This week, we delved into code-switching: switching up the way you speak, dress, mannerisms, and more in different environments, specifically the work-force. Do you use certain words in all aspects of life; do you know the context in which you code-switch; do you code-switch the way you dance? While Brittany speaks in 10 different accents on any given day, and Lareesa refuses to give up ‘ting’ even in professional spaces, you have Sukai that stands firm in her belief that you do code-switch no matter what - at least in the workplace anyways.
