Sovereignty means: Hebrew- reign , Rule, dominion Greek- kingship, sovereignty, authority, rule, especially of God, both in the world, and in the hearts of men; hence: kingdom, in the concrete sense.

Gah, Peter didn't even have the holy spirit at that time `and we DO. How much greater is out treachery against God when we deny Him with having the indwelling of the Spirit. My heart breaks, I feel weak and overwhelmed at looking at this picture. How could we possibly disregard such a great master?
Application:
•Change your view of God: He's not a master with a whip beating us up constantly. We don't have to constantly be doing something good to earn his favor. •Live in obedience: Not in a "obey your boss, obey your parents - because I said so". But out of love for God. If you truly love God, you will want to listen to him, keep his commands, and praise Him. •Run to Him in praise. Say it out loud who He is. He is your master, protector, healer, conqueror, and Savior. Tell Him He is a good master. Praise Him and ask Him for more of the Holy Spirit.

When we come to God in prayer, let our first thing be to remind us that he IS Holy, and to thank Him for that. Our first thing should be to glorify and praise Him. If He wasn't Holy, we wouldn't have a Savior. Let us stop using the term "Holy" so casually.

From all of the research and studying for the podcast there are a few things that SEVERAL sources believe are essential and there are some things that I have learned from living with Sydney.
•Pray: first for them, then for yourself. Pray for compassion, tenderness, understanding, and pray that you don't try to "fix" them. "A LACK OF COMPASSION LEADS TO A LACK OF PASSION"- A. R. Prince •Love them where they are. •Love them in there lack of faith, love them in there lack of clarity, and love them when they lack in love. •There is no telling how many times I chose to retaliate instead of loving Sydney where she was. I chose to look and act upon how I felt rather than the gospel. •"Because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness." Lamentations 3:22-23 | NIV •IF we serve a God who never changes and who calls us to pursue holiness in him, then that is the same for compassion. Always. No exceptions.
BUT AUSTIN, WHAT ARE WE TO SAY TO THEM!?
•This is where I am going to give more of my approach on the situation.... Learn to shut up and say nothing. Learn to listen, learn that you are not to fix them. Learn that you are broken, hopeless, and wicked anything you could possibly think of to help them will blow up in your face. You are just as broken as they are.
But when there is a moment to talk, do not speak of your feelings and your thoughts. Do these things
•Remind them of biblical truth. They are redeemed, they are saved, God can handle their anger and frustration, God loves them. •Remember: Even the sweetest words of biblical truth will look often look pointless to them. So what then? •Pray for strength, because that is a sign that battles within them are going to be long and hard.
For the friends or spouse in supporting others
•" with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love," Eph 4:2 •Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant" - 1 Corithians 13:4For the friend or spouse struggling with God
•The Lord is good to everyone who trusts in him, So it is best for us to wait in patience-to wait for him to save us. "- Lamentations 3:25-26
WHAT NOT TO DO
•Harass them •Pressure them •Condemn them
How can I know it's Real?
•Stop looking at your faith and start looking at the one who gifted it to you •There are no absolute relationships on earth, if you don't need them to love and trust your brother then why request it from god?
