The 7th Island - Season 1; Episode 1 - Working as a junior research scientist, James Jones is at his wits end when another experiment fails to yield the results he needs to obtain admission into a top tier graduate school. He gets ready to repeat the entire experiment when his research manager calls him into a meeting to inform him to decide on renewing his contract for another year or immediately leave the company.
