Lots of complaining took place about remote controls, #TurnSignals or the lack there of, #grammar, #cluelessness, #printers. And, it wouldn’t be a What We Meant to Say podcast if something related to #food wasn’t discussed…like people actually reading the menu at fast food places, or ordering too many coffees at the drive-through. Jake #loves #ParksAndRecreation and #InkMaster and thinks Hinds needs to #mindlessly stream both shows. Hinds really loved #TheOffice when the character Michael Scott was on, but strongly disliked The Office when Michael was gone. Jake and Hinds also breakdown televisions shows that you have to pay #attention while watching and shows that you can let your mind wander and not miss much.
Thinking about what series to #stream stoked the juices in Jake and Hinds that they both need to think about their #BucketLists and update as necessary. Tis’ the Season…for #Christmas movies (are there #Hannukah movies?)! Jake and Hinds roll through some of their favorite and memorable Christmas #movies in this #episode of The What We Meant to Say #podcast. The long time question “Is #DieHard a Christmas movie?” is finally answered once and for all.
Jake and Hinds hit on the usual Christmas movies, but also include some #scary and #creepy Christmas movies (Hinds has #Grinch nightmares ever #December) and #romantic #comedies #RomCom (Jake loves a good RomCom). Hinds takes a cheap shot at #Hallmark Channel Christmas movies for their lack of different plots and cast in each movie…FYI, same plot just different setting in every movie!
The podcast starts with Hinds once again throwing Jake a #curveball and not following the script that they talk about ahead of the recording. Hinds reads a text from a turkey from Turkey (aka Dr Mom) that comments on the show. Also, it has come to Jake and Hinds’ attention that people are tracking their #swearing (parental advisory: Hinds says H-E-L-L once in this podcast and Jake thinks all those other bad words). Jake tried #buttering-up Hinds, but it doesn’t work.

Jake decided that Hinds needed to try something completely new in his life after he learned something he thought was weird about Hinds. Jake loves watching #TikTok and #YouTube videos, especially the #funny ones that don’t go #viral, and Jake wanted to know what videos Hinds liked to watch. Much to the #surprise of Jake, Hinds has never really watched TikTok, YouTube or any viral videos. Hinds barely knows how to operate YouTube and Hinds has never used TikTok before so it’s all relatively new to him. Jake makes a list of 10 (or is it 11) videos for Hinds to watch and give his reaction to during the #WhatWeMeantToSay podcast (see video links below). From funny things kids say to crazy video animation stories, Jake has it all covered in the videos he makes Hinds watch. Also, Hinds throws in a video he wants Jake to watch at the end.
Also, in this What We Meant to Say podcast, Hinds reveals his newly found enjoyment of “Can’t Park Pages” on #Facebook. And, Jake admits to eating #pizza cooked in the microwave. What a pair of strange dudes. Who knows what is next for this two?!
