A Sober Curious Experiment! Follow two female entrepreneurs and friends as we share our week-by-week journey into alcohol-free living. This is a podcast for female entrepreneurs, founders and professionals who are interested in exploring the impact and advantages sobriety has on our personal and professional lives! We share our challenges and successes as we navigate life without the wine goggles.
“We have to remind ourselves that this is an experiment. This was never going to be a lifetime commitment. This is 100 days,” explains co-host Vanessa. Hosts Sarah and Vanessa have faced a roadblock in their sober journey. Although still committed to following through, they share the challenges of cutting out alcohol.
Now that week four is behind them, Vanessa and Sarah reevaluate why they started this experiment, especially when they miss the fun of drinking. When they watch others drink or have an emotional moment, it’s hard not to reach for a martini. However, when they both recognize the positives like increased mental clarity and productivity, it encourages them to continue to see where sobriety can lead them.
Despite the difficulties of sobriety, the hosts have vowed to see this experiment through. Learn more about feeling socially left out, creating self-belief, and finding healthier solutions to self-soothe.
