We follow Mike Hough’s career and what Jillian experienced from his tenure as captain for the Quebec Nordique, the Florida Panthers magical playoff run of 96/96, moving to New York, calling it a career and retiring, and finally finishing off with her present day outlook on the modern NHL world. Jimmy stops by this week to discuss some of the best local hiking spots in Vancouver, how COVID-19 had an impact on hiking, tips and tricks for beginners, and some of the best hikes he’s ever done. Jimmy also talks about his recent conversion to electric cars and his feelings towards his new Tesla Model 3. Toby, a manager of a restaurant at a local prestigious hotel, drops by to discuss the COVID-19 shutdown and how it impacted him. He reveals he was actually working that morning and what the next steps were when the shutdown was announced. He then discusses the new safety measure in place and any close calls he’s had. Toby talks to Andy about going from furloughed to frontline in a matter of months. The two also discuss following sports during the restart, favourite teams, the World Series, and they open a pack of Topps 2020 Series 1 to close it off.
The lovely Kitty of Instagram’s kikikat_foodindex stops by to chat with Andy of the Card Guys in this week’s Cards ‘N Conversation. The two go over the influencer status that Kitty has built from being a foodie, some of the weird conversations she’s had being a publicly viewed female, her memories of sports, and finally, the two rip open a blaster box of Illusions 19/20.
Pritpaul joins Andy on this week’s episode and discusses his experience living through the pandemic at the disaster zone that was New York earlier this year. The two then discuss horror movies and zombies, before breaking down the genre. They move on to talk about sports and sports in New York, mainly the big teams like the Yankees. Finally, the two finish with a discussion on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, its modern influence, and then open a few packs of Buffy cards.
Andy aka F5 of the Card Guys sits down to chat with James Tao who is in the midst of his quarantine in Hong Kong.
