Soon after closing the door, I stood off to the side out of view peeking through the pale white drapery curtains that hung over the main living room window downstairs. He was still there in his black Ford pick up truck. He wasn't kidding? He actually wanted to go out with me?
•GERARD's POV••
The ranch was already bustling with activity despite the early hour as was per usual a day before the weekend. Grants were early risers. Always was and always will be. We were bred that way so the ranch was no exception.
