A Training Center Panel – Attendees joined ACB Students for a panel which featured representatives from three blindness training centers: • The Hellen Keller Center • The Carroll Center for the Blind • one of the National Federation of The Blind centers These three centers are located across the country, and their representatives joined us to speak about the programs offered within them. Learn how their programs can help you gain your independence in travel, cooking, reading, writing, using technology, doing recreational activities, and more. Attendees learned about the importance of having a positive attitude on blindness. There was a Question and Answer period at the end of the session.
