Jesus says: “I tell you, my friends, do not fear those who kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do. Formation has changed my life. We all get formation in many different ways. Family, sports, school, Church, content, books, etc. In this episode, I talk with a good bro, Huy Le, about the importance of formation. He shares the impact good formation has had on his life. I believe we all need formation and that it would be good to intentionally place ourselves in environments conducive to growth. I hope this episode encourages you to seek out good formation and open yourself up to receive.

I had a great conversation with my new friend AJ. We talked about support raising and how asking for financial aid can be a real blessing for the receiver and giver.
If you are discerning to do some sort of missionary year or something like a year at St. Therese Institute of Faith and Mission and you do not have sufficient funds, you may have to support raise. Hopefully, this episode will inform you about the gift of giving and receiving financial support in order to share the joy of the gospel and be formed in the way of Jesus Christ.

Is the Priesthood awesome? Good question. In this episode, I talk with my new friend, Reilly Kaup. We both get fired up about the priesthood. I think the priesthood can sometimes get a bad rep nowadays for quite a few reasons. But consequently, it can get overlooked by some guys or they do not consider a possible call to follow Christ as one of his Priests. I do believe the world needs Priests and Christ is always calling. We get into some of the obstacles, sacrifices, joys, and aspects of this vocation that we think are awesome. Comment and let us know what you thought of the conversation.

Spoilers Alert! It was almost midnight when I was swinging at high speeds from one skyscraper to the next. The moon and city lights led me on until the adrenaline rush ceased as a result of waking from this reoccurring dream I would have as a boy. During my early teenage years, I wanted to be Spider-Man. There was something so attractive about being a hero and fighting off the "bad guys". This passion and love for spiderman was certainly "aroused by the attraction of the good."^1^ Superhero movies or stories like Spider-Man helped make the reality of good and evil evident to me as a child and even now. All human beings seem to have a common understanding that there is good and evil in this world. To come to a belief in the existence of good and evil seems to be the first step in accepting the reality of a moral life and the idea of Christian freedom.
This understanding of objective morality plays an essential role in the life of every Christian. It informs man to order his life and actions towards the good and to resist evil. The more good or truth in one's life results in greater freedom (Jn 8:32, _RSV_). For even though I wanted to be spiderman, I also recognized the seductive lure of being a villain. We can see this clearly in the story of _Spider-Man and Venon_. However, this phenomenon is nothing new for "man, enticed by the Evil One, abused his freedom at the very beginning of history."^2^
Yet, one might question what this has to do with the person of Jesus Christ or a life in Christ. The reality of moral acts means there is a reality of sin. A sin which man cannot be free of by human means or human power as a result of the division within man between good and evil,^3^ This constant, dramatic, struggle leaves all humanity in need of a savior. This is the role, mission, and purpose of Jesus Christ and it is through grace we are restored from what sin has damaged in us.^4^ Christ modeled this way of love and invited all to abide in him (Jn 15:5-7).
Without the sacrifice of Christ man would still be enslaved because it is "for freedom Christ has set us free" (Gal 5:1). With this great power of freedom, comes great responsibility and I pray for the grace to use it in order to authentically live a life in Christ.

In this episode, my brother, Luc, and I talk about who Jesus is and why we should follow him.
He says he is God, yet he is also a man. He is the Word made flesh for us. He has made faith tangible and sanctified all life for us.
My journey in the faith came from really experiencing a call from Christ to follow him. And experiencing this call, I can trust he will lead me. Seeing others live out a life like Christ and act in persona Christi has moved my heart. Seeing how powerfully transforming the love of Christ is through the witness of the saints making sacrifices in joy for others has given me the desire to do the same.

If he were of a different substance from me, he would surely not have ordered me to do as he did, when by my very nature I am so weak.
