Welcome to She is so brave, a podcast about fears. We are all afraid of something: From not being enough, speaking in public, staying alone, imposter syndrome, putting ourselves out there, fear of failure, fear of success. Fear is our most basic defence mechanism and is there to protect us from something we want to avoid. The problems start when our fears balloon into these huge independent beings that attempt and often succeed in stopping us from going after the things we really want, instead of just helping us avoid the things we are trying to avoid. I believe our fears are our guardians and we need to give them the respect they deserve and work with them, instead of against them on the way to the life we want. On this podcast we will talk about all kinds of mental fears, where they come from and how they operate. We will talk about what fears are made of, and learn how to stop letting our fears manage us and take over our lives. We will have conversations with people leading inspiring lives and hear how they managed to create the life they craved while being scared. We will talk about all the tips and tricks I found to start working with my fears and explore what it takes to live life on our terms and to go after our dreams - despite being scared.Join me on this journey of getting to know our fears and leveraging them to find the courage to live life on our terms.

In this episode I share my definition of courage and how when you start seeing the act of being brave and each instance of overcoming your fears as a personal process of aligning yourself to who you are and who you want to become, taking brave actions becomes easy and effortless and fears turn into temporary distractions.
How can you create life changing affirmations that you can believe in and that will help you transform your life?
What are affirmations? why do they work? And what are some of the important things to take into account, before starting to use affirmations, to make sure they are effective and useful.
I also share my top 6 affirmations that help me overcome fear and find my courage, in the moment, when I am scared.
Using these affirmations has really been life changing for me and I credit a lot of my breakthroughs and growth in the last few years to coming up with the right affirmations and using them in a consistent way.

In this episode Roxana Popet an NLP trainer and transformational speaker who specialises in overcoming fears on our way to success shares:
- How NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) can help you create your own version of the life that you are after
- How to make fulfilling decisions despite fear (and why there is no one right decision)
- What's the number one fear she sees holding people back and how to overcome it.
- Her own personal story and how it took a serious health scare to finally nudge her out of her comfort zone and make her go after her dreams.
You can find Roxana's free resource: The 7-Step Guide To Permanently Conquer Your Fears, the most efficient mindset exercise, a tool to train your mind to focus on solutions at

In this episode we talk about how fear sometimes masquerades as something else: perfectionism, procrastination or even doubt. We talk about the relatioships between fear and not taking action and how that combination can be detrimental to our ability to achieve our dreams and our goals.
Only once we are able to expose the fear that is underlying our seemingly unrelated actions and choices, only then we can really address it and start creating our brave life.
Today is mothers day in the UK and it got me thinking about how our motherhood and our children can be the very reason for our courageousness.
Being brave, when it matters, and allowing ourselves to be who we want to be and not letting fear stand in the way of our goals and dreams is one of the most important things we can do to inspire and model bravery to our children.
In this episode, I am also sharing 3 things I want my children to know about fears.

Sometimes, it's not the core defining fears that hold us back, but our daily feelings of anxiety that appear out of nowhere.
How can we start reducing our levels of anxiety and learn to overcome it?
What neuroscience can teach us on why our anxieties sometimes manifest with no apperant reason?
Why trying to control our thoughts and force the anxiety to dissapear is counter productive and just fuels our suffering and what to do instead.
What ancient buddhist wisdom can teach us about dealing with anxiety in our daily lives.

We are all naturally drawn towards comfort and safety. They are basic human instincts - we all want to feel good.
The idea of doing new things and stepping out of our comfort zone is scary and rightly so. It feels like intentionally doing something we can’t do or we don’t know if we can do.
The edge of our comfort zone is where fear lives. You need to go through fear to get to the learning phase and then to the actual growth phase. But when you are faced with stepping out of your comfort zone you don’t see the learning or growth - all you focus on is fear.
On this episode we talk about what is our comfort zone, why it's important to stretch it and make it bigger and I offer you some ways to lean into your courage and practice stretching your comfort zone, one small step at a time.

On this episode we will talk about where fears come from.
The first step of learning how to handle our fears or succeed despite them is to understand where our fears come from, why they exist and how they operate.
Research shows that we are only born with two fears: a fear of falling and a fear of loud noises. That’s it. Every other fear we have we have created or adopted throughout our lives.
And just as much as we were able to pick those fears up, we can unlearn them and erase them from our lives.
In this episode I also discuss an exercise I often use to unearth the core fear hiding behind some unexplained, unexpected fears that pop up.

Welcome to She is so brave, a podcast about fears.
I am your host, Adi Ronen and I believe that our fears are gifts that can help us identify what’s important to us and what is worth going after.
What’s worth avoiding and what’s worth fighting for.
We are all afraid of something: From not being enough, speaking in public, staying alone, imposter syndrome, putting ourselves out there, fear of failure, fear of success. Fear is our most basic defence mechanism and is there to protect us from something we want to avoid.

If you ever feel like the only thing standing between you and the life you want is your fears and your insecurities,
If you ever have a feeling that you are just not brave enough or confident enough to do what it takes.
If you feel other people are more confident, less scared or have it all figured out and that’s why they are where they are and you are not quite there yet... - then this podcast is for you.
Join me on this journey of getting to know our fears and leveraging them to find the courage to live life on our terms.
