Podcasting is part of the STEMarketing & Communications pathway designed to teach students how to use communication to present ideas and designs.
Today, We talked about our injuries and how we overcame them. We also talked about our struggles with our injury and how we bounced back.
In this episode I'll be interviewing DJ, a basketball student athlete. He talks about growing up playing basketball with his dad and how that influenced him at a young age. Next he speaks about what motivated him to continue playing basketball. Then he gives examples of some of the friends he's met through basketball. We also go into what makes a good basketball player and why you should build a good connection with your teammates. In addition to what makes a good player, he also mentions what makes a bad one and what mistakes to avoid. Afterwards he breaks down how to persevere and get past a loss or slump. We hear his opinion on how a player's social life can affect the way they perform. Lastly, DJ tells us if there is anything he would change about his favorite sport. Throughout this episode he gives good advice for current and future athletes and explains how your mindset can affect your game. He gives notable insight from a player's perspective.
On today's podcast, we will be talking about how taking naps helps your mood. If you are grouchy one day your are most definitely tired so take an hour-and-a-half nap to help your mood. It's proven to put a smile on your face 100 percent. Also, after a long day and your bed looks too good your gonna want to lay in it so go ahead and lay down in it and let your mind drift away.

It is a weird 90s rom-com; an adult pretends to be a kid and infiltrates a high school; how did nobody have an issue with this (also, the story was based on a real-life experience)? After that, we jump into the world of dating and conspiracy theories, both of which are the greatest mysteries of our time, such as whether Walt Disney's head froze and whether I will ever get a girlfriend.
This episode I delved into how every time I went to a Waffle House the food was ok, the service was always bad, and finally they didn't have enough options for their menu. He disagreed with everything I had to say. Saying the food is amazing, the service is fast and they are nice, he closes with the fact that they don’t need a lot for how you don’t have to pick between so many things and you basically get the same thing everytime. Making it easy and quick to choose. Finally we end with a draft for you guys to vote on which is better.

In this episode, I talked about the 2022 World Cup. I started off by explaining the United States' position and where they are in the tournament. After that, I gave some background information about the world cup that some people may not know. People who aren’t very interested in soccer will then get some basic information about which games are coming up this week and predictions of who will win and why.

Educational travel is an excellent vehicle for students to gain global competency. Whether domestic or international, travel provides students with hands-on experiences and life lessons that transcend the classroom. Students can comprehend, recall, analyze, and apply real-world lessons learned through their personal experiences.
Padawan Travelers' goal is to identify educational trips for students to tour historical sites and cities with rich cultural significance. These trips offer students an opportunity to see and experience the broader world around them that books alone cannot provide.
Students are traveling more today than ever before. As teachers, we strive to impart multicultural awareness to our students, but we are limited by the school environment's confines, and exploring real-world global diversity is rare. Educational travel abroad provides students with opportunities to meet people from different cultures and actively immerse themselves in culture, history, and diversity. Students get to feel a sense of connection with others, encouraging respect and understanding while gaining knowledge from a new perspective.
In general, travel is an educational experience because going someplace new puts us out of our comfort zone and into a new perspective, a new place, and new self-awareness. When you add international travel to your student's experiences, they gain an abundantly useful and memorable experience; you will never be able to replace them with a classroom lesson. Educational travel allows students to further their learning experience by seeing and experiencing what they learned about in class, plus a lot of additional information that most lessons don't cover.
