Preachers do not have the luxury of simply dressing as they please, but they are called to lead and influence others to be like Jesus. A preacher’s appearance and dress play a significant role in how he or she relates to others. This episode explains how one preacher came to the conclusion that it is best that he remain clean shaven.
I love books! The easiest and most inexpensive way to gather knowledge is by reading. In this episode, I grab a dozen or so books off my shelves and flip through them. There is no rhyme or reason -- no theme that connects one book to another. Just a short description of each book and a thought or two about each one.
God's word has the power to transform any life that will submit to its commands. The process of healing occurs over time as a person walks in the path God's word prescribes. We often complicate the healing process when we are slow to forgive those who have injured us, or when we waste our energy by fighting battles that get us nowhere. Be encouraged because it is God's desire that you be healed along the way as you walk with Him.
