How one became a catalyst for another and how the balance of life and work is maintained whilst growing as an individual

As the darkest and most depressing month of the departs from our life yet again for another year, bringing us one step closer to the glory of the sun. January for many is an extremely testing place for many leaving us battered and bruised, as well as mentally frail allowing in feelings of inadequacy to blossom and scatter seeds of doubt about our well developed talents.
In todays meditation I share a reasoning I had with the wonderful painter named Love Hannington , as well as tunes from Nabz and Raggo Zulu Rebel

It's so frustrating when you make a plan and it doesn't go as expected, sometimes this works in our favour and sometimes it doesn't. Spotting the difference isn't always as easy as it sounds.

Propaganda is one of the most powerful tools in the history of man's existence. It has the power to capture hearts, ignite minds and uplift the spirit.
It's how wars have been won and lost, it's how the multitude are moved. It's so important It's an art form all on its own. Like most art forms it is the beginning and end of its own circle. Out of it comes paintings, sculptures, music, poetry, literature, food, and so much more
So what is the purpose of the artist?

With the weather turning a corner and the sun turning up more in our neighbourhoods, the buds on the trees begin to open and the leaves begin to grow. This is reflective of the artist in this period, but are you appreciating growth? Are you even aware of your own growth? And how do you stimulate growth?

We very rarely find ourselves drawing parallels through our similarities. In todays reasoning I have author Aklila Kedan and we discuss his book parallels, his journey in Rastafari and other subjects that effect us today.

Rastafari cuvlture has produced some of the most overlooked and underrated creatives and its a culture that continues to be misunderstood. I had the pleasure to reason with the curator of the Tafari gallery, Jahsiah Kingsley.

Sharing information is one of the most if not the most important modes of preserving the creative processes we cling to.
So why do we find it so hard to share? And why do we believe by sharing we somehow inhibit our own progress?

What's a university?
What if this whole time we were in university and we didn't know it?
What if the information we crave is there to be devoured?
We're constantly recieving information but what are we doing with it?
What makes your art worth it? Is it the value you place on it, or is it the value that you feel others should place on it.
With today's connectivity powered by the ever growing social media platforms how has this affected us not only as artists, but as beings?
Why do we feel that likes equates to the value of our expression?
