchat besides bowling: the trio being completely unfamiliar with the classic SNL sketches which are the names of the teams in their league, living life on the lanes, attempting to befriend equals from my so-called “generation”, trying to understand the popular common trends of this new day and age, finding out whether we have certain common interests or not, and understanding more about Carol’s situation living with the effects of Crohn’s disease.
Guess what, fellow listeners? IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!!! I've been living and breathing on this planet for 23 years since May 2, 2000 and I still don't relate with the people of my generation and yet I can miraculously edit the audio of my podcast on the computer. Anyways, I had a marvelous shindig in my backyard with friends and family flooded with Mexican catering and made this episode that's made up of four separate conversations with special guests forty-one through forty-eight: Team More Cowbell, Tim, Austin and Joe, and Robert. Afterwards, I rendition "The Scientist" by Coldplay as my big encore.

We go on for whatever time we have dishing on his time served in the Army and transitioning to computer work after resigning, life on the lanes, living nerdy at thirty, recently getting hitched to his sweetheart and plotting out the rest of their lives together.
Greetings, fellow listeners. Feast your ears on what is now officially my all-time favorite jobber jabber of the podcast with somebody who outstandingly fascinates me. Not only is she the pod's thirty-sixth guest, but she's also a real great friend of mine. Jennifer Mendes and I first came together at Tea & Poets nearly two months ago and each of us saw something in the other that sparked a sturdy-going friendship despite her being a first-born millennial. We go on for what's usually the duration of our typical phone calls about how we first met and clicked, her taking on the roles of a full-time employee and all-time mom to two highly intelligent and independent girls, and we dish out on common interests and unfamiliar territories. However, this also happens to be probably the most awkward situation I've ever been placed in because Jen's eldest daughter Ari (Thirty-seven) tags along and my Aunt Mercedes (Thirty-eight) and Uncle Patricio (Thirty-nine) from Mexico joins in the chit-chat and I totally didn't plan on spinning the bottle on either one of them. But what the hell? Such is life.
Greetings, fellow listeners. It's been ages since we had a guest on the pod and this one planted a self-reflective implant in my brain. Cristina Ramirez, the pod's thirty-fifth guest, sits down with us to talk about crossing paths at Hole in the Wall, our mutual acquaintance with my old high school geometry teacher and bowling coach, teaching English and journalism to high schoolers, participating in awareness for Autism, and her incredible transition from film major to journalism major. Not only was this a really neat conversation, but it felt like an unexpected breakthrough at a therapy session.

Doc gives his opinion on Rapaport's comedic style and I recall me and Rene getting stupidly lucky meeting Rapaport at the club entrance and fanboying like crazy. We also talk about my current condition of having chest pains with my gastrointestinal problems and an extremely nasty scenario involving my sister voiding her bowls on the rug in my bathroom the day before. Enzo and I catch up with each other the last time he was on the pod, I've never met Javi before so I get to know more about him, and we all share our opinions of the latest and most badass season of "Cobra Kai" which is now on Netflix. Feast your ears on this gobsmacking chit chat, fellow listeners! Robert Sealey, aka English Bob, has returned to the scene of the pod after a lengthy absence of sixth months. Whilst still connected with each other via cellular device, last we'd encountered ourselves was at my birthday celebration three months prior. Glad to rekindle with a swell ol' chap and delighted that father was able to partake in the colloquy to display his knowledge and fascination in British history and culture to Robert and we express our dismay on cancel culture. Never have I ever felt so gay (In the most non-homosexual way possible) to be reacquainted with a jolly good ol' chum. We also pay our respects to late comedy legend Robin Williams on what today is the eighth anniversary of his tragic passing.
